Put the baffles back, they should sound like a rolls Royce. I had three of these and the super sports like one of mine, had a gold painted crank case. Watch out for the low tension capacitors on the distributors plate, they burn out, and set you head scratching. Also if they get hot on a long run, and you stop you can find it hard to start. Either let it cool down or slightly adjust the dis backplate . Cheers mate.
