In October my husbands starts training for his promotion. Which also includes a pay raise. It will be nice to have a little more to save and pay towards loans.
We use T-Mobile right now. We get it cheap because we’re on a group plan with my husband’s family, and I’m always on the lookout for an even better deal haha 😆 we live with family and they are kind enough to include internet and utilities in that price!
$310 to give to the church when only 1 person works in the house is way too much. Yes, it's great if you can donate and help, but from my point of view $310 is unjustified.
I wouldn't call it unjustified at all. This gal is building a foundation of charitable giving and a mindset to help lift others in her community. Of course it's a stretch for her budget, but it's awesome to see people make it a priority to serve others where they can.
We want to put our money toward things that matter to us and our church, community, and giving in general fall under that category 🙂 while giving 10% can be hard sometimes in our current season of life, it’s important to us and we see blessings in our life because of it! That’s the great thing about personal finance, it just needs to work for you and your goals!
You did an amazing job with your grocery budget! That’s definitely one of the trickiest categories to stick to. Great tips! 👏
Thank you! It’s definitely a goal I have to keep my eye on the prize for or it quickly gets out of hand!
It’s time to get those October budgets created! I’m so excited for this new month! What are you looking forward to this month?

A raise is always exciting!
I love that your budget is so simple! Who do you use for cell service? Also, does your rent include internet and utilities?

You have a nice budgeting system. What about electricity/water, is that included in your rent?
Yes, all utilities/internet and included in our rent 😊
