None of my friends are into Star Wars and it really really sucks because, I want to show someone this and have them understand why this video is so powerful. Not just to look at the perfect timing and beat but the words and story that are behind this awesome creation.
Rex is so amazing. This show, along with The Bad Batch, have so much humanity in them it’s unreal. They go through times of sorrow, death, defeat… but like a phoenix, they rise from the ashes. They celebrate new beginnings, life, and victory. The humanity in these shows is why I like them so much.
Yes indeed. The last 3 Episodes of Clone Wars are basically a movie in its own, with just a general higher production value, but also a story that just locked me to my screen.
It’s funny, when Tup said “Good Soldiers Follow Orders” I thought it was because of his chip being corrupted and was an one off line. I had no idea it would become the herald of doom. Now when we hear “Good Soldiers…” my blood goes cold and I become hyper aware. They know what their doing Today at Lucas Film. And you edit is very well done. Excellent job there. 👍🏻

Am I... am I... crying tears of joy? No other television show has ever made me experience all the different types of emotions... except this *MASTERPIECE* right here. I remember growing up watching every new episode that airs around 9AM on Cartoon Network, knowing I would love every second of it from beginning to end. But as time passes, you come to realize as you mature and are well-educated that there was more than meets the naked eye. This very "kids show" accurately depicts the true harsh reality of war; that there's always be no certain victories, no guaranteed survival, and no told truths. Thank you for creating this truly amazing edit with those well-done battle sequences, sound synchronizations, and meaningful quotes. Every single clone who've fought for the righteous cause are good warriors, good soldiers, good brothers, and good people💙
Everything is just put so well together, the sound, the music, the clips and the voicelines. I growed up with SWtCW and loved it from the beginning, this show formed my life and my character. A show firstly designed for children, now has the best community of all time and so many perfect references to the real world. SWtCW is such a masterpiece, just like this edit. I am ashamed that i find the real edit after 3 years, but i found it and I love it. SWtCW is my life and the Clones are not just some favourite characters, they are my brothers! No other show in the world can reach the level from SWtCW, this show lets me cry even as a grown young man that knows what happens in each episode, I will always cry when Keeli, 99, Thorn, Jesse, Vaughn, "Gregor", "Echo" and espacially Fives dies, it alway will hit me like a rock smashing in my face. This edit brings up so many memories up and lets me think: Why? Why the Clones, why is the ending written before, just why? Fives was so close from saving the Republic and the Clones, but in the end the effort was for nothing, sadly... But one more thing I have to say: Do not cry because it is over... smile because it happend!
I'm an old man who saw Star Wars as a youngster in 1977 with my mom. I grew up with the wonder, mystery, adventure and hope. Though that's mostly gone now with Disney, sadly. It's been a massive part of my entire life. Empire is my all-time fave movie. That said, to ME, Clone Wars is the best content in Star Wars. It's staggering to think of all the new, amazing characters we met.. Ahsoka, Rex, Ventress, Cad Bane and many others. Like many of you, i watched to see Anakin and Obi Wan. I didn't love Ahsoka but i also didn't dislike her. I thought she was funny but she has grown to be one of my fave SW people. Her arc is maybe the most fully developed of any other in all of SW. When she left the Order, i cried. Me, an old guy cried when she came back at the battle of mandalore and had her own troops with her symbol. They respected and loved her and she them. The one thing that still strikes me to this day is discovering the thing we didn't even know we needed.. The Clones. I know most everyone loves Rex or Cody but MY fave is and was Fives. We learned from Rex and the guys, they were people, not numbers. They fought, sacrificed and died for the Republic and their brothers. How about Clone 99? His death trying to help his brothers really hit me. The Clones have the best story, IMO. Seeing this amazing video brought back so many episodes and it hit HARD. I miss them. This shit is amazing. You sir, have truly made a work of art that Dave filoni would certainly be proud of. The transition at 2:37 and the following fist fights and explosions were just perfect. 👌
That "We could use a jedi about now" with all the different clips and voicelines was absolutely chilling. Then the way it ties in with the "Execute order 66" in the end... Just wow.

If you listen to the lyrics they can be so accurate: "Here we are don't turn away now" About the clones being neglected by the senate/gov "We are the warriors that built this town" They literally risked their lives for the people to live in peace
it is imposible to say in words how good this video was all 3:20 of it the crosshair blast to rex getting shot if it wasnt for the feliucia behinde rex it would actualy look like crosshair shot rex this video was amasing with every trasition looking really polished and seemless, also this just goes to show how much the clone wars had an impact on the world and the best scenes of it. also, if this was a song on spotify that would be AMASING!
God the way you cut between clips to recontextualize different scenes and lines is BRILLIANT. Rex saying “we’re part of something larger” immediately followed up by Crosshair saying “you never could see the bigger picture” and then Fives saying “it’s… bigger than any of us” and then back to Rex (I believe?) saying “we’re not independent of one another”. All these lines are talking about the same thing, the clones being cogs in the great machine of the Republic, and eventually, the Empire. Except each line offers a different and progressively more terrible perspective on that fact. The clones are apart of an important, good cause. The clones are important pieces in a greater plan, (but this time it’s said by a man sided with the Empire). The clones are small in the grand scheme of things. Then circling back around to the idea of clones being all apart of a greater good, but with more focus on each other. It’s only like, 10 seconds but I love it so much. But not more than the following clips because AAAAAA??????? At 0:59 we see shiny clones marching onward to new deployment. We all recognize this from the episode “Dominoes” and we all know this is a celebratory shot. It’s cool, its awesome. Domino Squad has completed they’re training. They’re soldiers now. Which is why it blows me out of the water every time the next clip comes in because it’s the firing squad lining up to execute Fives and Jesse. It’s that same perfect stance. Same march. Complete unison. Except it’s not cool now. There’s nothing to celebrate. And it totally changes the light the first clip, and the following one is in, because fundamentally, *this* is what they were trained to do. *This* is their grand purpose in the system. It’s to follow orders. And I KNOW this has already been pointed out, but Fives being interrupted by Crosshair’s entrance just before he can say “over” has chills run down my spine EVERY time, without fail.
This might be the greatest edit i have ever seen. You are very good at what you do man! That beat drop at 3:01 gave me chills! Well done bro, a very deserved like and sub.

Hits me harder every time I watch it. The clone wars raised me. And seeing it now, emerge from the start as a kids show, purely for entertainment. 2:38 Perhaps Best Star Wars edit ever
I get goosebumps every time I watch it
Hits me harder every time I watch it. The clone wars raised me. And seeing it now, emerge from the start as a kids show, purely for entertainment. Now it's just showing how a kids show can go a long way to show the forming bond of an army and their masters, and how that bond was broken by one simple aspect. (This may not make sense to some, please excuse my bad grammar)
When you did that blaster fire at 1:25 I feel like the guys who made the movie did that on purpose, I love it! Don't stop making good content like this, your the best star wars editor!
This gave me goosebumps. This should be an official trailer.
This is an amazing clone wars trailer and now I'm rewatching clone wars for the 47th time
