Fantastic video, very interesting. Thanks for posting. I suppose the only thing about having bigger or biggest ships, is the potential to having the most serious results when/if things go wrong - and they DO go wrong. If I HAD to state a favourite, it would be QM2 [of course], or one of the container ships.

I think for most part a robot voice was used. It felt like a dead voice without emotions. I am getting allergic to these dead voices. Only the first minute or so was watchable. I stopped the video at around 4 minutes

# 4: What an enormous waste of a ship. It made fewer than 10 trips total in its entire lifespan before being sold off for scrap. Talk about being detrimental to the environment, this ship’s construction and dismantling cost our environment plenty, and hardly ever did its purpose for construction in between. This ship shouldn’t have been scrapped when it was. These types of ships are already being scrapped well before they should be as it is. AND EVEN WORSE IS #5: So, the ship is a whopping 40 % more efficient than other similar ships…until, that is, you take into consideration the amount of fuel oil burned to convert the boil off LNG back to liquid. Sounds great, right? But do you know what sounds even better? Take the boiled off LNG and use it to fuel the ship’s engines. LNG burns far cleaner than fuel oil. And by using the boil off LNG, the amount of storage dedicated to fuel for the ship’s engines can be reduced substantially, decreasing the amount of weight having to be transported that’s not associated with the ship’s cargo. So use that boil off to propel the ship to its destinations. Then use somewhat smaller capacity tanks of LNG to propel the now much lighter, empty ship back to get refilled.
this is a negative comment, because first of all the titel of the video does not identify with the entire content, so it is not about the biggest ships - but mostly the very large ships about. Although they were indeed among the largest ships at that time, the order is also totally wrong and misleading. Ships are ranked by DWT, not length or width. In this way, the narrator or the person who posted the videos does not understand his job. However, the naval industry continuously submits vessel data, there are the most important is the DWT
It’s still about the biggest ships. It’s NOT about the twenty heaviest ships, because otherwise, the top ships would nearly all be cruise ships. There’s numerous different types of ships that do different types of jobs, and there’s going to be one or two of each type that happen to be larger than others.
@@mudman6156instead bullshiting, the comment or answer much easier : they are many big and large ships, only the video title is n ot correct, they are large ships on the world, - but not the largest, not a biggest etc. period

In case you've been hiding under a rock for the past month or so, the facts are these: Icon of the Seas is the largest cruise ship in the world. FACT your not very good at this HUH
Very interesting to watch. I liked this.
Icon of the seas is made in Turku (Finland), not Turkiye...
Imagine driving a car that you didnt have to refill after two decades! Thats insane!

I wish the narrator from the intro and strange topic would do the whole thing 🤭 he is very good

Icon of the Seas was built in Finland so why show the Turkish flag?
Realy I like this biggest ships
How about the One Innovation or 2023 One Integrity the ship name by shipbuilding company in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture,Japan.
They're all bigger than my ship. 🚢
Should not the title be 'largest ships on water.'?
He's NOT that bright, when he calls a tug boat a SHIP lol he needs to go back to school !

not only that, the second ship is an ai generated image, the thumbnail is clickbait, it´s just some low effort stuff.
Queen Mary II has a casino?
Wrong often and out of date. For example, Seawise Giant was scrapped in 2010. It doesn't exist. Also a pic or 2 obviously made up. You got karraned
Am I the only one who thinks that the 'icon of the sea' is a butt ugly insult to the seas and to shipping in general?
I'm not keen on many of the cruise ships.
How do people build this stuff
👽
Carefully?
WOWa
How do people build this Stuff?
Strange how the clickbait thumbnail is not seen in the video, plus all the pixels prove this is stolen from others work.
You have no way of knowing any of these clips were stolen. They are often shared for use. Don't make stuff up.
