Rossano is becoming one of my favourite pianists for this particular style. Just love his harmonic choices, and the way he moves through the harmony, and of course the gorgeous stride when he turns up the heat to blazing.
Hi rossano I was wondering if you still remember me I was at your last side door concert with my mother and father I’m Jack by the way me and my dad were talking about great pianists the other day and I thought of you and I just wanted to say hi :)
Ah yes nice to get in touch with you my friend you and your wonderful family tell everyone I say hi I and I’m flattered you think so! Nice to hear from you my friend
The last few measures of the tune which he is playing in Bb. Something like Cm7 F7 Bb6 then a turnaround to get you back to the Eb6 in the first measure. Hope this helps!
Rossano Sportiello is one of the finest jazz pianists of our generation.
Eccezionale!
He might be the best male living stride pianist on this planet.
Would you have a suggestion as to who the best female stride pianist is?
