I was this young bright eyed woman ready to go out into the world, and in one day my life was shattered. I wanted to turn back time, sit in my daddy's lap, wrap my arms around him and never let him go. He was such a sweet, gentle, and loving man, a wonderful father. I dont even have a video of him. I have pictures but sometimes I can't remember what his laughter sounded like, I just know it made me feel warm and safe. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing that one day I'll dance with him again in heaven. Dont lose your compassion for others, it is one of Christ's greatest gifts. Thank you, God bless.

Well ,just bawled me eyes out , I remember when Elvis died , My dad looked like Elvis and my Mumma adored him , they'd dance rock n roll real slick ,My dad would dance with us too we'd have parties and laughter ,then a few years after Elvis died my Dad died just sudden one Monday night at the table cleaning his gun , and my heart broke more for my Mumma than me but my heart broke too . silence and a huge hole fell upon us.

My dad passed away this year. As a child I was very close to him then after my parents divorced I didn't see much of him and lost the closeness we had. Growing up We had some good times and bad and towards the end thanks to a family madders I hardly talked to hin I wish things had been different and that we had stayed close but sometimes life don't allow the same connections we did when we were younger. Love your parents don't miss the time with them because you will never get it back 😔
