Hey Joe, here's a really useful tip. Don't get rid of your starting bomb wand. Replace the bomb with another spell like Sparkbolt, digging bolt, bouncy bolt, chainsaw, ect ect. That wand has a stupid low cast delay. It makes the best digging tool, or a really good machine gun early on.
I've been playing this game for about a week now and I really enjoy it. I've killed myself more than the enemies have. Glad to watch someone else fumble through it.
Game looks really fun. On a personal level i would enjoy it more if it were less roguelite with the permadeath mechanic and more survival exploration. Still i may pick it up when its out of early access.

It got the polish and is one of the best rogue like-lites uut there. If you watched just joe play it and dont want any spoilers le me tell you what is cosmetically better: when entering holy mountin the screen doen not go white anymore. The ammount of stains are more vissible and % show Lots of new potions and spells& locations/ biomes... i guess its not a spoiler if i say that he didnt even encounter 10% of the enemies and simmilar for the location Minibosses!! Sorry cosmetics... yeah, Multiple scatter spell looks different and the delayed cast looks now like the double scatter looks here. Holy mountins have more stuff in them to prepare ya for next biome Just looking at thewand before picking it even up tells alot bout stats. Oh and you dont get stained from just a few pix, it has to be a lil poodle at least. Also there are game aspects that were not even noticed here that are as big and fleshed uut as the "main" game Great game !
@@treesome3979 I'd honestly say terraria has better combat by far, Noita combat relies more on preparation and knowledge than actual skill. You know what you're up against, make a wand that counters or vaporizes said enemy, then shoot it a few times while holding down a few keys. Terraria is a bit of knowledge and majority skill, knowing what the boss can do is good but it doesn't magically mean you can win against it, you also need to dodge everything.
