Yay, the spoon! My lab spoon used to scratch the paper a bit so I smoothed the back with a fine grit file. The Kakamori nib mostly took the place of the spoon since I can swatch and write with the same tool, but I still like to use the spoon sometimes.
Yeah, the bottom is pretty smooth on these, but Aud can buff it down for me if I need her to. The Kakimori nib I just got might be a replacement, though. It's pretty darn good.
Sailor Maine is my preferred alternative to FWP Oyster Hour. I love that "taupe-y" color and am always on the quest for a taupe ink that stays legible but doesn't lapse into a darker brown.
Is there such a thing as “enough ink”? I like the burgundy and the Maryland inks. The first has a drop, rich quality I find appealing and the other looks fairly complex. I’d like to see the chromatography for that one. Fun haul!

Maine is so different from Oyster Hour, though! Both look great, though.
Wow so many new ink brands since 2014. I have well over 180 bottles.
Wanted to check out the new people on UA-cam and see what's new.
Welcome!
In person, Sailor Florida sort of looks like Sailor Arizona does on the camera here.
Oh, interesting. I don't think I have Florida.
Pompadour Cotinga is a South American bird.

Enough? Probably. Too much? Nah.
They are almost all very cool. Dubious about the yellow, but the rest are looking real good.
