  • I bought 2 of these as the reviews at the time were good. I thought that they are cheap enough that I could get one and then another as a spare incase the one died.
Well, both of these arrived and from the word go, they had an issue where they would stop and show an error about the temp being out of range or something like that. You had to switch it off and back on for the error to go away. It seemed random at first, then I noticed that it was happening shortly after turning it on and using it for the first few times after its been off for a while. I then tried using it on some places where a ground plain was present and got it to fail at least 50% of the time.
A few days ago I turn on the one and it would not come on, I checked the fuse and for sure it was blown, So I replaced the fuse as the machine came with a spare, that one blew as well. I thought well at least I have a spare and will have a look at it some other time.
Few days later same issue on my second station.
    So yes frustrated AF.
Currently looking at buying a JBC station

By the way. I contacted the seller in China explaining the problem and the steps to "maybe" fix the station. They were kind enogh to speak with the factory and sent me a new transformer.
It just arrived yesterday. I remoutend the station and it is working again. Hope you managed to fix yours as well.
In the meantime I've bought a Sugo a9 and it's been working great but i noticed while the i2c handle works just fine in the sugon station the i2c station gives a tool error with the sugon handle. Just in case it helps.
    Good luck.

You could rewind the transformer or get a professional rewind service, probably increase the amps.

I am currently working on a project and search for a specific information - Maybe you can help me and answer me one question: I have seen that this soldering station can be used with a T115 handle. But there is only a 24V line for powering the soldering iron? Or is there a 8-ish V line (apart from the supply line for the controlunit itself) for the T115 handles? (So far I cant see any circuit which looks like it could switch between two voltages but I just want to be really really sure. A bit paranoide on this side :) )

Hello friend, can you help me? I have an i2C-2SCN station from a few years back, it worked fine for a long time but now it blows the protection fuses. Similar to what you mention in the video comment.
How to know what is wrong?
How to know if the transformer is damaged?
Nothing changed in the way of using it. I'm sad

Check the transformer without connecting it to station, if it keeps blowing fuse, it means its shorted. I also have the same problem, but mine is shorted on 12V too.😢

I'm in your same spot with my i2c station.. just 4months old and now it won't come on.
Hope you can fix yours and upload how you did it.
    Thanx!
