The only exception that i know of is the 2JZ. Its a pretty well know fact that 2J's can handle Handle 600HP reliably on stock internals and all the way up to 1000 HP if you really wanna push it. But generally you are right, most motors couldnt handle the boost pressure that a 67mm Turbo puts out.
I make 704/595 on half that much boost and PUMP GAS, yet still drive my car to work, the track, nice sunday cruises. You kids have fun playing with your toy cars

The fastest N/A hondas are running 9s not 7s. Also hondas will do more than 1100hp. There was a 1300hp GSR in a honda tuning magazine that had came out months ago. Ran 8s.

Just slap on a ebay kit, upgrade fuel system, hondata and tune,,,thats a easy 300, you dont have to internally build a k until about the 500hp range, but you need a upgraded clutch, lsd and etc
I have never heard of anything good coming out of buying an ebay kit. Cheap ass parts. I've recently decided to do an b18 turbo set up due to the fact that I won't have to buy the engine and have it put in if its already in an integer gsr.
Alot good amount of people on ephatch.com run emusa, with good results they just change the wastegate and hardware (bolts, clamps, etc).. but for sure a quality brand turbo kit is the best

Not about Worth more than Uniqueness... Like the Golf MK2 4 Motion in UA-cam? Its all about Skill and What you Love... If we all Buy cars depending on Worthness well there would be less people buying V8s.
@roamerreed personally i dont like driving rwd cars cause i always see them wheelie and lose control or the car gets pushed sideways and you have to let off.... i would rather just get pulled in a straight line
I want to see that 7 second N/A civic, I'v seen a 7 second turbo civic from speedfactory but never a 7 second N/A civic as far as I know the fastest N/A civic runs 9 seconds.
It doesnt matter what kind of car you have 800/900 hp is 800/900 hp. Its more impressive to get it out of a 4cyl than a 8. Also, most muscle cars are heavy. Ive driven shelby gt500's, challengers, and chargers, non of them compare to a turbo build.

not necessarily. a shop near where i live has an integra that has somewhere around 750hp and its completely street legal.
