Glad to have you back and like always great information Wilson! The haircut looks good amigo and your all set for Thanksgiving now Willie. You look plum respectable, if I was in town we could go down and get us a car loan with that fancy set-up. Lol. Sure appreciate the shout out Wilson! I know I sure get a lot out of those Workshops Wednesday and clearly I’m not alone! There is something in those videos for everyone; beginners to experienced hands . It never fails there’s always something there to take away and use week in, and week out, and that’s just good content,! That’s why folks watch! To learn! It’s just sure great to have you back amigo! Sorry I had to whip and spur ya a little bit there. Lol Have a great rest of the week and thank you again Wilson Capron! Your a difference maker and this platform is exactly what this is for. Mrs. C. Gib the school teacher always gives you an A for a grade, so your making the grade, you just have to make sure you get to class. I’m watching the attendance so your in trouble there and it will be tough to skip. Lol Be good and thank you! Your pal and student, C. Gib
Hey mate ... don't know if it's deliberate or not ... I'm hazarding a guess it is ... but @ 2:58 it appears your template is offset to the rib that the shank clamps onto to lean the shank inwards toward the horse ... if so ... this would appear to suit the right boot & if so would you turn it upside down & reverse image to do the left boot or do you have a separate template ... Cheers mate great channel ...

Are all the shanks the same wide
Yes sir. 1/2”
What dimensions do you use for the women’s, mens or kids template? These are sure hard to line up without a template. Thanks
I use 8.5" for mens, 8" for women, and 7.5" for kids. And yes I have a brass template when I need to mark it out.
Where ya get the jigs?
I made them or had the heel jig cut with Waterjet. Outlaw Waterjet sells them.
Two weeks with no workshop Wednesday worse than waiting for Yellowstone to come back on
Why the hole in the center?
That’s for my jig to bend the band.
