Fact: the drummer Martin Carrizo, was suffering from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) in this concert, but nobody knows, he made a huge effort to be able to play at that show, you can see this on his face, it brokes my heart, that same disease led to his death. About this band, look, you will find that some bands have different names and that's bc they separated then some members start another band or become solo singers. The original name of this band was "Patricio rey y sus redonditos de ricota" then they separated and the vocalist known as Indio Solari started another band called " Los fundamentalistas del aire acondicionado" ( literally "Air conditioner fundamentalists" I know weird name but... 🤷♀️)
Same case for another famous band called "Los piojos" that after separated his vocalist, Ciro Martinez, started the band "Ciro y los persas"
About the crowd, the crowd is the reason bands like Coldplay, for example, did 10 concerts at River Plate (the biggest stadium in the country) most of them sold out. Over 4 million people rocked Buenos Aires city on December 20th. It was nuts. I watched it on TV cause I don't live in BsAs, and I was mindblown by the energy of these people. They spent HOURS under the sun with no food or water and they kept singing and jumping and waving flags. Some parts of the city were damaged after the event, but it was because it's impossible to control that many people. Anyway, we are world championssss ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Okay, Indio Solari is the name of the singer, akin Ceratti for Soda Stereo. Initially, Solari was a member of a sort of performative group including musicians by the late '70s, that evolved into a full fledged rock band. On these original performances they would include food so they distributed ricotta cheese ball snacks, from where the name of the band emerged (the guys giving the audience ricotta ball snaks, to call them "ricotta balls"). Back in the day they promoted concerts as "Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota" (Patricio Rey and his Ricotta Balls"), but Patricio Rey, as the allegued band front man was a ficticious character: they started every show apologizing "because Patricio couldn't make it to the show". "Los Redonditos de Ricota" were coloquially addressed as "Los Redondos". This spanned three decades. Eventually the original band split apart and its members departed with their own projects. Indio Solari did so with a new band known as "Los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado" (The Air Conditioning Fundamentalists), yet performing the most iconic songs from "Los Redonditos de Ricota", hence you may find two (or more) versions of each of these songs, as they move from band to band and bands formations. This history went on for 40+ decades, with 3 generations of followers. As Solari aged, he got Parkinson and his show began to scarse, and eventually he made a single presentation per year that for every fan knowledge, it could be the last, hence the amount of people attending these shows that they called "masses". They needed to do it in huge spaces, often in towns, like this one with an attendance of half million people.

We are very passionate people and what I believe is that, since our economy is one of the worst in the world, we lead very stressful lives so we need to let off steam and that's one of the ways we do it 😂 You can type "Argentina best crowd ever" here on UA-cam to see parts of concerts from these bands I'm talking about. The first and only concert of that band that i could go was that one. It was in a town called Tandil, and the crowd was about 200k people.
An amazing experience.
Nowadays Indio has some health issues (Parkinson) and is 74yo, wich means he was 68yo at that concert. I think there will be no more concerts like that one.

El Indio Solari fue líder de la banda "Patricio Rey y los Redonditos de Ricota" (Los Redondos), y luego se formó a "Los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado", pero con el Indio Solari siempre quedó este legendario apodo de Los Redondos que tienen su propia religión, en este concierto se sabe que hubo más de 300.000 personas pero no fue el de más concurrencia de ellos, de hecho los conciertos aquí se realizaban en hipódromos porque los estadios de fútbol quedaban chicos para tanta demanda. The story of the band starts at 1976 with Patricio Rey y sus redonditos (AKA Los Redondos), they iniciate in the underground, recording the first album in 1985. With the past of the time they will become at the most masive and icononic band of Argentina.
In 2001, the band split apart making three diferents band.
*The singer and songwriter Indio Solari create the Fundamentalistas of Aire acondicionado.
In 2018 Indio as frontmen made his late show (at the moment) in Olavarria, the band Fundamentalistas continues without him making shows with songs of Indio as solo artist and song from his time in Los Redondos. By the way, Indio is now with another project call the Marsupiales. With Fundamentalistas, Indio make 5 albums.
*The Guitarrist and composer Skay Beillinson starts with his solo album "Através del Mar de los sagarzos" in 2002 becoming guitarrist and singer of his projet.
The band at first were The followers of the Khali Goddess and now it´s call The Fakirs. As solo artist Skay made 7 albums.
*In 2018 aprox, a new band of formers musicians of Patricio Rey iniciates his own route.
The Bassman and plastic artist Semilla Bucciarelli, the saxophonist Sergio Dawi, the Baterist Walter Sidotti, and one of the firsts guitarrist Tito Fargo, create Los Decoradores making shows as Kermesse Redonda. In all the Shows the band invites singers to fill the spot of Indio.
Lately Walter left the band taking his place Hernan Arraberri a musicians in los Redondos era.
Is important to mention Los Redondos were more far away of a Rock band it self. At the first period, the shows had poets, dancers, and perfomist, like Rolling Thunder Revue the Bob Dylan tour.
The stetic of the albums of Los Redondos and Skay were made by a plastic artist call Rocambole (the simbols of Los Redondos were in tatoos, flags and walls all over argentina), for the other hand Indio make his own arts in his albums.

The bald guy with glasses is called Carlos "El Indio" Solari. He was the singer of a band called "Patricio Rey y sus redonditos de ricota" (AKA "Los redondos"). They started in the late 70's as a small independent cult band and started growing and gaining a bigger and bigger following by word of mouth. By the late 90's they were selling out stadiums and there were not venues large enough to hold all the fans attending to a concert. They separated in 2001 and Solari pursued a solo carrer with his backing band known as "Los fundamentalistas del aire acondicionado". Both songs you've reacted to (this one and "Ji ji ji") are Redondos' classics.
