Nicki's manager at the time, Manny, had to write notes down for them to go off of because they didn't do the research themselves... Let's be real... They were trying to treat this interview how they do most, rely on Charla's jokes, banter, and b.s. and hope that he say enough to pass up enough time and Nicki wasn't having it....

I don't blame Nicki at all for her behavior in this interview. It was very unprofessional and insulting that they were so ill prepared for her. At the end of the day you know the guest, in most cases is going there to promote something and as a musical artist, you have to listen to her music.
This whole interview was so unprofessional it was hard to watch without getting mad. But Nicki tried her best to keep her cool and make this interview professional. They really need to do better at interviewing artist.

I sat here & watched the whole video beginning to end & I can see how unprepared & non-motivated the breakfast club was. Instead of interviewing an artist about her craft they literally just goofed off & didn’t seem to care. At the time, this woman released an album & wanted you guys to acknowledge it but instead she wasted her time literally just sitting there while everyone has fun. You could tell she has a busy schedule. I’m not the biggest Nicki fan but she had every right to set them straight! I’m assuming this was her last appearance w/ them? I’m not sure.
