Hey guys! Today's vlog is a day in my life at law school. I tried the best i could to get little clips of everything i do throughout the day. This was a thursday where i only have 1 morning class then a long break and then law review at night. I do some homework in between classes as well as work on UA-cam related things. Enjoy!

I am in the third year of law school and I have completely transformed from a shy, never talking back to anyone, always calm girl to an intimidating, never dealing with others' nuisance, sometimes even sarcastic person. And I have nervous breakdowns almost always when I'm alone by myself. Pursuing this career has completely cost my health, to be honest. Yet I can't even say it was worth it.
Wait I’m want to pursue law and I’m never talk and am super shy to people and don’t talk to someone unless they talk to me first and get anxiety if I have to public speak but I wanna improve that if I go into law do you think it helps get more confident tho

Update: it’s June 3rd I’m going into sophomore year, and I still have the same hope and dream. I’m on my debate team for public forum and I Am a quarter finalist at nationals. Debate I believe is similar to law, it takes up too much time, its of high intellect, and it’s something I love. I’m going to take a law and pshych class next year!
Update: it’s July 17/ 2021 I’m about to go into junior year and I still love law, but I’m now getting interested in the psychological aspects of it. I have recently gone thru some life changes and they have made me talk an interest in psychology. I’m currently reading “psychoanalytic diagnosis” by Nancy McWilliams and it is great. Although there isn’t much law in it, it is very psychological based and evaluates personality types which I believe could be used in cases and what not lol.

I’m a lawyer student in China and I suck at arguing m,sometimes I think I chose the wrong major...
Honestly you do need to be good at arguing, but a lot of it is numbers and reading.

When she got that mascara on her eye and didn’t wipe it off right away honestly irritated me so glad she eventually did it
I belive she didnt do it right away because its less messy if you wipe it when its dry
If you wait for it to dry, it'll come off much easier!

Omg I’m a Junior right now for my undergrad in Legal Studies and as soon as I saw the Bluebook I was like “I FEEL YOU!!!!!!!”
I clench my jaw too! I do it at night but it always hits me in the afternoon and the headaches are the WORST!!

Great vlog! One way to relax your jaw throughout the day is by putting the tip of your tongue behind your two front teeth of alveolar ridge to relax everything. Not a law student just a speech path grad student 🤓 But your videos are always motivating!

Had the jaw clenching problem too! I went to see a doctor about it bc it had gotten to the point where i couldn't eat without pain. Turns out my jawmuscle was inflamed and i needed to take pills to reduce te swelling 3 times a day..my jaw still to this day makes a loud cracking sound when i tend to use it too much..hope you don't have the same issue tho! Loved the upload!❤

About that jaw situation, I use a "night guard" you can wear it all day if you want, it's like a silicon retainer

I want to be a lawyer because I’m good at arguing, pretty persuasive and quick on my feet. My mind easily takes what someone is saying and turns it into what I’m trying to say which is good and bad some times😂. Are these good skills to have as a lawyer?

Hey I’m a law student too. How far do you live from your university? It takes me an hour to drive there and another hour back each day. It’s exhautsting but I think I’ll try listening to audiobooks too from now on.

What made you decide to go to law school? Do you worry about finding a good paying job and the debt after you graduate? I want to go to law school but the more I research the more I get discourage. A lot of people are saying it’s a waste of time and money, but it’s the only route I can imagine myself doing, especially with my undergrad degree. Any suggestions or thoughts?
No I don't really worry about finding a job. A lot of career paths have the same issue, with the exception of the medical and engineering field. At the end of the day I want to do something I'm passionate about, which is the law. If you aren't passionate about law, then maybe it isn't worth it. But it is something to think about.

Give yourself opportunities to discover your true self at all details ! Maybe you have undiscovered talents or skills that can make a huge difference in the work domaine , maybe you’ll find features that would make you choose another subject than law..I used to think that I was made for desk jobs but when I discovered that i was great with speaking and debating I knew that desk jobs weren’t my thing anymore so allow yourself to know yourself more and if you’re really into law and have all the features required then go for it ! If not just find your thing so you’ll be the best at it and remember when you’re using your skills and gifts at their best you’re the best , when you’re the best success comes easy money will follow

I'm considering law school. What should I expect if I get in?
I wanna ask.. does being a lawyer requires us to be mentally strong and brave? I've always wanted to be a lawyer ever since I was 9 (after watching a kdrama lol) but I'm starting to question my choice now that I'm 14. Im not shy or passive , I'm good at arguing and always won in the end (heh). I also have alot of confidence but Im always on the verge of crying whenever someone yelled at me. So I'm not sure if I can be a good lawyer

What university do you go to/law school. I want to pursue a career in law, and I have my choice for undergrad but I haven't found any graduate universities other than McGill.

I want to be a lawyer as well. I want to attend Harvard. I'm still deciding if I should do criminal justice or immigration.
Do immigration. That's my goal as well. There is such a small small small amount of immigration lawyers. It's very sad, those poor people end up going through mass trials due to the lack amd sometimes receive no representation (not even young children 3-4). It's very sad to think about and they need hard working and dedicated people to help.
