After watching the video, the title makes more sense to me. Because I was thinking how would someone's house be on fire and they are already outside but not their dogs. I kept on thinking the person would be in the house too when it caught on fire and could not imagine how someone would not get their pet. But if someone is coming back and sees their house on fire, whether they would go in to get their pet out or not is a better question. Because it is one thing to run out of a burning building with your dog or cat you can see is still alive, but would someone risk going into a burning building to save a pet that might have already passed away from the smoke or the flames? I want to say I would, but I have never been in a situation like that. I just hope I have enough courage and luck if that day ever comes. 🏘🔥🐈⬛
I recently had a house fire at the end of 2023 and my dogs followed me into the room that the fire started in and thankfully they both followed me outside
I'm disabled and house bound so the idea I would be away and a fire starts is so alien to me. But 100% I would drag myself into the house if it was on fire and they hadn't rescued the dogs yet. I have a doggy door so I'm sure at least one of my 5 dogs would use it but I have a couple who are hiders and a couple of the dogs are guarders who would likely stay with the others if they were in danger but hiding instead of escaping. But I would also drag myself in even if the dogs were accounted for cuz I have 3 pet snakes who would definitely go unnoticed by firefighters cuz they stay in a cage 24-7 and don't make noises, and they aren't as common as pets and some people are weirdly scared of them. I have emergency enclosures to put them in if we had to run for any reason. But yeah definitely one of my biggest fears is an emergency happening while I'm home alone cuz even on a rare good day I struggle with getting around and my body reacts especially badly to things like smoke. So I have been trying to prepare like a grab bag of sorts where I can just grab the snakes put them in their go tub grab treats and go outback to get everyone out.
I have no family. My dogs are my family. In a heartbeat, would I do the same thing or die trying. I have a 15 yr old pomchi that I love more than myself. Been there for me when people have not. Oh heck yeah I'd run into the house to save him he'd do the same for me.
The homeowner's kids being in the home were never a factor. So it seems the host of this channel never answered the question. Nobody said anything about kids being inside the home @ the time the fire started. I would go inside to save my dogs. The cats would be a different story bc they would probably be hiding.
If it'd engulfed in flames then say a prayer for em. Hopefully they died of smoke instead of burning to death. But I wouldn't risk my life for the animals. Some will. I wouldn't. Just take it as a loss and move on👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼. It's tough but a part of life we all have to deal with eventually. The death of loved ones I mean. Just gotta move forward as hard as it is sometimes.
