    I thought you did an excellent job, explaining the smallest details and what to look forward to when I begin my rebuilding of my pneumatic gun. I have three of them by the way.👍🏽👍🏽🙏🏽

    Great video Trull! I have an old Craftsman Brad/Staple gun and when I recently plugged in the air hose it shot 5 times and quit. I got on the sears parts website, found my model and then nothing was available. Searching more online I discovered eReplacementparts.com. Found my model, selected three parts based on their recommendations for different specific tool failure issues. After watching your video I feel confident I can get it working again. Thanks!

    Succinctly and clearly explained. Your remark about a "missing" part gave me some hope. I have a new, unused (apparently) Metabo pinner that I got cheap in an auction, which must have a manufacturing defect, as it leaks massively out the exhaust as soon as it is connected to the air supply. Depressing the trigger stops the leak until it's released again. I'm hoping it's a part missing or damaged on assembly, and not a casting defect.

      @davidecasassa8679 get a rebuild kit! I'd replace all of the o-rings and such, but it sounds like it might be in the trigger mechanism (those parts should be in the kit). Good luck!

    Very well done! Now I'm less anxious about tackling my two non-firing Porter Cables.

      Thanks! Just take it one o-ring at a time. Piece of cake!

    I have this stapler NS and the tension pin that allows for the staple housing to open disappeared. As a result the gun is now jammed. I have been able to find a pin that will work but I need to know how to stack the latch and pin back in place. The proper arrangement is imperative to gun operation. Please help do you have a film that shows how this is done

      @joealibrandi Sorry Joe, I don't. Have you checked the Porter Cable website? Sometimes, the parts diagram helps, too.

    What was that amber colored ring for on table.

    • @TheTrullGallery
      @TheTrullGallery  3 місяці тому

      The amber ring was the old ring and it was replaced with the clear ring you can see early in the video. If memory serves, it goes up near the collar at the top of the piston. ...I think.

    I have an old mini stapler that won't work. Model 2118/29. Probably 20 years old my guess.
    Has been sitting for 4 years unused. Now it just makes a little pup pup noise when I pull the trigger and it has no safety mechanism Because it was made that way. I opened it up to be sure there was oil lubrication and wiped it out but it's not working.
    I have googled this particular gun but no repair information.
    Anybody have any idea what I can do ?

      Sounds like a bad o-ring in there somewhere. The trick is figuring out which one. Then you just need to find a replacement...
