Hiya Papaya! I was the Yunaka cosplayer and one of the Galdera soloists. I'm so, so, so overwhelmingly grateful for this experience. I was classicly trained in college but haven't sung in a setting like this in over ten years, so this was simultaneously rewarding and validating for me. Can't wait to perform with all of you beautiful people all over again next year, because there's no way I'm not making this a staple of my magfest experience after this :)

Opening our balcony door and waking up to the halo trio brought our entire room to tears. We all had goosebumps and stood stunned on our little overlook. Thank you to everyone who put this amazing concert on, you're all amazing and so talented.
I'm the Keqing in the choir! I've been telling everyone I know about this concert for so long, and wouldn't miss it for the world! I quite literally can't wait for the next one! It was an honor to perform with all of you ♥️♥️♥️
I was the red engie on trumpet 🎺! This was an incredible time and sparked me picking my horn back up. Thank you to all the organizers, conductors, composers, camera people, sound and A/V and of course the players. You all are incredible 🥲
So glad my arrangement of Black Knight 2000 got to be performed as part of this! Sad I couldn't be playing with y'all this round (since I arrived after the last rehearsal) but hopefully I'll be in that choir in January 2025.
You folks did SO well! I absolutely love that this lets so many people share in the fun of making music at MAGFest, and what an exciting and ambitious set to put together so quickly! Your soloists especially were fantastic, but it's just a solid performance all round. Well done to everybody!
this is by far my favorite concert that i've ever performed in - EVER. i've wanted to play the chrono trigger main theme and snake eater in a concert setting since high school (i would play the snake eater stinger fanfare on trumpet as an in-joke with my friends in band class), and to get both songs in one set alongside others like Halo felt like a fever dream. shoutouts to everyone else that participated in this, y'all killed it!! super pumped for the next one :)

See all those sousaphones? Not those, but the random gold bell sticking up in front of them? That's me. Can't wait to do it again in January!

The Community Orchestra puts out a sign up / interest form at some point prior, so keep an eye out for that.
