Excercises that give most data: 1. Hanging leg lift 2. Bridge Excercises for addressing the most common deficiencies: 1. Jeffereson Curl 2. Elevated Bridge 3. Handstand Exercise for massive biceps 1. High Volume Rope Climb (build slowly to avoid tendonitis)
I can only imagine the efforti it took you to do this kind of stuff. Really awesome stuff man.. It makes the impact of the podcast atleast 10 times better.. Super stuff !!!
Pike Pulses! The description Ferris gave on the podcast had my brain twisted in knots trying to visualize the movement. For this one video visual I'd give you 10 thumbs up. Thank you a million times, for posting these images.
literally found this minutes after completing the podcast, in search of some visual references. You, an utter legend, have got them all in one video! Amazing. thanks very much!
I'm 79 years old and took a Gymnastic course from Gymnastic Body a few years ago. I bought the rings from them and still use them. I just wanted to thank coach Sommer for explaining why we need to to get the rings out past parallel. I have had a hard time with this. Now I know why I need to work on it. Thank you for the video.
Thank you, I am currently listening to the Tim Ferris / coach Sommers podcast and I searched UA-cam looking for the exercises drills and found your wonder Post.
I would like to see more gymnastics training on YT. I myself is getting to old to do more than ring pushups and hanging rows. But even these things, which everyone can do, are in some ways superior to what most people do with weights. But you have to know how to do these things progressivly. And that's where YT could help.
The yoga handstand isn't flawed. The static form is the same in both yoga and gymnastics. When they flow, however, most yogi follow handstand with poses that ask for a curved spine, like scorpion, hence the variant form. Very informative video regardless, i'm glad I stumbled upon it. Will check out the full podcast. Thanks for sharing, great editing!
