During that time, if your caste's population gets lower, then goons will slaughter your family as there will be less member to fight them. And hence population shot up. Only people of particular caste are protected by their caste only. Other communities don't help. So, to survive, you need to have a large population. Why was fertility rate of Punjab, gujrat, maharastra was 4? Please do some research on your own.

No man, Lalu is not responsible for this condition he may be a part of the issue, since 2005 BJP/JDU are ruling your state.... The problem lies in people who are not ready to accept the reality... They are still satisfied with "sabse jyada ias bihar se hote hai" Which is also factually incorrect now... I have seen Biharis applying blades on seat of train just for fun...
@@kumarpallavchitransh4397 Bhai come to Bihar and you will understand what he actually did. Due to his preference for his own Caste People every Caste Community started working for their own community only. He planted Castism by giving advantage to his own Caste people (Yadav) who were completely fearless that even if they will kill anyone Lalu is there to protect him and Lalu protected them actually. This is still prevalent today, just see his son's politics and on what it is based, you will understand.
