You can’t compare the rappers because they all have their unique flows and vibes! Agust D (Suga) is fast with the flow, RM is known for his INCREDIBLE Lyrics and his flow is crazy fast in his song >Joke< as well. Jhope has a very unique sounding rap voice, often rapping quite melodic and is known to visualise the world in his music. His songs have a very dreamy and “foreign world” kind of vibe! BTS’ rappers are very different but that makes them all good at the same time! To understand this, I’d recommend the 2 rapper’s songs: Jhope Airplane and RM Joke.
All of them have amazing lyrics tho, that's why we can't say who is the better rapper. There was one post I saw on twitter about how Yoongi (Suga/Agust D) tells you you're a piece of shit, Namjoon (RM) will explain exactly why you're a piece of shit and Hoseok (j-hope/hobi) will dance on the sound of his enemies' sobs. I think it describes them all really well. As for songs to check out besides their complete mixtapes (D-2, Agust D, Mono, RM, Hope World), the Cyphers (1-4), Ddaeng, Outro Tear, Outro Her and UGH are also very good suggestions. I also recommend their official solo songs included in BTS albums. People have their own opinions of course, but many people have given him the title of “Eminem of South Korea” because of his “Tongue Technology™️” 😂. Out of the rap line, suga (aka agust d) is more my style but rm and jhope are just as good. I guess the thing with suga is that he’s very raw and is known for speaking on taboo subjects particularly in South Korea (RM and JHope as well) which intrigues a large audience. Agust d has two mixtapes: Agust D, D2 RM has two mixtapes: RM, mono Jhope has one mixtape: Hope World As you listen to their solo stuff, you realize that they all kinda have their own unique styles and don’t really sound like each other. The “best rapper” is really just who you want it to be since they all shine in their own ways. I’ll suggest that you react to the Cypher series (Cyphers 1-4), DDAENG, Outro: Tear and UGH! if you wanna get a feel for the rap line as a whole!
Funny you would say that because when I first saw BTS (MicDrop mv), it strongly reminded me of the first time I heard "Stan." It was playing over the speaker in a clothing store in Japan. Stopped dead in my tracks and said, "WHAT is this?!" Same reaction when I first encountered BTS.
When he says this KPOP category isn’t big enough for me is him calling out the haters who said he sold out from being an underground rapper for the glamour of KPOP idols and his credibility as a rapper was gone. Basically his skills are amazing & no matter what “they” say he’s bigger than the box they tried to block him into.

I really enjoy your reactions to our boys, you seem to genuinely like what you are hearing and that’s all we wish for newcomers but with that being said please don’t ask for likes just to react to them in general. If you are respectful and genuine in your reactions, Subs and likes will come. But asking for a set amount of likes rubs me the wrong way, it’s basically threatening us that if you don’t get the likes you are satisfied with, you won’t react to them. I think you totally need to see RM's Joke which is an absolutely vicious diss track at a specific rapper who had dissed him publicly. It will show you Suga is not the only one with mad skills. J Hope is also fantastic but a different type of rapper. If you watch Outro Tear Live at Wembley Stadium is will give you a good idea how all three rap in performance. It is amazing.
There IS usually "that one that stands out," but that is NOT true of BTS. Each and every one of them is this talented, but in such completely different ways. Thank You for this reaction! Many people have their favorite rapper in BTS, but I just can't with these 3 members. Each one of them brings their own unique talent to the game that it is hard. RM - Analyzes the world (IQ148) his lyrical wordplay is top notch. Suga/Agust D - Criticizes the world he tells you what he thinks & don't care if it makes you mad. JHope - Envisions the world as a better place. He brings a brightness, vibrant color, charisma to the stage. Put them together & they are incredible. You may have been told this already, but for so long "KPop/Idol" music in S.Korea has not been considered "real music". JHope was a street dancer & learned to rap from RM & Suga when he joined the group. RM & Suga were underground artists. When they joined BTS & became Idols, the underground scene turned their backs on them, said they "betrayed" rap & hip hop. The Idol Industry said they weren't talented enough, looked good enough and said they would never make it. They proved them ALL wrong and many of their songs punch back at both "worlds" and all those people that told them they wouldn't amount to anything. These guys literally went out on the streets and handed out flyers, asking people to come to their "free" concert to get people to try out their music. MAD RESPECT! suga (agust d) was actually criticized for 'leaving' the underground hip hop scene in Korea which he was in before debuting in BTS as a kpop idol, so a lot of the lyrics in this mixtape talking about this

And they do have some "boy band" type tracks but they're not cheesy or about girls like you'd expect. They do a lot of genres because they contribute to writing/composing their own shit
Facts: They compose, arrange and even produce their songs. They're just talented. 7 members, with 4 vocalists, and 3 rappers. All of them are good in dancing. RM is their leader and he's extremely fluent in english. SUGA and RM usually produce their music. I hope u watch a lot of bts' videos you'll be amazed. Thankyou!
The BTS rapline is unique, and while people have their favourites, it's difficult to say any one of them is the "best". In terms of getting to know them all, I do recommend listening to Persona (RM), Shadow (Suga/Agust D), and Ego(J-Hope) (in that order), along with UGH to hear them all in their most recent solo and rapline-only tracks. Also the Cypher series (1-4, plus their are live "medleys" where they mash up several of them into one performance) really does show off their individual skills on a top level. As an FYI, BTS's annual "festa" begins tomorrow and will go for a couple weeks, during which they typically drop at least a couple tracks - for free, not for purchase, it's the band's birthday, and they give gifts back to their fans to celebrate. One of *the* top rapline songs in BTS's discography was a festa song - Ddaeng. I see a few people mentioning the Who Is BTS video, and while that's a great video, it's good to know that it was made in 2018 and a lot of it is either dated info or just incomplete info.
VIP For songs like Ddaeng and UGH you need to follow up your reaction (on the same or a follow up video) to DKDKTV’s Explained by a Korean series. Especially in Ddaeng you get to see the brilliance of RM’s writing and wordplay.
The three rappers of BTS have three different 'styles' in my opinion: Yoongi/Suga/Agust D: Hard hitting, fast raps, flow switches, inspired by western artists like Em, has depression and social anxiety and talks about it. (The Last by him is my favorite song) J-Hope/Hoseok/Hobi: Almost a jazz-beat rap, he adds funk and soul and groove to his art. He's not the best lyricist but he makes you 'vibe', you know? Namjoon/RM: Has something to SAY. He tells stories. He can make a rap slow or fast and take you on a journey. (Moonchild for example) Then there's Jungkook who was a rapper here and there for certain BTS tracks, he's good at everything including rapping, he picks up beats well but if you want to hear him rap look at earlier BTS tracks.

I'm late but this guy is fast. His fastest rap is 11.4 syllables per second, averaging at 7-8.3 for most of his songs. Twista who entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 1992 for being the fastest rapper rapped at 11.2 syllables per second. And Eminem's Godzilla is at 11.3 syllables per second while Rap God is at 9.6 👀 Fun Fact: in one of their interviews in America, Suga (Agust D) revealed that one of his hobbies was performing Rap God at karaokes 😂

There is no best rapper in BTS. All of the rappers have their own thing and express themselves differently and like doing certain rap styles. RM’s lyrics are always so beautiful and make me have a new take on the world while making the rap sound do good. He can also talk his shit when he wants to. And it’s honestly the best. J-Hope has a brighter style of rap then both RM and Suga aka Agust D. He has a way of making me feel so happy through his rapping and also likes to include some more vocally heavy rapping. He sounds very “human” and brings such a nice touch to his rapping. Yoongi aka Suga aka Agust D usually has a more badass rap sound and talks his shit. But he also has nice and uplifting songs that are so beautiful. He has a way with words that make it sound like he is just venting to you, especially when he is rapping about personal matters. Yoongi has been through a lot and uses his experiences to help other people through his music. Not that the other members haven’t been through a lot to, I mean RM and Yoongi were underground rappers, J-Hope was a Street dancer, Jin was an actor, Jungkook was a middle schooler, Taehyung was a “farmer” or a normal kid that didn’t have a lot of money and Jimin was a contemporary dance student. They all had/have a very tough life and I respect them all for it. But Yoongi has a way with words that amazes me every time I hear him. Their rap styles are very different and I love each and everyone of them like how RM does his mad rapping skills and then sings the Korean national anthem to the ARMY when he’s drunk. And how Hobi aka J-Hope brings so much happiness and skill in everything he does on and off camera. And how Yoongi is a bad bitch one second and then a little meow meow the next. They are all amazing and I love all of them so much. Also don’t forget that the vocalists are hella amazing and are some of the most talented people on this earth. When it comes to the three BTS rappers is really not about who stands out, it comes down to personal tastes from my point of view. Suga is got the speed and is rather aggressive in his delivery, he is also very blunt, there’s no sugar coating happening when it comes to his lyrics. RM’s rap, while he can also rap pretty fast if the situation calls for it, is more focused on smart wordplay and he uses language (taking advantage of his fluency in English) as one more layer of complexity to his lyrics, for rhyming and flow. J-Hope, while he might not be as fast as Suga and RM, I have to say that his rapping is my personal favorite, because of the ease with which he can adapt his flow to the beat of the track they are rapping to. J-Hope is not only a rapper but he is also a vocalist and the group’s main dancer, thus I feel like his rapping doesn’t only have a rhythm but a melody to it too; his cadence is often an “echo” of the beat, and that is very pleasing for my ear to hear. Like harmonizing with a beat using his flow 😬 All three of them have bars and their own thoughts that they wish to express with different ways to do so, so you can either decide you have a preference for one of them while appreciating the other two as well or you can just stan all three of them equally to keep you from having an existential crisis while trying to decide which one is your favorite 😂

People have their own opinions of course, but many people have given him the title of “Eminem of South Korea” because of his “Tongue Technology™️” 😂. Out of the rap line, suga (aka agust d) is more my style but rm and jhope are just as good. I guess the thing with suga is that he’s very raw and is known for speaking on taboo subjects particularly in South Korea (RM and JHope as well) which intrigues a large audience.

RM has two mixtapes: RM, mono
Jhope has one mixtape: Hope World
As you listen to their solo stuff, you realize that they all kinda have their own unique styles and don’t really sound like each other. The “best rapper” is really just who you want it to be since they all shine in their own ways.
I’ll suggest that you react to the Cypher series (Cyphers 1-4), DDAENG, Outro: Tear and UGH! if you wanna get a feel for the rap line as a whole!
Funny you would say that because when I first saw BTS (MicDrop mv), it strongly reminded me of the first time I heard "Stan." It was playing over the speaker in a clothing store in Japan. Stopped dead in my tracks and said, "WHAT is this?!" Same reaction when I first encountered BTS.

When he says this KPOP category isn’t big enough for me is him calling out the haters who said he sold out from being an underground rapper for the glamour of KPOP idols and his credibility as a rapper was gone. I think you totally need to see RM's Joke which is an absolutely vicious diss track at a specific rapper who had dissed him publicly. It will show you Suga is not the only one with mad skills. J Hope is also fantastic but a different type of rapper. If you watch Outro Tear Live at Wembley Stadium is will give you a good idea how all three rap in performance. It is amazing.
There IS usually "that one that stands out," but that is NOT true of BTS. Each and every one of them is this talented, but in such completely different ways. Many people have their favorite rapper in BTS, but I just can't with these 3 members. Each one of them brings their own unique talent to the game that it is hard.
RM - Analyzes the world (IQ148) his lyrical wordplay is top notch.
Suga/Agust D - Criticizes the world he tells you what he thinks & don't care if it makes you mad.
JHope - Envisions the world as a better place. He brings a brightness, vibrant color, charisma to the stage.
Put them together & they are incredible. You may have been told this already, but for so long "KPop/Idol" music in S.Korea has not been considered "real music". JHope was a street dancer & learned to rap from RM & Suga when he joined the group. RM & Suga were underground artists. When they joined BTS & became Idols, the underground scene turned their backs on them, said they "betrayed" rap & hip hop. The Idol Industry said they weren't talented enough, looked good enough and said they would never make it. They proved them ALL wrong and many of their songs punch back at both "worlds" and all those people that told them they wouldn't amount to anything. These guys literally went out on the streets and handed out flyers, asking people to come to their "free" concert to get people to try out their music. MAD RESPECT!

Facts: They compose, arrange and even produce their songs. They're just talented. 7 members, with 4 vocalists, and 3 rappers. All of them are good in dancing. RM is their leader and he's extremely fluent in english. SUGA and RM usually produce their music. I hope u watch a lot of bts' videos you'll be amazed. Thankyou!
The BTS rapline is unique, and while people have their favourites, it's difficult to say any one of them is the "best". In terms of getting to know them all, I do recommend listening to Persona (RM), Shadow (Suga/Agust D), and Ego(J-Hope) (in that order), along with UGH to hear them all in their most recent solo and rapline-only tracks. Also the Cypher series (1-4, plus their are live "medleys" where they mash up several of them into one performance) really does show off their individual skills on a top level.
As an FYI, BTS's annual "festa" begins tomorrow and will go for a couple weeks, during which they typically drop at least a couple tracks - for free, not for purchase, it's the band's birthday, and they give gifts back to their fans to celebrate. One of *the* top rapline songs in BTS's discography was a festa song - Ddaeng.
I see a few people mentioning the Who Is BTS video, and while that's a great video, it's good to know that it was made in 2018 and a lot of it is either dated info or just incomplete info.

The three rappers of BTS have three different 'styles' in my opinion:
Yoongi/Suga/Agust D: Hard hitting, fast raps, flow switches, inspired by western artists like Em, has depression and social anxiety and talks about it. (The Last by him is my favorite song)
J-Hope/Hoseok/Hobi: Almost a jazz-beat rap, he adds funk and soul and groove to his art. He's not the best lyricist but he makes you 'vibe', you know?
Namjoon/RM: Has something to SAY. He tells stories. He can make a rap slow or fast and take you on a journey. (Moonchild for example)
Then there's Jungkook who was a rapper here and there for certain BTS tracks, he's good at everything including rapping, he picks up beats well but if you want to hear him rap look at earlier BTS tracks.

I'm late but this guy is fast. His fastest rap is 11.4 syllables per second, averaging at 7-8.3 for most of his songs. Twista who entered the Guinness Book of World Records in 1992 for being the fastest rapper rapped at 11.2 syllables per second. And Eminem's Godzilla is at 11.3 syllables per second while Rap God is at 9.6 👀
Fun Fact: in one of their interviews in America, Suga (Agust D) revealed that one of his hobbies was performing Rap God at karaokes 😂
suga aka agust d (yoongi) is my bias but so is all of them. its natural to think that 'one out of 7 of them must be good right? it has to be like that right?' its because we have been told to think this way, that theres only one whos really good and others are just not that good. thats not the case with bts though... when i got into bts last year even i was like this, i thought this one is the best and then i thought no this other one is the best i kept getting suprised by each one of them and 1 year on and i no longer think like that...they all stand out in whatever and everything they do. they all give their 200% when they perform.

There is no best rapper in BTS. All of the rappers have their own thing and express themselves differently and like doing certain rap styles.
RM’s lyrics are always so beautiful and make me have a new take on the world while making the rap sound do good. He can also talk his shit when he wants to. And it’s honestly the best.
J-Hope has a brighter style of rap then both RM and Suga aka Agust D. He has a way of making me feel so happy through his rapping and also likes to include some more vocally heavy rapping. He sounds very “human” and brings such a nice touch to his rapping.
Yoongi aka Suga aka Agust D usually has a more badass rap sound and talks his shit. But he also has nice and uplifting songs that are so beautiful. He has a way with words that make it sound like he is just venting to you, especially when he is rapping about personal matters. Yoongi has been through a lot and uses his experiences to help other people through his music. Not that the other members haven’t been through a lot to, I mean RM and Yoongi were underground rappers, J-Hope was a Street dancer, Jin was an actor, Jungkook was a middle schooler, Taehyung was a “farmer” or a normal kid that didn’t have a lot of money and Jimin was a contemporary dance student. They all had/have a very tough life and I respect them all for it. But Yoongi has a way with words that amazes me every time I hear him.
Their rap styles are very different and I love each and everyone of them like how RM does his mad rapping skills and then sings the Korean national anthem to the ARMY when he’s drunk. And how Hobi aka J-Hope brings so much happiness and skill in everything he does on and off camera. And how Yoongi is a bad bitch one second and then a little meow meow the next. They are all amazing and I love all of them so much. Also don’t forget that the vocalists are hella amazing and are some of the most talented people on this earth. When it comes to the three BTS rappers is really not about who stands out, it comes down to personal tastes from my point of view. Suga is got the speed and is rather aggressive in his delivery, he is also very blunt, there’s no sugar coating happening when it comes to his lyrics. RM’s rap, while he can also rap pretty fast if the situation calls for it, is more focused on smart wordplay and he uses language (taking advantage of his fluency in English) as one more layer of complexity to his lyrics, for rhyming and flow. J-Hope, while he might not be as fast as Suga and RM, I have to say that his rapping is my personal favorite, because of the ease with which he can adapt his flow to the beat of the track they are rapping to. J-Hope is not only a rapper but he is also a vocalist and the group’s main dancer, thus I feel like his rapping doesn’t only have a rhythm but a melody to it too; his cadence is often an “echo” of the beat, and that is very pleasing for my ear to hear. Like harmonizing with a beat using his flow 😬
All three of them have bars and their own thoughts that they wish to express with different ways to do so, so you can either decide you have a preference for one of them while appreciating the other two as well or you can just stan all three of them equally to keep you from having an existential crisis while trying to decide which one is your favorite 😂
