Isn't that the truth. I think that's what makes a strong and confident woman. The ability to find the humor as the humor is intended! The fact that she was cracking up laughing on the stage at the statements, she knows there's a truth to the humor sent into exaggeration for humor, and it's just that..HUMOR! She knew it. I think that's what makes her such a lovable, admirable but mostly a confident woman. She would have never received a "DIVA" documentary unto herself otherwise. I completely agree with your statement.
I remember watching this when it first aired, they cheered longer than expected when Ana sang the Titanic theme, and it showed her amazing timing to switch into being goofy and sing the next notes badly on purpose. I'd love to watch the entire sketch again .💖
I'm so glad she has such a good sense of humor. From what I've seen of her, she's very down to earth considering she's been world famous for most of her life. Good for her
loves it! I wish they would've shown the SNL bit Ana Gasteyer did for one of the VH1 Divas Live shows (from the intro maybe?) where her and 2 other actresses from SNL parodied Mariah & Celine, and they were trying to order pizza....Celine picks up the phone and says "pizza?" -- just freaking HILARIOUS!!! I remember seeing this years and years ago when they aired the VH1 Divas special on TV, but for whatever reason that comedy sketch was left off the DVD pressing, and I've never been able to chase down a copy to see it again :( I would literally pay money to find someone who has that sketch though!
Tell that to Macy Gray. Wayland did a parody of the I Try video at the MTV VMA 2000 which she was there and she wasn’t happy with it that she flipped them off
But where is the second part of this video where she invites the other Divas, Mariah and Shania? I'm not talking about the one where the 3 of them are in a couch watching Divas live 1999, but the second part of this video. It used to be in UA-cam and I've been looking for it for ages. Anyone here that has the entire scene? Thanks.
There are actually two parts. One with the VH1 divas and another where she sings duets and tries to overshine her duet partners. Wish I could find the full sketches.
@@AviChetriArtwork It's a joke, and it clearly didn't bother Celine Dion. Comedians do it to celebrities all the time. It's their job. Rene was like, 30 years older than she was. So SNL called him "her dad." Bullying is only done to people who are perceived as vulnerable. Celine is not.
@@AviChetriArtwork It felt like that to YOU which compared to the feelings of Celine, the SNL audience and the audience at the concert who laughed, really is pretty worthless by comparison!
Celine had a good attitude about the parody. I respect that.
Please welcome my father I mean my husband Rene😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
it gave her additional publicity so why not
In Québec she has been parodied endlessly by many comedians ever since she was a teenager, so she is quite used to it.
I honestly can’t believe Celine hasn’t been a host on SNL herself or at least a musical guest. She’s a natural comedian.
I totally agree with you, she is my favorite.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Damn right
Say what you will about Celine Dion, but she's never been afraid to laugh at herself.

Skoben2000 diva documentary?
@@Skoben2000see also “the greatest hit of Disturbed”. great story
I just watched the documentary about her. I didnt really know too much about her, but in reading I came across this parody. Good on her!!
Ana slayed this!!! Celine even was dying from laughing
She did a nice job singing the intro bit too. I mean obviously it sounded different but it was also-good.
she's so humble as to have her on her concert.
"if they're doing it it's because I must have done something good"
slay queen!!
ternitamas: she's so humble
This is why I love Celine Deon... she has a great sense of humor...
Celine was faking it. She was mad.
@@GVH1305 yeah her reaction was all fake. you can really see it- she hated it

"I am the best singer in da world". Classic

Shows her in a great light that she is willing to laugh at herself like that.

Celine is AMAZING!!
Having a sense of humor about yourself is so important. I love that she even got an identical outfit for Ana to wear at the MSG concert.
Thank you everybody in da house!

Love that French Canadian accent.
That ending! They did not hold back!
Even Celine Dion approved this parody!
oh, I wish someone could post the full sketch
Back when people actually had a sense of humor and could take a joke!
The good old days!
“36 kid” she even got how Celine doesn’t pronounce plurals 😂😂
jake oneil give them kayak, Larry!
This comedy is brutal! 😂 🤣
yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats what i came here to find too!
hysterical
Celine is a great sport
Goddammit I thought I would be seeing the whole skit!
I remember this originally, I did not like SNL but loved this skit.
If anyone not famous went on like her they would be called a nutter.
Ej! No Parody Witch Celine Dion! She is Favorite!
It's cool when people dont take themselves too seriously
She's Canadian, they can take a joke.
She looks like Kurt Russell
So how long until we see the full sketches of these?
I love celine but she is a lil kooky
Came here to find out how to pronounce her name
I wasn't ready for you to make fun...no.
36 kids 😂
Ana who????
terrible
Not really, no.
Way harsh of a parody. It's on par with bullying.
Avi Chetri shes worth millions. It’s okay
