Landing Las Vegas, Nevada (KLAS - Sunset Arrival) - Gulfstream G650

A beautiful afternoon/evening arriving into the amazing Las Vegas. After our touchdown we have a Nose Wheel Sterring failure and resolve the issue before exiting the runway. It was a known problem that has now been resolved but it was caused when we held the nose of the aircraft off for too long on touch down. We use this technique in good conditions to reduce nose wheel tyre wear.

Watching this at my desk, when everything in the plane stays level but the horizon tilts my brain wants to make me lean against it. Really odd feeling. Great video.

Maybe 2015/2016. Things have changed a bit since then
