@@lingualizer A suggestion: How about you can make simple science questions on Omegle by asking them how many planets there are in the Solar System? Like what you did in geography video.
@@mervin06 Well his thing is geography, so what would be the point? If you want simple science questions, I suggest looking elsewhere.
You're so nice, not knowing the right answer is ok and you try to help them in any way you can so they can learn and not feel bad about it. You're awesome dude.
Eyy u don't have to correct yourself even tough I know there are a lot of ppl which are dumbasses who want to troll u cuz mistakenly didn't wrote the word correctly
"What's the capital of Russia?"
"Moscow. People don't know that?"
*proceeds to not know Portugal is a country*
"below russia" do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?
Yeah its like most of the countries in Asia that are below Russia. Doesn’t really help
If you said just above Russia, is that more or less helpful? It could still be Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Denmark (by virtue of Greenland), the United States (Alaska), or Canada. In conclusion, Russia is big and Cartesian directions don't work well near the poles.
The Moroccan kid is really sweet😂 i love how he was very excited and telling his friends to stop talking💗
Protect the Moroccan boy at any cost.
I once played geoguesser, and I got a place in Morocco, I was so horrified to see that place - slums as they are. Felt really uncomfortably for complaining about the life I live.
@@Camille-hy4pz Bruh, there's no Google Street View in Morocco for you to play Geoguessr
@@Camille-hy4pz what you are talking about ? this country and Egypt are top tourism destination courtiers and its so beautiful , i spent a glories week in it
That Maroccan child gave me hope that some people still have basic Geography knowledge and don't end up in a situation you can't name the capital of Italy...
In Germany we do learn a lot about international geography but not THAT much about topography. I sucked in Geography when I was younger, thought England is a country, imagined that Scotland is where Czechia *actually* is and so on...
I watched some of Peter's videos and got motivated to teach myself with the jetpunk "Countries of the world" quiz, where you name a country and it gets marked on the map. Now I am capable of naming 196 countries, matching them to their flag and showing them on a map - did that with The States too. And I must confess that I feel much better and smarter
@@vitturyyd That's actually not only impressive but very positive too. Congratulations!
9:27 As a Portuguese I feel so sad that people confuse us with Spain, like why, we are clearly not Spanish, we were formed way before Spain. Just sad
Honestly, I would love to see you on the street regardless of the money - just to talk to you. You seem like a very fun, friendly, and approachable person :)
8:41 Moscow, people don't know that?
Also him:
Spain is a country?!
and *Portugal is a country?!*
You probably won’t see this but I just wanted to thank you, I saw your video about trying to name every country which made me want to try it and I’ve been having a blast learning about geography.
There is so much more in geography than just countries, try learning rivers, mountains, forests, islands and who do they belong to,now maybe regions of big states? for example I often hear "that guy is typical russian" that country is so big that people close to china borders wouldn't recognize moscow russians for example, then you get into states like usa which are more divided than you see from the first impresion and learning all their states/provincies/parts and their capitals, my head is exploding when I think that I know tons more than regular person and still 0.5% of the world, It's like history, learning geo is lifetime process
@@lad4830 That's absolutely true. When I was in university, there was a russian girl named Sofia: she looked like a Chinese.
Might you don't get views as of short videos on long videos but I love your long duration videos.
It provides us glimpse of you and your personality.👍
Usually it's the simple ideas that shines the brightest, you're content is so unique, helpful and something anybody can watch this was a brilliant idea! Also can you suggest any book or tips on how to sharpen the geographic knowledge? :)
When you mentioned a country that starts with A but doesn’t end in A, I paused the video, spent about ten minutes thinking, asked everyone in my family if they knew, and then my dad proceeded to look them both up. I got to Andorra before I got to Afghanistan. I admittedly don’t think I would’ve guessed Azerbaijan. That’s one I tend to forget about, but Afghanistan?? I felt so dumb lmao
I was like "wait, is there a country with a name like that?", in case it's a trick question. Then he said Asia, I paused the video and after a bit I got Azerbaijan and couldn't figure out the second one 😂
I felt dumb when I thought Tower of Pisa is in Rome, when it's literally mentioned in the name 🥴
@@aditisk99 I was like "Shoot, I've been to Rome and I had Art History in high school, I don't think it's in Rome...is it? .....Oh...wait a minute." 😂
I got Afghanistan after the question came up again but I don’t think I’d ever have said Azerbaijan without plenty of hints lol

Him: Name a country that starts with a but doesn’t end in A
Me: Albania Dang, Angola shoot, Australia, austria, EVERYTHING ENDS WITH A…. ANTIGUA AND BARBU….
10 minutes later: AZEBAIJANNNNNN 😂😂😂
Crazy how some people actually know that the leaning tower of Pisa is in Italy but then say „I don't know“ when asked about the city. How interesting!! I would have expected it to other way around, people catching on to „Pisa“ but not knowing that that's Italy.
If I may be honest.
I had always thought that Pisa was the name of the leaning tower.
Now I know.
It might be confusing because "of" in English doesn't necessarily have to mean "in"
Every time I watch one of your videos, I'm really impressed how many languages you speak. I would be happy if I could speak nearly half of them 😂
3:30 That Moroccan kid is so smart 🤓
hi ik you get a lot of comments like these but your content has really encouraged me to be more educated about the world, thank you so much for passing your knowledge on :)
There are competing definitions for continents. In German, ‘Amerika’ is a singular noun that stands for the twin continents of North and South America. And in English, ‘North America’ is used both for Canada, USA, Mexico (plus a varying number of islands) as well as for everything north of South America.
Yeah, the formalisms vary. In France I learned that there were 5 continents, Europe, Asia, Africa, America (regrouping North and South) and Oceania. We didn't count Antarctica as one.
@@guillaumelagueyte1019 TBH, at some point in USA they also followed the model of one continent called America. Otherwise their country wouldn't be called United States Of America.
hellooo because of you i got into geography and now i can name every country in africa, asia, and europe :D you piqued my interest in geogrpahy and also language learning
8:23 she got a point XDD
Geography isn’t just about countries and capitals you know. Try asking about mountains, rivers, historical locations, lakes or seas.
People can barely guess countries and capitals correctly let alone lakes and mountains.
Love the content!!! Sad that the most widely considered world model doesn’t take Central America as a actual continental area but as bart of the North hemisphere. (From a Central American)
Bro i am so proud of my moroccan brother he made me laught so hard lol

Knowing the football teams could help you a lot at least in europe⚽️
You could at least name some of the most important cities for every country.

"Isn't Portugal the capital of Spain?" and that, people, is exactly how you piss off someone from Portugal (aka me). also, this same guy a minute before "Moscow...people don't know that?? that's sad as fuck"
We share the pain... O pior é que existem milhares de pessoas que acham que Portugal pertence a Espanha e que não é um país, é mesmo muito triste...
@@andrereis_12 ainda por cima portugal tornou-se um país muito antes da espanha… realmente é triste
Last guy came like he know everything and ends up like he don't even know Portugal 😅.
4:50 I too was always told that these were the continents, America (as a whole), Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania, they didn't tell me about Antarctica either, I found out when I was doing some research myself :/
Oceania is more of a geographical region. Islands don’t belong to continents and can’t form one. Australia is a continent within the region of Oceania
