INK & VELLUM OVERLAYS for ATC & Art Journal Pages

- I found a very cool book from an art gallery exhibition… the dust cover made of vellum with stripes of translucent colours! I used it on several of my Artist Trading Cards… and then I realized I needed to learn how to recreate the cool colourful vellum!
I discovered I could use regular stamp inks on plain vellum to recreate the look!
In this video I show you step by step how to do it! And I give you some idea of what to do with the inked vellum.
The vellum can be used for Junk Journals, Art Journals, collage, Artist Trading Cards, and more!

I love the plaid type inking as an overlay. I will definitely try this. As I was typing a comment I saw the other stencil designs = wonderful. Thank you for the spray adhesive idea too! I have some and never thought to use it for this. Found you on FB doing altered playing cards and love your other videos also!
Thank You so much!🖤🤍 I found the inspiration paper as an art catalogue dust jacket… it was so fun to “recreate” it and take it new places! Also if you let the ink dry between layers you can use masking tape to make thinner lines if you really want to go for a plaid look! Also you can add sharpie lines!!!
