i have some theories too. Theory 1 - Toons and Gardenview We are never explained what toons are. Sure we get descriptions about each toon's personality,but not what actually IS a toon. My theory is that since you need Ichor to buy a toon from Dandy,Ichor might be the substance that creates toons which would explain why Dandy would start the Ichor Operation,he needed more characters to help the company,he realized that he couldn't be a star if he didn't have friends to help him be a star,as much as he hated it,he couldn't make a show without more. This theory is further back supported by the loan you mentioned in your theory 2. Since the Gardenview needed money to fund the show in 1984,this reminds me of one era,Black and white cartoons,this is also supported by the fact that all toons have a vintage skin,which are all in black and white. (Fun fact,since the loan is from 1984 and there is a poster for Dandy called 'Dandy in Showtime Panic' happening in 2002,this means that the cartoons have been existing for atleast 18 years.) Theory 2 - Ichor When i first encountered Twisted Dandy,something about his design made him alot more sinister then any other twisted,not just because he was a lion. The body of Twisted Dandy is all black,and if anything is black in this game,it's Ichor. How do i know that it's Ichor and not just ink? Because Twisted Boxton literally has extra hands made of Ichor,and when he starts chasing you,he runs to you head forward,so that the hands in his head can grab you. This means that Ichor can both be a liquid and a solid,but the more i though about it,the more it made sense. Ichor is an emotion,it's envy. Think about it,when we stop buying from Dandy a second time,the next time we see him,he is not happy with us,he is mad,and jelous that you have tapes that he doesn't have,he doesn't wave at us goodbye when he leaves,and most importantly,his eyes start to be getting a bit red,the exact same colors every twisted has for their eyes,red and black. It would also explain why every toon has a twisted counter-part,everyone has been jelous of someone else. Pebbles is an extreme case of envy,not only does he become more aggresive,his neck,tail and limbs are made out of Ichor,same goes for Goob and Astro who are crying Ichor.
HOLY MOLY??? THESE THEORIES ARE COOKING?? I REALLY LOVE THE IDEA OF ICHOR BEING BEING AN EMOTION AND TOO MUCH OF IT COULD LEAD TO YOUR DOWNFALL BECAUSE IT IS TRUE, ALSO THE IDEA OF IT BEING THE THING THAT CREATES TOONS. Not rlly sure about Pebbles since his twisted description says something along the lines of "Protecting his owner's territory" but his owner is Dandy as mentioned when you purchase him in the toon shop. Again, I'm not really sure since the wiki Twisted Page descriptions has just turned to "e." At the moment. It may be a mix of loyalty to dandy and envy perhaps? Edit - Wiki page has changed back, and the description is "This ferocious beast will stop at nothing to defend his owner and protect his territory." It is a mix of envy and loyalty, but something I found interesting is this line of "defend his owner and protect his territory" the last part specifically. I think Pebbles became not only envious but also obsessive, it's not the company's territory to him, it's HIS territory. we know that twisted pebbles is extremely fast and will hunt down anyone in his aggro range in game. He is basically OBSESSED with his territory and I think he's also afraid of losing his territory to us because it's seen as "invading" so he's chasing us out, like in competitive relationships of animals. I find Astro however to be somewhat of a strange case in this theory since his description says "Overwhelmed by guilt and despair, this Twisted puts his grief on others." And we know that Astro steals ichor progress if you fail a skill check and no one is being chased by him, could ichor or in this case envy be fueling Astro to be aggressive or spread his misery towards others and feeling guilty but never knowing how to stop because he's overwhelmed with ichor/envy? Could he be also self aware of it since he's filled with despair and accounting for all these factors, be trapped into a cycle?
I can see Pebble being envious, seeing conversations with him and other toons, instead of toons just going “awwwwwwww” at him, they question why he’s even here, the conversations for me, basically mean, “Why is a dog here? This is a big operation, it needs to be on a leash.” Along with Vee, seeing the conversations, she seems envious of Dandy, she herself Prob wants to be the star of the show, one of the pop ups say “look at me”, wanting attention all at her, but Dandy is the main character, so most attention’s on him. Which is prob why both are pretty big

in twisted dandy's description, it says he runs the ichor mining operation. My theory for the lore is that you are getting paid by dandy to extract ichor for him, and the twisted toons are fallen workers.
If you look at the rule poster it says things about toons as if a pov from a person and not a toon or something, telling other toons not to scream at toons is like having a rule board in a hotel saying “don’t touch the humans!!” It just doesn’t make sense, and “listen to toon handlers” kind of proves that, anyway it disproves your theory here the twisteds are fallen workers, but maybe the ichor infects them? There are a lot of twisteds with a strange black goo on them, so maybe that’s it? Anyway dandy feels like the embodiment of an evil corporation to me
i think it also works like an infection due bc shrimpo, boxton and poppy players are seen lose the most, and the twisted shrimpo, boxton, and poppy are the most common (i think)
theory on shrimpo Shrimpo’s face slowly starts to get sad(such as crying) when you play as him in multiplayer and progress through the floors, and he has the lowest stats. I think that his stats, are the reason why he acts mean, since he wants to appear strong despite how weak he actually is
My theory is that the tapes are some sort of temporary cure for the ichor corruption, explaining why dandy needs them so badly. Dandy opened up a shop with tapes as currency, because he is a corruptee of the ichor, and needs a supply of tapes so he doesnt become corrupted like the rest of the twisteds. When you dont give him any tapes, he doesnt have a way to fight back against the ichor, so he becomes corrupted, like the rest of them. There are tapes all around the place though, which explains why he is back to normal, since there are a bunch of tapes on the ground just lying there. He also probably found out a way to mildly keep his mind sane and aware as a twisted, which explains why he is able to get the tapes as one.
In theory no.2, you said that dandy got selfish and wanted to have the spotlight and vee also wanted to have the spotlight too, which meaning that vee has a grudge with dandy. There are ways that this could back up the theory: no.1 is that, when you see twisted vee’s ads, you can see the dandy marketable plushie being replaced by a “vee” marketable plushie and no.2 is that, when you go to her wiki and go to quotes, you can see the phrase “I bet that dandy couldn’t do this!” further backing up this theory.
Notably, he doesn't like ANY main character aside from pebble. This is seen much less, but if you buy Astro from him he says "..." Also, in Astro's interaction with Pebble, He asks how Dandy is doing, and when Pebble whines in response he says "...I know, buddy." His requirements also require you to see Twisted Dandy. This moreso points to Dandy disliking Astro because he's seen Dandy's twisted form, but I found it notable nonetheless.

We need more theories about Ichor. Like ichor is how twisteds form. BUT IT’S ALSO THE CURRENCY OF THE GAME. My theory is that toons are made whit Ichor and are powered by Ichor hence why we are extracting Ichor to places. I’am not sure why they are extracting Ichor to twisteds place Since it seems we are *adding* Ichor to the floors maybe the machines are capsules for Ichor and the actual machines are the ones creating (or mining) Ichor and then the capsules empty out and we need to fill it again and the cycle continues maybe the twisted form cause the toons overdose on Ichor. There’s also my theory but it’s more of a “headcanon” it’s that twisted’s looks are how they got twisted by the ichor. Shrimpo may be the first twisted since he looks like he ate Ichor. And doesn’t look injured so he did not get attacked. Goob may have gotten twisted when he was crying. Vee might have split by the twisted. And Toodles got a crack on her head cause of the twisted attacking.
And the reason Goob was crying would probably be because he witnessed directly his sister Scraps getting killed, which really sucks and perhaps my theory would be that Scraps probably sacrificed herself and gave a smile to Goob before she eventually died, a smile that was eternalised by the Ichor once she became Twisted.
My (VERY BAD DON'T READ THIS) theory about the toons: The toons are made up of 25% ichor (or another ichor percentage) which is low enough to keep their bodies' stable and keep their mind intact, and the toons we play as are the original toons, before the closing of Gardenview, the original toons would do the acts that would appear in the cartoons and have fun, but due to budget and the show starting to fail, the original toons left Gardenview and into the outside world by using the train station we see in the lobby, however Dandy was the only one who stayed, he kept the facility in shape which is how the elevators still work, but unlike the creators who had full knowledge of all the machines and electricity, he would often fail at keeping the lights on at all times which is why blackouts happen, after sometime of being alone in the facility, Dandy decided to bring his friends back, but instead of calling them back, he decided to make artificial clones of the toons, he had knowledge of ichor and how the original creators (Arthur and Delilah) harnessed it to create all the toons, so he built the extractor machines to extract the ichor from the Earth, since all the toons were just simply sentient versions of normal toys and objects, it was easy for Dandy to find the correct items to recreate all the toons, but when putting in the ichor, he put too much ichor, after the clones were made, they acted very similar to the original toons, this caused the Gardenview cartoons to come back and reopens Gardenview museum, however, there was one problematic character Shrimpo, Shrimpo was too angry and eventually, after a bunch of days, Shrimpo became the first twisted and this is the "malfunction", Shrimpo started to attack the guests and the guests were all evacuated, however the other clone toons were still in the building and Shrimpo found Toodles and attacked her and broke her head revealing the ichor, Shrimpo than ate the ichor and the amount of pain caused Toodles to become a twisted and due to her head being broken, she got brain damage and started running on all fours and also started attacking the toons for ichor, then all the other toons became twisteds because of the following: Witnessing the death of other toons, being attacked and feeling too much pain, too angry. This was when the special effect of ichor started to manifest, as the ichor is connected to the mind of the twisted, and due to it being able to go from solid and liquid some twists' mind unknowingly caused to ichor to make their body twist and contort in inhumane ways, these effects happened to Boxten (head arms), Pebbles (Extended limbs and a very big jaw), Astro (2 extra arms and his sleeping cap being longer), Vee (Very tall). This caused Gardenview to shut down for good, before the incident Dandy decided to inject himself with more ichor to see the side effects, and while nothing different happened to him so far, after the incident Dandy started feeling dread and despair, he managed to lock all the twists to the lower floors and stayed in the lobby floor, but he was bound to become a twisted, so to slow it down, he would watch tapes to keep himself sane by watching the good old days of his friends' adventures, this is why he needs tapes, eventually he realized he couldn't find anymore tapes in the lobby, so he decided to call the original toons (the ones we play as) to come over for an adventure, but it was truly to get more tapes to keep Dandy sane, to get the toons to give it to him, he would sell them items for the tapes, but when the toons were to not give him tapes, he would become more angrier until he becomes twisted and start to chase the toons and to call them useless, he will just kill them on the spot, but he has some of his original mind so while he is a twisted, he will specifically grab tapes to watch after his hunting session to go back to normal. Ichor theory: Ichor is a rare solid - liquid mineral that has most of the composure of actual blood other than a few differences, but it is close enough to blood that it can even be used as a substitute for blood, this is how the creators created the toons and led to the eventual downfall of Gardenview, too much of ichor causes anger and madness which causes the toon to go wild and feral after too much pain and anger.
NOTE THAT THIS MIGHT NOT MAKE SENSE , I'M NOT SURE I have a theory, and that is... 1. The failed operation Before I supposed, on each floor, there were multiple toons. They were there to bring life to the floor and to entertain people of all ages. And there were machines on the floor for staff apart of the Ichor Operation. And since Dandy runs the operations, he wanted to do something to help. Sooner enough, Dandy's started helping with non-extracted machines. However, the help caused an accident, as Dandy failed to extract Ichor from a machine, and so the machine exploded along with the Ichor. This caused a twisted infection, turning any toon that gets into contact with the ichor into a hostile, deadly twisted. So all the twisted are the toons who got into contract with the ichor from the incident. Dandy remained in the lobby, blaming himself for it, according to his twisted's bio with a sentence saying, "It's all his fault," so he sent the remaining toons/us down to extract ichor from the machine because he doesn't want to cause more problems himself.
In the back of Dandy shop, there’s block saying help and bc also if you go in the room beside dandy‘s shop there’s a door with ichor comping out or some type of scratch marks like some of the doors you see in the floor
Sorry for late comment but did nobody ever theorized about "Toon Handlers"? Remember that map where we can see pictures of the main toons and their handlers? I think nobody has talked about and how they were created so heres my theory: So apparently, if you all know, Toon Handlers are supposingly creators of the main toons (yes humans exist) and if you've seen the maps so far, seems like they've been abandoned for so far and the motes might give off that the company has been in bankrupt or in debt, idk but there seems to be posters from the 2000's but thats just me. But guys, get this (lets not talk about that now that we reached the toon making part) toons are made of inchor right? So maybe the toon handlers must have something to so with it which caused the company to be abandoned or either because of the incident regarding to guess what? Dandy, either Dandy and Vee are the first main creations, maybe the place is also a LAB to create toons so they can keep up the place and name (and show maybe?) so thats just my theory. Maybe the tapes also have to so with Toon handlers too because nobody mentioned them either maybe they abandoned them (MAYBE also thats why in his lines he feels sad like "Was it something that I said?) so i believe Dandy isnt ENTIRELY evil. But thats just my theory regarding to Dandy and the toon handlers (maybe also Dandy went after the mains right after the abandonment but who knows its a THEORY)
Also to back up my theory inspired by another comment: Maybe Dandy's toon handler was either a bad person leaving them behind (also with his lines you can tell he has lines among blaming himself, etc when we didnt buy his tapes so maybe the reason WHY he needs tapes (as a currency to buy things) is to either animate and bring back his friends (maybe the creations or toons) or possibly to keep the place running and shedding light bringing the company back to place in desperation This doesn't make sense to my theories but hey its just a.. GAME THEORY!!
My theory is this: Ichor is required to create and sustain Toons, with up to a full Extractor’s worth needed to create one and about a teaspoon to sustain them. However, too much Ichor and the Toon will become Twisted. That is not good. But Dandicus Dandifer had an idea. Fool some Toons into thinking Ichor is entirely harmless, and have them do the work for him. Then, when he’s finished, he’ll either hunt them down himself or have them become Twisted to restart the process. If they manage to resist, he simply breaks the elevator and lets the existing Twisted’s pick their bones. Hence why all the spawn elevators that are not used in that run are broken down.

My theory on how toons became twisted Boxten: There were alot of people "alive" in the "Game" so he extract ichor Realllly fast then he got distracted by the "music" in his head(this is real because boxten is a music box)then the ichor went too full and splashed on top of boxten's head and before just that happen boxten prob open his head and the ichor *went* inside of his head eventually becaming a hand Poppy:idk lolsie Shrimpo: same idk lol Finn: after alot of people finish the extracting machine at the same time he run too fast and trip while his leg are dull A twisted eat his leg and the ichor eventually get into his body Toodles: she was happily skipping over the place when something fall in top of her head now inside of a 8ball is more like a black ink and i theorized its "ichor" so the fluid eventually spread all over her body Tisha: she was too busy cleaning the place when dandy put an infected tissue on her head and the ichor spread making her cleaning personality crazy Cosmo: she gave his last heart to another toon and is weakend she only walk because the pain and a twisted ate his "head" My theory on why main toons have less heart: The mains are the most popular mascot in the dandys manufactoring facility so dandy decided to test on all of them abd if you see on the icon of theyre head it seems like its covered by ichor
I think that when we collect ichor & then use the ichor on purchases through Dandy's shop, Dandy uses the ichor we give him from the purchases to infect the bodies of dead toons that die when we play with more people (or when we die on solo runs)
I have a theory about the Main Toon, they only have 2 hearts, well, they have 3, but one of them is broken and has a color black, mostly what it looks like it is Ichor dropping from it, which it means that Main Toons are the ones that have more chances to become Twisteds
this theory may not make sense but in twisted dandy’s description, it says “it’s all his fault” and notice how the currency in the game is ichor from what i heard ppl are theorizing that ichor is needed to make toons and at the same time, twisteds are covered IN ICHOR so maybe that sometimes there could be malfunctions when making toons, thus twisteds are made, maybe dandy and his toon caretaker messed up most of the toons maybe that’s why it’s, “all his fault”

I just found out how rodger turned into a twisted Idk if im right or anything but heres my theory for twisted rodger He might have turned to a twisted because he drowned in ichor How did i find out? Well if you look at the ichor shop and look at the highest offer you can see Rodger is drowning and i actually think my theory is right because the research capsules rodger is holding has tape on the middle just like the research capsule trap by rodger
ayy i have a theory -in the lobby on one of the rooms ( with the computers and poster and things) one of the posters were about dandy plush with small test under it like a waiver as they are not reliable for any health concerns. and my theory is that the ichor is actually nightmares costed by dandy plushies near children hence the waiver/ small text on the poster... ( im delulu for this theory 😭)
I got a theory that kinda of makes sense, a player told me this So, ichor means "Blood of gods" in greek mitology, and according to it, mortals cannot resist when they consume and they become zombie like creatures and the ichor comes out of their bodies, and the remaining toons's objectives is to survive, but why extract ichor? Maybe dandy told them to extract to continue to the next floor so they could survive.
Hrmm i think gardenview was founded during the 1920s but fell a bit during the 1930s but got back up, then another fall since many workers prob died in WW2 but they hired more workers, then they tried expirements on humans to turn them into toons, if you dont know they probably used like suits for the toons, like you know, the disneyland ones! Besides that now the toons were real and stuff but during the 1980s they had a slow downfall and less people were coming then ichor (for some reason) started dripping everywhere. Then in the late 2000s arthur walton closed gardenview for sanitary and customary reasons but the toons were still locked up in and slowly they got infected by the ichor, now they all reside in gardenview, looking for human blood... Oh and abt the toons in the store, they are just the costumes they used to use, also, dandy is partly infected by ichor as he only gets affected by ichor when he gets angry, and about dandy in the store, it is likely that he may be a hologram, also, the tapes may be the expirements made on humans ORR scrapped parts of the cartoon, its most likely that its the expirements and not the cartoons,But thats just a theory, A DANDY THEORY!!

My Theory of dandy’s world is that dandy got corrupted and evil, then he wanted to start his new project with ichor first he used pebble as first experiment what pebble did is infect others by bites that might explain why twisted Rodger has missing his legs how toodles have her head broken and how Shelly’s bottom part is gone remplaced my ichor then those twisteds infected by pebble started infecting others I have another theory about Astro in his description you can see that he is “depressed” on his twisted form bc he knew what was dandy doing but didn’t want to tell anyone because he was scared to lose his friendship with him ( the toons best friends of dandy are pebble and Astro ) that explains why his twisted form is depressed because he think it’s all his fault for not telling anyone especially pebble because he knew what was dandy planing with him
Hey, i have a theory of who "Delilah Veen" is. So as we can see in one garage map, there are pictures of Main Characters and their Handlers, and i think Delilah Veen is handler of Vee, because well.. VEEn, that might be a random theory based on name, but i tried. My therory- The company dandys world was going out of business and ran out of mascots so dandy dicided to make his own the first tryed to use inchor and other animate objects or mutate sertain items but it never worked rezults in failiure where twisteds soon he started kidnapped children and then turning them into the mascots aka toons and the toons got fed up then turned dandy into one of them and the and the buliding started to break down so he sent the toons to repair it before the twisteds escape into the world
Also fun fact: the place is a daycare or a fun place for kid’s because I saw notes, drawings, and I saw kid’s names, also I have a theory as well for the blackouts! They are (like the video said) losing money so I think that’s why there’s blackouts
I have a theory about boxten we all know that his head is a square right and he’s a music box and then when he’s twisted why does his box open but that’s not the only thing a music box should have a head that comes out or like a clown but there’s hands coming out of it so I suspect that that is the sort that is is having boxtens soul
i think the lore in dandy’s world is the tapes in the game when going for dandy run they will say Those tapes are MINE, the tapes that we collect thru out the floors is proof of what dandy did to the twisteds, trying to hide the proof from us, and all the twisteds were the og characters they ended up forgeting dandy as what dandy says oh i thought u forgot about me, when u buy a item after not buying smthing at their shop 2 times which this makes me think that when they were forgotten they became twisted more and more to where they went on a rampage on all the other toons and with them being knocked out lost all their memories and slowly dying because they are losing ichor they kill for YOUR ichor. this is all a theory
Theory: Astro and Vee (maybe Shelly) will play a big part of a role in the story. The reasoning is that when you buy Astro or Vee Dandy will say nothing about them unlike other characters
astro knows that dandy is twisted, which is why he's always frowning slightly in fear, and vee has a funny story in one of the tapes vee hosts a gameshow and dandy answers a question wrong which results in dandy losing the opportunity to get 10 bajillion gallons of ichor and possibly some tapes
Ok so when I played the game the first thought that popped in my mind was. (this game like bendy and the ink machine) and it's actually really true if you think about it the twisteds are basically past toons that got corrupted and the company who made them had to replace em I mean why else would there be toons in the shop and the ichor is probably the ink that consumed them all and since dandys the biggest I think he was the first to get consumed by the ichor and everyone in the garden view had to evacuate as early as possible because of them and also since there's duplicates of toons(or players playing the same toon) I think there like extras like it's possible because kid company's like Mc Donald's and chuckie cheese made extra suits for the people behind the mascot to wear if the suit was ever broken or needed more tinkering to allow for fast service and more money that's exactly what's happening with dandys world duplicates of toons everywhere and also I like to think that the lobby is like a doomsday shelter for when the surviving toons needed a place to stay and each day toons get sent down to the under ground to remove the ichor that's infecting everyone. Some get out some do not and maybe the tapes that dandys shop in the game are actually something more sinister maybe the tapes are explain how to make the antidote for the ichor or employees tapes talking about the truth of dandy that's why whenever we go on a dandys run he's mad for us not giving the tapes so we don't know his dark side yes I know your sad he's not Mr Krabs in a daisy costume but hear me out when going on a dandy run and we finally see twisted dandy it looks like his body is covered in ichor and chains I think it's probably the effort of containing him or the thingies inside of the tape that's making him stronger and also (I got this idea from a comment on a video) maybe the toons wer playing as are just the new modern ones and the original version of those are twisted but that's just a theory A GAME THEORY thanks for reading
Theory The reason why dandy wants the tapes that you buy items with is so he can turn the tapes into Ichor and make more twisteds. And the only reason we are down there is to do his work on getting more twisteds an ichor, and if we die our body will just feed the twisteds so they would get stronger.
i have some questions abt the game *ONE* : why the heck does twisted toodles chase you in all fours two : do the main characters know atleast something about this ichor harvesting simulation dandys planning theree : why does dandy even need tapes for : what if the elevator "going down/up" thing is a hoax? i mean why do we keep on encountering the same exact floor sometimes, just with different machine locations, item/capsule spawns and monsters?

i dont believe in the bankrupt thingey, since one of the posters you can find around the maps says a play was airing in 2004 so they couldnt have gone bankrupt
I have a Theory: In one of the maps, you could see a poster saying "A special thanks to our 𝙏𝙤𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙨" then in the picture with Astro and his Toon Handler, you can see that the Toon handler is cleary pissed. And that the Toon handler with Vee is scared while Vee has a smirk on her face. This may be because some Toons are really toxic against their Toon Handlers.
i have some theories too.
Theory 1 - Toons and Gardenview
We are never explained what toons are. Sure we get descriptions about each toon's personality,but not what actually IS a toon. My theory is that since you need Ichor to buy a toon from Dandy,Ichor might be the substance that creates toons which would explain why Dandy would start the Ichor Operation,he needed more characters to help the company,he realized that he couldn't be a star if he didn't have friends to help him be a star,as much as he hated it,he couldn't make a show without more. This theory is further back supported by the loan you mentioned in your theory 2. Since the Gardenview needed money to fund the show in 1984,this reminds me of one era,Black and white cartoons,this is also supported by the fact that all toons have a vintage skin,which are all in black and white.
(Fun fact,since the loan is from 1984 and there is a poster for Dandy called 'Dandy in Showtime Panic' happening in 2002,this means that the cartoons have been existing for atleast 18 years.)
Theory 2 - Ichor
When i first encountered Twisted Dandy,something about his design made him alot more sinister then any other twisted,not just because he was a lion. The body of Twisted Dandy is all black,and if anything is black in this game,it's Ichor. How do i know that it's Ichor and not just ink? Because Twisted Boxton literally has extra hands made of Ichor,and when he starts chasing you,he runs to you head forward,so that the hands in his head can grab you. This means that Ichor can both be a liquid and a solid,but the more i though about it,the more it made sense.
Ichor is an emotion,it's envy. Think about it,when we stop buying from Dandy a second time,the next time we see him,he is not happy with us,he is mad,and jelous that you have tapes that he doesn't have,he doesn't wave at us goodbye when he leaves,and most importantly,his eyes start to be getting a bit red,the exact same colors every twisted has for their eyes,red and black. It would also explain why every toon has a twisted counter-part,everyone has been jelous of someone else. Pebbles is an extreme case of envy,not only does he become more aggresive,his neck,tail and limbs are made out of Ichor,same goes for Goob and Astro who are crying Ichor.
These 2 theories are so good, i love the second one.
Maybe Goob and Astro have insecurities that other toons dont have and they are jealous of that?
HOLY MOLY??? THESE THEORIES ARE COOKING?? I REALLY LOVE THE IDEA OF ICHOR BEING BEING AN EMOTION AND TOO MUCH OF IT COULD LEAD TO YOUR DOWNFALL BECAUSE IT IS TRUE, ALSO THE IDEA OF IT BEING THE THING THAT CREATES TOONS. Not rlly sure about Pebbles since his twisted description says something along the lines of "Protecting his owner's territory" but his owner is Dandy as mentioned when you purchase him in the toon shop. Again, I'm not really sure since the wiki Twisted Page descriptions has just turned to "e." At the moment. It may be a mix of loyalty to dandy and envy perhaps?
Edit - Wiki page has changed back, and the description is "This ferocious beast will stop at nothing to defend his owner and protect his territory." It is a mix of envy and loyalty, but something I found interesting is this line of "defend his owner and protect his territory" the last part specifically. I think Pebbles became not only envious but also obsessive, it's not the company's territory to him, it's HIS territory. we know that twisted pebbles is extremely fast and will hunt down anyone in his aggro range in game. He is basically OBSESSED with his territory and I think he's also afraid of losing his territory to us because it's seen as "invading" so he's chasing us out, like in competitive relationships of animals.
I find Astro however to be somewhat of a strange case in this theory since his description says "Overwhelmed by guilt and despair, this Twisted puts his grief on others." And we know that Astro steals ichor progress if you fail a skill check and no one is being chased by him, could ichor or in this case envy be fueling Astro to be aggressive or spread his misery towards others and feeling guilty but never knowing how to stop because he's overwhelmed with ichor/envy? Could he be also self aware of it since he's filled with despair and accounting for all these factors, be trapped into a cycle?
I can see Pebble being envious, seeing conversations with him and other toons, instead of toons just going “awwwwwwww” at him, they question why he’s even here, the conversations for me, basically mean, “Why is a dog here? This is a big operation, it needs to be on a leash.” Along with Vee, seeing the conversations, she seems envious of Dandy, she herself Prob wants to be the star of the show, one of the pop ups say “look at me”, wanting attention all at her, but Dandy is the main character, so most attention’s on him. Which is prob why both are pretty big

in twisted dandy's description, it says he runs the ichor mining operation. My theory for the lore is that you are getting paid by dandy to extract ichor for him, and the twisted toons are fallen workers.
If you look at the rule poster it says things about toons as if a pov from a person and not a toon or something, telling other toons not to scream at toons is like having a rule board in a hotel saying “don’t touch the humans!!” It just doesn’t make sense, and “listen to toon handlers” kind of proves that, anyway it disproves your theory here the twisteds are fallen workers, but maybe the ichor infects them? There are a lot of twisteds with a strange black goo on them, so maybe that’s it? Anyway dandy feels like the embodiment of an evil corporation to me

Shrimpo’s face slowly starts to get sad(such as crying) when you play as him in multiplayer and progress through the floors, and he has the lowest stats. I think that his stats, are the reason why he acts mean, since he wants to appear strong despite how weak he actually is

My theory is that the tapes are some sort of temporary cure for the ichor corruption, explaining why dandy needs them so badly. Dandy opened up a shop with tapes as currency, because he is a corruptee of the ichor, and needs a supply of tapes so he doesnt become corrupted like the rest of the twisteds. When you dont give him any tapes, he doesnt have a way to fight back against the ichor, so he becomes corrupted, like the rest of them. There are tapes all around the place though, which explains why he is back to normal, since there are a bunch of tapes on the ground just lying there. He also probably found out a way to mildly keep his mind sane and aware as a twisted, which explains why he is able to get the tapes as one.

In theory no.2, you said that dandy got selfish and wanted to have the spotlight and vee also wanted to have the spotlight too, which meaning that vee has a grudge with dandy. There are ways that this could back up the theory: no.1 is that, when you see twisted vee’s ads, you can see the dandy marketable plushie being replaced by a “vee” marketable plushie and no.2 is that, when you go to her wiki and go to quotes, you can see the phrase “I bet that dandy couldn’t do this!” further backing up this theory.
also when you buy vee from dandy’s shop in the lobby he says “oh… vee.” he definitely dislikes her as much as she dislikes him.
Notably, he doesn't like ANY main character aside from pebble. This is seen much less, but if you buy Astro from him he says "..."
Also, in Astro's interaction with Pebble, He asks how Dandy is doing, and when Pebble whines in response he says "...I know, buddy."
His requirements also require you to see Twisted Dandy.
This moreso points to Dandy disliking Astro because he's seen Dandy's twisted form, but I found it notable nonetheless.

We need more theories about Ichor. Like ichor is how twisteds form. BUT IT’S ALSO THE CURRENCY OF THE GAME. My theory is that toons are made whit Ichor and are powered by Ichor hence why we are extracting Ichor to places. I’am not sure why they are extracting Ichor to twisteds place
Since it seems we are *adding* Ichor to the floors maybe the machines are capsules for Ichor and the actual machines are the ones creating (or mining) Ichor and then the capsules empty out and we need to fill it again and the cycle continues maybe the twisted form cause the toons overdose on Ichor.
There’s also my theory but it’s more of a “headcanon” it’s that twisted’s looks are how they got twisted by the ichor. Shrimpo may be the first twisted since he looks like he ate Ichor. And doesn’t look injured so he did not get attacked. Goob may have gotten twisted when he was crying. Vee might have split by the twisted. And Toodles got a crack on her head cause of the twisted attacking.

My (VERY BAD DON'T READ THIS) theory about the toons:
The toons are made up of 25% ichor (or another ichor percentage) which is low enough to keep their bodies' stable and keep their mind intact, and the toons we play as are the original toons, before the closing of Gardenview, the original toons would do the acts that would appear in the cartoons and have fun, but due to budget and the show starting to fail, the original toons left Gardenview and into the outside world by using the train station we see in the lobby, however Dandy was the only one who stayed, he kept the facility in shape which is how the elevators still work, but unlike the creators who had full knowledge of all the machines and electricity, he would often fail at keeping the lights on at all times which is why blackouts happen, after sometime of being alone in the facility, Dandy decided to bring his friends back, but instead of calling them back, he decided to make artificial clones of the toons, he had knowledge of ichor and how the original creators (Arthur and Delilah) harnessed it to create all the toons, so he built the extractor machines to extract the ichor from the Earth, since all the toons were just simply sentient versions of normal toys and objects, it was easy for Dandy to find the correct items to recreate all the toons, but when putting in the ichor, he put too much ichor, after the clones were made, they acted very similar to the original toons, this caused the Gardenview cartoons to come back and reopens Gardenview museum, however, there was one problematic character Shrimpo, Shrimpo was too angry and eventually, after a bunch of days, Shrimpo became the first twisted and this is the "malfunction", Shrimpo started to attack the guests and the guests were all evacuated, however the other clone toons were still in the building and Shrimpo found Toodles and attacked her and broke her head revealing the ichor, Shrimpo than ate the ichor and the amount of pain caused Toodles to become a twisted and due to her head being broken, she got brain damage and started running on all fours and also started attacking the toons for ichor, then all the other toons became twisteds because of the following: Witnessing the death of other toons, being attacked and feeling too much pain, too angry. This was when the special effect of ichor started to manifest, as the ichor is connected to the mind of the twisted, and due to it being able to go from solid and liquid some twists' mind unknowingly caused to ichor to make their body twist and contort in inhumane ways, these effects happened to Boxten (head arms), Pebbles (Extended limbs and a very big jaw), Astro (2 extra arms and his sleeping cap being longer), Vee (Very tall). This caused Gardenview to shut down for good, before the incident Dandy decided to inject himself with more ichor to see the side effects, and while nothing different happened to him so far, after the incident Dandy started feeling dread and despair, he managed to lock all the twists to the lower floors and stayed in the lobby floor, but he was bound to become a twisted, so to slow it down, he would watch tapes to keep himself sane by watching the good old days of his friends' adventures, this is why he needs tapes, eventually he realized he couldn't find anymore tapes in the lobby, so he decided to call the original toons (the ones we play as) to come over for an adventure, but it was truly to get more tapes to keep Dandy sane, to get the toons to give it to him, he would sell them items for the tapes, but when the toons were to not give him tapes, he would become more angrier until he becomes twisted and start to chase the toons and to call them useless, he will just kill them on the spot, but he has some of his original mind so while he is a twisted, he will specifically grab tapes to watch after his hunting session to go back to normal.
Ichor theory:
Ichor is a rare solid - liquid mineral that has most of the composure of actual blood other than a few differences, but it is close enough to blood that it can even be used as a substitute for blood, this is how the creators created the toons and led to the eventual downfall of Gardenview, too much of ichor causes anger and madness which causes the toon to go wild and feral after too much pain and anger.

I have a theory, and that is...
1. The failed operation
Before I supposed, on each floor, there were multiple toons. They were there to bring life to the floor and to entertain people of all ages. And there were machines on the floor for staff apart of the Ichor Operation. And since Dandy runs the operations, he wanted to do something to help. Sooner enough, Dandy's started helping with non-extracted machines. However, the help caused an accident, as Dandy failed to extract Ichor from a machine, and so the machine exploded along with the Ichor. This caused a twisted infection, turning any toon that gets into contact with the ichor into a hostile, deadly twisted. So all the twisted are the toons who got into contract with the ichor from the incident. Dandy remained in the lobby, blaming himself for it, according to his twisted's bio with a sentence saying, "It's all his fault," so he sent the remaining toons/us down to extract ichor from the machine because he doesn't want to cause more problems himself.

Sorry for late comment but did nobody ever theorized about "Toon Handlers"? Remember that map where we can see pictures of the main toons and their handlers? I think nobody has talked about and how they were created so heres my theory:
So apparently, if you all know, Toon Handlers are supposingly creators of the main toons (yes humans exist) and if you've seen the maps so far, seems like they've been abandoned for so far and the motes might give off that the company has been in bankrupt or in debt, idk but there seems to be posters from the 2000's but thats just me.
But guys, get this (lets not talk about that now that we reached the toon making part) toons are made of inchor right? So maybe the toon handlers must have something to so with it which caused the company to be abandoned or either because of the incident regarding to guess what? Dandy, either Dandy and Vee are the first main creations, maybe the place is also a LAB to create toons so they can keep up the place and name (and show maybe?) so thats just my theory.
Maybe the tapes also have to so with Toon handlers too because nobody mentioned them either maybe they abandoned them (MAYBE also thats why in his lines he feels sad like "Was it something that I said?) so i believe Dandy isnt ENTIRELY evil.
But thats just my theory regarding to Dandy and the toon handlers (maybe also Dandy went after the mains right after the abandonment but who knows its a THEORY)
Also to back up my theory inspired by another comment: Maybe Dandy's toon handler was either a bad person leaving them behind (also with his lines you can tell he has lines among blaming himself, etc when we didnt buy his tapes so maybe the reason WHY he needs tapes (as a currency to buy things) is to either animate and bring back his friends (maybe the creations or toons) or possibly to keep the place running and shedding light bringing the company back to place in desperation

lazy theory of mine: Garden view is the old lobby of flavor frenzy station, a game made by blush crunch studios.
My theory is this:
Ichor is required to create and sustain Toons, with up to a full Extractor’s worth needed to create one and about a teaspoon to sustain them. However, too much Ichor and the Toon will become Twisted. That is not good. But Dandicus Dandifer had an idea. Fool some Toons into thinking Ichor is entirely harmless, and have them do the work for him. Then, when he’s finished, he’ll either hunt them down himself or have them become Twisted to restart the process. If they manage to resist, he simply breaks the elevator and lets the existing Twisted’s pick their bones. Hence why all the spawn elevators that are not used in that run are broken down.

My theory on how toons became twisted
Boxten: There were alot of people "alive" in the "Game" so he extract ichor Realllly fast then he got distracted by the "music" in his head(this is real because boxten is a music box)then the ichor went too full and splashed on top of boxten's head and before just that happen boxten prob open his head and the ichor *went* inside of his head eventually becaming a hand
Poppy:idk lolsie
Shrimpo: same idk lol
Finn: after alot of people finish the extracting machine at the same time he run too fast and trip while his leg are dull A twisted eat his leg and the ichor eventually get into his body
Toodles: she was happily skipping over the place when something fall in top of her head now inside of a 8ball is more like a black ink and i theorized its "ichor" so the fluid eventually spread all over her body
Tisha: she was too busy cleaning the place when dandy put an infected tissue on her head and the ichor spread making her cleaning personality crazy
Cosmo: she gave his last heart to another toon and is weakend she only walk because the pain and a twisted ate his "head"
My theory on why main toons have less heart:
The mains are the most popular mascot in the dandys manufactoring facility so dandy decided to test on all of them abd if you see on the icon of theyre head it seems like its covered by ichor
I think that when we collect ichor & then use the ichor on purchases through Dandy's shop, Dandy uses the ichor we give him from the purchases to infect the bodies of dead toons that die when we play with more people (or when we die on solo runs)

I have a theory about the Main Toon, they only have 2 hearts, well, they have 3, but one of them is broken and has a color black, mostly what it looks like it is Ichor dropping from it, which it means that Main Toons are the ones that have more chances to become Twisteds

but in twisted dandy’s description, it says “it’s all his fault” and notice how the currency in the game is ichor
from what i heard ppl are theorizing that ichor is needed to make toons and at the same time, twisteds are covered IN ICHOR so maybe that sometimes there could be malfunctions when making toons, thus twisteds are made, maybe dandy and his toon caretaker messed up most of the toons maybe that’s why it’s, “all his fault”
Theory 1 - how i think the place looked shut down was because it wasn't being visited much as other places amd i think its due to shrimpo being angry or moody

ayy i have a theory -in the lobby on one of the rooms ( with the computers and poster and things) one of the posters were about dandy plush with small test under it like a waiver as they are not reliable for any health concerns. and my theory is that the ichor is actually nightmares costed by dandy plushies near children hence the waiver/ small text on the poster... ( im delulu for this theory 😭)
I got a theory that kinda of makes sense, a player told me this
So, ichor means "Blood of gods" in greek mitology, and according to it, mortals cannot resist when they consume and they become zombie like creatures and the ichor comes out of their bodies, and the remaining toons's objectives is to survive, but why extract ichor? Maybe dandy told them to extract to continue to the next floor so they could survive.
Hrmm i think gardenview was founded during the 1920s but fell a bit during the 1930s but got back up, then another fall since many workers prob died in WW2 but they hired more workers, then they tried expirements on humans to turn them into toons, if you dont know they probably used like suits for the toons, like you know, the disneyland ones! Besides that now the toons were real and stuff but during the 1980s they had a slow downfall and less people were coming then ichor (for some reason) started dripping everywhere. Then in the late 2000s arthur walton closed gardenview for sanitary and customary reasons but the toons were still locked up in and slowly they got infected by the ichor, now they all reside in gardenview, looking for human blood... Oh and abt the toons in the store, they are just the costumes they used to use, also, dandy is partly infected by ichor as he only gets affected by ichor when he gets angry, and about dandy in the store, it is likely that he may be a hologram, also, the tapes may be the expirements made on humans ORR scrapped parts of the cartoon, its most likely that its the expirements and not the cartoons,But thats just a theory, A DANDY THEORY!!

My Theory of dandy’s world is that dandy got corrupted and evil, then he wanted to start his new project with ichor first he used pebble as first experiment what pebble did is infect others by bites that might explain why twisted Rodger has missing his legs how toodles have her head broken and how Shelly’s bottom part is gone remplaced my ichor then those twisteds infected by pebble started infecting others
I have another theory about Astro in his description you can see that he is “depressed” on his twisted form bc he knew what was dandy doing but didn’t want to tell anyone because he was scared to lose his friendship with him ( the toons best friends of dandy are pebble and Astro ) that explains why his twisted form is depressed because he think it’s all his fault for not telling anyone especially pebble because he knew what was dandy planing with him
Hey, i have a theory of who "Delilah Veen" is.
So as we can see in one garage map, there are pictures of Main Characters and their Handlers, and i think Delilah Veen is handler of Vee, because well.. VEEn, that might be a random theory based on name, but i tried.

My therory- The company dandys world was going out of business and ran out of mascots so dandy dicided to make his own the first tryed to use inchor and other animate objects or mutate sertain items but it never worked rezults in failiure where twisteds soon he started kidnapped children and then turning them into the mascots aka toons and the toons got fed up then turned dandy into one of them and the and the buliding started to break down so he sent the toons to repair it before the twisteds escape into the world
My theory is that we are past workers to extract ichor for him and then the different toons and trinkets are actually upgrades

when going for dandy run they will say Those tapes are MINE, the tapes that we collect thru out the floors is proof of what dandy did to the twisteds, trying to hide the proof from us, and all the twisteds were the og characters they ended up forgeting dandy as what dandy says oh i thought u forgot about me, when u buy a item after not buying smthing at their shop 2 times which this makes me think that when they were forgotten they became twisted more and more to where they went on a rampage on all the other toons and with them being knocked out lost all their memories and slowly dying because they are losing ichor they kill for YOUR ichor. this is all a theory
Theory: Astro and Vee (maybe Shelly) will play a big part of a role in the story. The reasoning is that when you buy Astro or Vee Dandy will say nothing about them unlike other characters
astro knows that dandy is twisted, which is why he's always frowning slightly in fear,
and vee has a funny story

Ok so when I played the game the first thought that popped in my mind was. (this game like bendy and the ink machine) and it's actually really true if you think about it the twisteds are basically past toons that got corrupted and the company who made them had to replace em I mean why else would there be toons in the shop and the ichor is probably the ink that consumed them all and since dandys the biggest I think he was the first to get consumed by the ichor and everyone in the garden view had to evacuate as early as possible because of them and also since there's duplicates of toons(or players playing the same toon) I think there like extras like it's possible because kid company's like Mc Donald's and chuckie cheese made extra suits for the people behind the mascot to wear if the suit was ever broken or needed more tinkering to allow for fast service and more money that's exactly what's happening with dandys world duplicates of toons everywhere and also I like to think that the lobby is like a doomsday shelter for when the surviving toons needed a place to stay and each day toons get sent down to the under ground to remove the ichor that's infecting everyone. Some get out some do not and maybe the tapes that dandys shop in the game are actually something more sinister maybe the tapes are explain how to make the antidote for the ichor or employees tapes talking about the truth of dandy that's why whenever we go on a dandys run he's mad for us not giving the tapes so we don't know his dark side yes I know your sad he's not Mr Krabs in a daisy costume but hear me out when going on a dandy run and we finally see twisted dandy it looks like his body is covered in ichor and chains I think it's probably the effort of containing him or the thingies inside of the tape that's making him stronger and also (I got this idea from a comment on a video) maybe the toons wer playing as are just the new modern ones and the original version of those are twisted but that's just a theory A GAME THEORY thanks for reading

The reason why dandy wants the tapes that you buy items with is so he can turn the tapes into Ichor and make more twisteds. And the only reason we are down there is to do his work on getting more twisteds an ichor, and if we die our body will just feed the twisteds so they would get stronger.

I have a Theory:
In one of the maps, you could see a poster saying "A special thanks to our 𝙏𝙤𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙨" then in the picture with Astro and his Toon Handler, you can see that the Toon handler is cleary pissed. And that the Toon handler with Vee is scared while Vee has a smirk on her face. This may be because some Toons are really toxic against their Toon Handlers.
