You don't need any course, these skills can be developed with practice. E.g. I started making my thunbnails on Canva, then I started experimenting with its different tools, then I learned more about them by watching more YT videos. It took 5-6 months to get better, but it happened by practice. So whichever skill you're trying to learn, use YT & put what you learn into practice.

I come from an average college, with average academic grades and also an IT work experience. All this has culminated into a thought that even if I crack a good B-school, would I be able to seek a great marketing career leaving my past behind. Since you come from the very field itself, and also have seen people with different and varying backgrounds moving forward to a good marketing career despite these limitations. Could you please explain how does it work, or to say, would I be able to crack a good career at marketing with my credentials as mentioned? Thank you so much, truly grateful 🙌 There's honestly nothing to worry about because marketing firms are the most inclusive - they don't care about your past credentials as much as other fields. But, they do prefer candidates with better extra-curricular achievements or holistic profiles (i.e. a little bit of everything). Having said that, ops-heavy profiles have also made it to marketing. It's not that difficult tbh. Just try adding some relevant courses/points to your profile to get their attention.

Good evening mam, Thank you for such amazing content, previous week I was waiting for your content eagerly. Now I am happy again that you started again with shorts. Mam I had a doubt regarding my preparation, I just have started my preparation from 1st March after doing 3 month of job in sales. I have joined unacadamy and doing number system in quants and arithmetic from previous videos, seating arrangement in DILR from previous videos and VARC in the classes. I am doing all three subjects together as you have mentioned to start all 3 from March till July. But I am doing worst in VARC and can't do reading, moreover doesn't understand what should be my strategy for preparation so that I can cover syllabus till July end. Can you suggest me any plan or any corrections in it. Also i have included IIMB course in my day.

Hey Priyanshu, I am currently studying in COEP. I think 9/9/9 (90+ % in 10th, 12th and 9+ CGPA) is always a green flag to enter in any field especially the IIM's. However there have been such cases where people haven't scored good in their academics but have something exceptionally well in their resume or CV , such as you might be good at sports, extracurriculars, or something which makes you unique. I hope this would have helped you .

Hi Shweta I just wanted to enquire one thing I have done my bachelor’s and masters in biology and did a 3 month internship in bio on After which I took a one year break due to marriage and in that one year I decided to change my career stream to HR I joined Accenture as a HR assistant and worked there for 8 months and after that was about to join another company as HR Executive but my father got diagnosed with blood cancer in Mar 2022 and since then I have not joined anywhere and couldn’t do any courses due to his treatment I will still be taking care of him for about 8months from now After this I was planning to do MBA I wanted to ask with this profile even if I clear CAT, is IIM possible?

I believe it will depend on your inclination. If you're into managing people pr supervising them, even if for a DS project or in a DS firm, that's possible with MBA. But if you like the core field, then go for online courses.

I have done my bachelor’s and masters in biology and did a 3 month internship in bio on
After which I took a one year break due to marriage and in that one year I decided to change my career stream to HR
I joined Accenture as a HR assistant and worked there for 8 months and after that was about to join another company as HR Executive but my father got diagnosed with blood cancer in Mar 2022 and since then I have not joined anywhere and couldn’t do any courses due to his treatment
I will still be taking care of him for about 8months from now
After this I was planning to do MBA
I wanted to ask with this profile even if I clear CAT, is IIM possible?

IMT-G has released the final conversions in a confusing manner. My friends at 99%le in xat didn't received any mail ,whereas another friend at 70 got imt Hyderabad's mail. Whereas I got mail for their DCP program. Can you please talk to the students of IMT to elaborate what's happening. Also we're confused whether getting one program call may result in not being in waiting of other program. Please help
