  • Quick update on how i am going 6-8 weeks after the appendix was removed. I hope this video gets a good response like the 1st one did.
Thank you for all the comments left on the 1st video by people that are going through the same thing as me. They really helped me, it was very therapeutic, as now the biggest struggle for me is the mental damage that is left behind, and your comments helped me out a lot

Everybody's symptoms are a little different I believe , I have battled with this for almost 30 years . My pain hits me right in the belly button , its almost as something is tugging a string behind it. , it makes you want to pass out not fun. Than the pain starts with a sharp pain than gets to a dull radiating pain through my abdominal area and I cant stand for to long. After all this time it has never radiated to the lower right side of my stomach and the other day it got so bad that after a couple days it went there , thats when I figured out it has been my appendix this whole time.. I trying natural cures first to see if this stops it and if it dont Im gettig it removed , thaks for the video , Im sure your helping a lot of people ,

Hi Jenn, how are you doing? Did you reverse your symptoms or did you get your appendix removed?

This sounds very much like the pain I experienced prior to having my appendectomy. It would come and go, off and on, for years. I never experienced it again after the surgery. Of course, this was just my own, singular experience, and my gastroenterologist was confident upon examination of the appendix that it was unhealthy.

I've had the exact same pain for almost 2 months! I've been so worried about what it could be. But now it's hurting in that lower left quadrant and now I'm almost sure it's my appendix. The first doctor I saw said it's all in my head! Finally I saw someone that ordered an ultrasound but not until next week. I'm still debating if I should go to the hospital or not. With COVID going on I don't want to take resources away from someone who really needs them. But at the same time I don't want my appendix to burst!

Did you have a lack of passing gas? I have abdominal pain, nausea, lost a lot of weight in short time and bowel changes. I can't come to any other conclusion and all tests so far are normal. So happy you figured it out. There is no way I'm stopping until I figure out what's going on with me.

You lost weight? I am not gaining weighting nor loosing it but my hips are growing because of the bloating/swelling of my stomach that comes from the eating problems that I believe can be a symptom of chronic appendicitis. Nausea and now vomiting are the last symptoms I have developed.

Thanks for the update :) I`m still waiting for the lab results, but so far it feels like the pain is going to diminish. Still a little bit nervous and excited. It was really the worst time, but I think it might be over :) They also said that Lymph nodes were swollen in that area, so I will see a doctor if they find some kind of virus. But for now I will chill and recover :D Have a nice day!

I see the doctor who did surgery next week so i will find out more then also. Its so good to hear you are feeling better. I know how you feel, i feel like the old me is about to shine bright again. I had Lymph node hyerplasia, i wonder if that is what you had also. A constant inflamed appendix, caused by virus, bacteria or infection. Thank you for your comments, it has been so greAt hearing some people going through the same thing as me,......makes me feel sane again. Cause i felt like i was going insane lol

Have my lab results back - and it was chronic appendicitis, tadaaa! Wow, I`m really excited, that this was my problem all the time, but still a little bit confused and really mistrusting all the medical profession. :) But I hope that will get better over time. My recovery is good and I already go to university and try a little yoga, which is good for getting my movement back :) How are you?

Hey Talla, I'm curious how your recovery has gone? Are you still feeling pain/symptoms? Did you end up getting your appendix removed? Hope you're doing better

Medicine is so not developed yet. Of course it's better than it was 100 years ago but it feels like in the future they'll look at us the same way we see Victorian medicine or something.

Hi Darren, I've been having lower right abdominal pain since summer 2019 and doctors says its ibs although they prescribe medication for ibs and it makes the pain worse. 😭

I am also looking to file for some type of medical compensation due being misdiagnosed and being ignored. Missed many days from work. Went to 4 different doctors and even stayed in the hospital for several days. I kept telling them it is my appendix. My last doctor agreed even though scans only showed it being in at an odd angle and sent me a really good surgeon. I suffered with this for a few years until last November that the started got out of hand and never improved. Finally got it removed. Not only was my appendix bad but part of my colon was twisted like a rubber band. None of the blood test, urine tests, scans and internal tests showed anything was wrong. I urge all that suspect they are going through appendicitis and all test are negative, to get a good surgeon who will remove it at your request

That's awful of having chronic appendicitis. Back last June, I had stomach pain and was taken to the hospital for a CT Scan to see if I had appendicitis. Thank heavens it didn't detect appendicitis.

Went looking for endometriosis only to have a 1.5 cm of fluid or mucin 2:43 on my swollen appendix. Apparently mucin is from where cancer can develop...

I actually had chronic appendicitis from October from march this year. I had my normal doctor think I was lactose intolerance when it was just chronic appendicitis. The pain after surgery was a pain in the ass especially when the gas is trapped in your back or shoulders. I had a meeting with my surgeon four days before surgery right away ( I had surgery on march 13th so I had this meeting on the 9th )

How long did it take for the pain to go in your back and shoulders after surgery? I have chronic back and shoulder pain which I now believe has developed as a result of chronic appendicitis.

I feel horrible for you. Don’t give up you need to take your health in your hands. You need lots of vitamins and minerals. Clean your colon to get your vowels moving that way all toxins come out. Drink lots of water and fiber. With all the medicine you are taking you need to detox. Hang in there and fight for your health only you can take yourself out of any depression or fear you might have. Start by walking early in the morning .
