yeah its crazy, packers had the number 2 pass blocking line in the nfl. PFF has the niners ranked a lottttt lower than ten because their pass blocking was 23rd.
2:19 i think alot of our success in the run game comes from williams kittle and juice. I wish they wouldve thrown up the numbers when we run to the left and then to the right i bet there's a huge difference.

😂 Thought Niners O-line ranked #20-28 last yr. Still got to SB. Probably, its Brock's ability to process quickly or his ability to use his mobility to make off schedule plays that help the O-line from ranking worse. Vish says takes time for college players to transition to pro. Both physically n mentally. Niners sign 2 FAs OT/OG. Might improve backups. Niners 3rd rd n 6th rd picks might upgrade the backup too. Last yr, 3 UFA O-line OG types were sign. None are with the team currently. Assume, this yr UFA O-line prospect might make practice squad. But doubt any make 53. That said, Niners need replacement for Williams. He's 35, if injured will hurt offense, like last yr 3 game skid. Center could be upgraded. Bartch looks promising. Right OG n OT could use upgrade. But does roster have anyone who play better than starters. If BA stays, how does Pearsall get onto the field if starters are Deebo n BA, with Jennings on 3rd down. More 4 WRs formations. But, thats puts more pressure on the O-line to give more time for Brock to throw. Thought formation with Cmc, Juice, Kittle, Deebo, n Ba gave defenses fits, they didn't know if run or pass play. 4 WRs, sort of indicates a pass is more likely. Don't know if any changes in roster helps the O-line. Kyle/Niners seem to favor vets. Unlike the Defense. Niners sign many D-line n CB FAs. Should improve the defense. Also, last yr draft picks are stepping up. LB Winters n Graham. CB Luter. TE Willis. Hopefully, Niners can find some RBs. Mitchell is injury prone. Mason doesn't get opportunities. Guerendo is unknown. Change position in college. Not a starter. But has measurebles. Like TE Latu. Developmental? A lot of promising UFAs signed last yr. None with the team currently. Many promising UFAs sign this yr. Hopefully, some make the practice squad. If Snead was truthful, hard for newbies to crack 53. Assume coaches have preferences or prejudices or other reasons for keeping players. (draft status, salary cap, proven ability, potential ability, etc) Although, UFA RB Schrader looks like' a promising RB candidate. He was a walk on in college too. Who prove yo be agood starter, lead SEC. Can't wait for camp battles.
If Burford finds his groove and plays consistently, that allows the niners to potentially slot puni at LG and let banks walk. If not, puni RG Banks lg

Buford "started" but was in rotation because he couldn't beat out Brunskill. Then they tried to hand it to him his 2nd yr but became a rotational piece yet again. He's the weakest link. Replace him with Feliciano. If Puni shows out, I'd be good with Feliciano and Puni at center guard
I think Feliciano wins out the RG spot or bumps inside at C w Puni at RG or Nugent beats out Brendel and Feliciano stays at RG.
Burford, Puni, Brendel interior depth.
RT will be the interesting race. McKivits/Hubbard and I think Kingston is the developmental RT and possibly could play this season.
Notice how they say McCaffrey may make them look a little bit better than they actually are, but no mention of Purdy doing the same thing? They have to rank the O-line better than they are, or it means that Purdy is actually better than what they rank him. The real question should be, how many of these 49er starting O-linemen would actually be starting on any other team?
Depends on the team...but trent and banks are starters almost anywhere. Mckivitz is a starter on a lot of teams, not all...feliciano and brendel are backups mostly, but start on a few teams.
How could a team go to two straight nfc championships and a super bowl the last couple years with no o line? The 49ers o line is obviously good
I don’t know how chief is top five oline but I do know they don’t get called for a lot of holding they do. They’ll get one here and there, but not a lot specially in that playoff runs

Get rid of Buford and Williams get 3 more solid OL
Burford is really bad.I think he shouldn't even be a backup.Niners have a really average line.I would put them as top 18 in the league at best.Center Right Guard and Right Tackle aren't good.But get rid of Burford he is horrible.He isn't on the verge of anything.
Burford has all the physical attributes you can ask for as a guard. His issues were purely mental. If he’s able to correct the mental aspect he can be a legit starter. He’s not just “horrible.”
Can't be that bad because the Guy played as a Rookie and The RG couldn't find any PT.
they are average in run blocking, bottom 3rd in pass blocking win rate. When Trent was out they were 28th in the league. The bengals were beating our 5 linemen with 3, consistently. Then people wonder why Purdy played poorly. If Trent is injured for a large part of the season. Our season is done.
