Ποιός του το'λεγε όταν μάθαινε πνευστά, ότι θα παίζει σε ροκ μπάντα και θα εκστασιάζει το κοινό από κάτω, ενώ θα κάνει headbanging παίζοντας κλαρίνο!!! Μλκ μου, στοχος ζωής! Μπράβο ρε μάγκα! Μπράβο ρε μάγκες!

CHRIST ALMIGHTY - WHAT A HELL OF A SOUND. These young men have created a special sound - something that is beautifully guttural that disarms you and you find yourself transported to an emotional realm of pure joy whilst a tear involuntary dances down your cheek. Majestic guys - pure MUSICAL ART - where the Clarinet is a pied piper, dancing in a circle of guitar, vocals and drums.
    Breathtakingly beautiful. Kon - Australia.

In Greece there is still music in the pentatonic scale, and especially in the region of Epirus, northwestern Greece it still influences their music.Pentatonic structures and oligotonic scales are a main feature of Greek-speaking polyphony, which goes back to the ancient Greek pentatonic animitonic structures.

It's our kyuss from forty years ago, we can't wait till they come to America because this is nostalgic American southwest desert rock check out

      Kyuss_the album wretch
      Kyuss_cattetpillar march
Kyuss album_ blues from the red sun
      Kyuss album_sky valley
This band is so heavily influenced by them that when I first heard end of the world I looked over at my friend and said when did kyuss get back together and he says this ain't kyuss man this is this new band that has popped up in Greece and I said what? This isn't new kyuss? I instantly downloaded it and played it on my radio show that night, and the calls to the radio station started pouring in . Who is this? Over and over so we suspect that the English is because they are about to go on a world tour including north America

At least we hoped for that the covid 19! happened and stopped those plans but hopefully we get another chance because your favorite band is going to be known the world over if they get the chance to be. This is what we were listening to 35 to 40 years ago it was awesome then and it is still awesome now especially this band taking it up a notch to the next level but check out kyuss and you will have another favorite band that influenced your favorite band

Love the use of traditional instruments in rock. LOVE music played in its original language as intended. It is a FEELING; not a lyric. I want it raw, not dumbed down or clumsily translated. If I love it, I'll do the translating myself, and have learned a few things! 😍

For all those asking for the lyrics.
This song is basically a political/rebellion song that VIC wrote during the huge Greek economic crisis!
    Title: Ζβάρα
Ζβάρα (Svara) = Σβάρνα (Zvarna) which literally is “the agricultural tool used to level the soil and break up the clods”, but allegorically means “when you run and destroy everything in your path”. I’ll use “Svara” in the lyrics, because I cannot find any relevant word in English.
    [Verse 1]
Go Svara the mountains and the peaks
    islands and cities, villages, bridges
    come on go guys

    [Verse 2]
Go Svara the mountains and the peaks
    islands and cities, villages, bridges
    and thresh them guys

    [Verse 3]
Go Svara and get them guys
take streets, squares, narrow streets around
    go and get them guys
    [Verse 4]
Go Svara and get them guys
take streets, squares, narrow streets around
    and step on them guys
    [Verse 5]
Go Svara and burn them all guys
find every old, every rotten and dark
and come on burn it guys
    [Verse 6]
Go Svara and burn them all guys
Burn every old, to come out from within
    the most beautiful flower
I did my best since not everything can be correctly translated from Greek to English.

      mountains, their peaks,
to the islands and the cities, to villages and bridges.
      Come on, dudes. Go now.
      [2nd Verse]
Head straight to the mountains, their peaks,
to the islands and the cities, to villages and bridges
      and start reaping them.
      [3rd Verse]
Rush over there and start working, goddamnit.
Fill in streets, squares, the round alleys.
Come on, dudes. Go fill them now.
      [4th Verse]
Rush over there and start working, goddamnit.
Fill in streets, squares, the round alleys
and start living on them now.
      [5th Verse]
Rush to everything now, burn this whole shit down.
Find anything old, every single rotten and black thing
      and burn this shit down.
      [6th Verse]
Rush yourselves in and burn this whole shit down.
Burn everything old down, so that the loveliest flower
      arises from these ashes.

    Song translation to english:
    Key words:
ζβάρα (it's actually ζβάρvα ,english letters zvarna": This word means to take everything in your path with force. Sort of like a flash flood, it takes everything in its path.
βρε (in English letters "Vreh"). This word is a slang way of calling someone out. Think of the general use of the word "Y'all" in plural, or "man" or "you" as in "hey man" or " hey you", "yo man", "let's go man", "what's up man", etc. in singular
αλωνίστε (english letters "alonista"): equivalent to saying "separating the wheat from the chaff." Think of it as extracting the value of something or as "kattrits3943" mentioned in the comments, to roam the area.
Πάρτε ζβάρα τα βουνά τις κορφές
Take everything in your path, the mountains, the peaks
νησιά και πόλεις, τα χωριά, γιοφύρια
Islands and cities, the villages, bridges
    άιντε πάρτε τα βρε
go ahead and just take them, Y'all.
Πάρτε ζβάρα τα βουνά τις κορφές
Take everything in your path, the mountains, the peaks
νησιά και πόλεις, τα χωριά, γιοφύρια
Islands and cities, the villages, bridges
    και αλωνίστε τα βρε
    And roam the area, Y'all.
Πάρτε Φορα και άντε πιάστε τα βρε
Go quickly and take everything, man.
πιάστε δρόμους, πλατείες, τα στενά στη γύρα
Take the roads, town squares, the tight streets in the area.
    άιντε πιάστε τα βρε
    And grab them, Y'all.
Πάρτε Φορα και άντε πιάστε τα βρε
Go quickly and take everything, man.
πιάστε δρόμους, πλατείες, τα στενά στη γύρα
Take the roads, town squares, the tight streets in the area.
    και πατήστε τα βρε
and stomp all over them, Y'all,
Πάρτε τα ζβάρα όλα κάψτε τα βρε
Take everything in your path and burn it, my man.
βρείτε κάθε παλιό, κάθε σάπιο και μαύρο
Find something old, rotten and dark
    και άιντε κάψτε το βρε
and go ahead and burn it, Y'all.
Πάρτε τα ζβάρα όλα κάψτε τα βρε
Take everything in your path and burn it, my man
κάψτε κάθε παλιό, για να βγει από μέσα
Burn everything old, so from inside it can come out
    ο πιο όμορφος ανθός
    The most beautiful flower.

Tiny tiny correction: Αλωνίστε in this instance more likely means roam, and βρε more closely translates to "y'all" when referring to multiple people. Otherwise incredible translation

@@kattrits3943 All these years It never occured to me that the word "Y'all" is basically the same as "βρε" in plural. Absolutely love that you shared this. Learn a new thing every day I say. 👍 I added your adjustments to the translation. thanks for this.🙂
