They do taste amazing . I did not use to like bananas before , but since I grow them myself I love to eat them! The taste of homegrown fruits that is picked in a ripe sate is no comparison to store bought produce.I am spoiled now!

Wow! Everything alive :D Full of prana!
The papaya tree is really massive! The trunk is full woody. And it has branches and everything! You don't see that a lot with the regural papaya trees. Wonderful! :D

      How are you doing?
      Whahha masterful! :D
Did you ever try to grow new trees from papaya cuttings? I just looked it up and it might be possible. I think the technique is called air-layering or marcotting (I sent you a video from a guy in Suriname a while ago with this technique by Dennis Tauwnaar from Pikin Sranan). I have not watched the videos or read the articles, just skipped through it, but it seems possible. And I just saw a channel called Maidul's Gardening Techniques from India and this guy is doing all kinds of experiments with plants. I'm not sure how good it is, but there might be some interesting things over there.

Hi! Sarah you’re back I have been anticipating your new video and there you are. I saw your very lush bitter melon plant and the fruit is huge looks so good. The leaves are being eaten also we bland them then used it for salad you can mix chopped onion and tomatoes, salt/pepper to tast. we used anchovy sauce I don’t think you like it that way for it gives a little unpleasant odor but it is very good😊. All your plants are thriving they look good. Loved the papayas, bananas etc. I have been tempting to grow the the papaya/banana here in Michigan but the season is too. short for it. Anyway I have grown moringa it is smaller than the regular kind but it did produced enough leaves for to cook with chicken. Right now I have it stored indoors to make it alive for this season 2023 in spring/ summer again. Thanks Sarah for another video it is very inspiring👍

@@MyFoodForest hi! Sarah, I thought I will give you some ideas for the bitter melon leaves as well. For I heard that it is a diabetic freindly for lowering blood sugar, and also a very nutritious as well. As of now we are in the middle of winter of about 30 degress farendhiet. Planning to winter sowing in milk jug for cool veg. seeds for spring to come up sometimes in March, and the next sowing is the warm season veg. Thanks for asking. Loved your garden everything is full of vibrant healthy greens and fruits. That pineapple looks so scrumptious😋. Happy gardening!❤

When I see your garden I always think, how can there be poverty in a country with such a climate, but of course India is immense with most people living in cities with no access to gardens. As humans we have ventured too far from what it is to grow or forage our own food. Bitter gourd, nature’s sculpture 😻 Take care Sarah! Greetings from Spain

Hola Monica🌿it is so true what you write, we have ventured really far from growing our own food . Even here in Auroville where many residents would have the possibility to grow their own ,with very little effort-it not really happening . Also due to most of the people ,locals and foreigners do not know how to consume local foods.

El Noni he visto que lo comen cocido (verde), en tajadas, como una verdura. No lo he probado aun. Si lo he fermentado, es fácil, aunque toma meses y necesitas frascos de vidrio donde dejas que madure y suelte su jugo y este oscurezca.

Yes, both sweet potatoes and pumpkin are edible raw. Pumpkin is actually a fruit and delicious to consume in its raw form in so many ways. Just harvested some and the next video will be about pumpkin.Sweet potato is also edible raw , I like it in juices mixed with apple - super nutritious! But otherwise I prefer them steamed!
And both pumpkin and sweet potato leaves are edible too!
