Ive been reading this manga online (finished volume 6) and it’s amazing but the reading experience is only decent so I think Im going to start reading them on paper. More then likely the deluxe editions.
I highly recommend getting the deluxe editions that are out so far and if you can’t wait for the rest of the story to be done and come out in the deluxe version, then read the rest in the singular volumes.
I’m currently reading this series and I’m loving every moment so far. Also, Guts’ berserker armor looks amazing

I suggest reading the manga from the start up until you reach volume 13. Then watch all of the 1997 version of the anime and then continue reading the rest of the Berserk manga. The reason I suggest the 1997 version of the anime is because, for me, it gave that olden day feeling of medieval times. And the songs in the anime felt so “Berserk” to me. It just felt right. Like I said in the video, whenever I read the rest of the manga after watching the anime, Guts’ theme song and the other little songs played in the anime were just playing in the back of my mind and it felt like I was just sat deep in the Berserk universe as I was reading along 😌 Dark, fascinating, sad, happy and many other feelings.

After the appearance of Ganishka I decided to stop reading online and complete this story in the deluxe editions. As the story progressed the art just kept getting better and the deluxe volumes does this story justice
I’m glad you continued reading it in the deluxe editions and the art does get better, even though the art is amazing from the start, Kentaru Miura still improves on his drawings through out the Manga 👌🏽
I picked up the first 3 volumes at barnes and noble and knew before i even finished the first volume that I would have to continue with the deluxe editions. The clarity and detail of the artwork is so much better and it actually ended up being cheaper in the long run than getting the single volumes. The only drawback is that the deluxe edition's large size prevented me from bringing a volume with me on a trip to read at the airport/on the plane, whereas i would have been able to easily manage it with the paperback volumes.
I started this way back in 2015, somewhere around that time I watched the anime and couldnt not read the manga after that ending, so here I am now, with a big collection(digitally) and expecting deluxe vol 1 to arrive soon from Amazon, I love this series and even though I'm poor I'll somehow obtain it all eventually(I mean the full deluxe set XD)I'm always happy to meet felow fans
That’s cool man I loved the 1997 anime of Berserk! You’ll love reading the manga in the Deluxe Edition and I do hope you eventually have all the Deluxe Volumes one day bro 🙏🏽

@@dom3n1koo yes I can’t wait for the new chapter to release and I know I’m going to buy volume 41 when it comes out for sure! I might start doing more videos on Berserk and other mangas and going more in depth with them. Like talking not only about the story, but also expressing different perspectives of the symbology behind certain things in the mangas. Would you think you and other people would be interested in this idea? I would appreciate your thoughts on this

you talking about the manga so passionately makes me want to read it even more. are there differences in the art between the original singels and the deluxe editions?
Oh that’s cool to hear man and I would say the only differences are that the drawings are bigger in the deluxe edition volumes so I would recommend reading it in the deluxe edition because you can see the insane drawings on a bigger page and just enjoy the detail and experience of the story a bit better. But the singular volume books are still enjoyable to read. Just get the deluxe edition volumes that are out so far and if you can’t wait like me, for the rest of the deluxe edition volumes to come out, then read the rest of the story on the singular volumes. The last singular volume of Berserk comes out this November I think.
In addition to being larger, the depth of the shading is a lot better in the deluxe editions as well in my opinion. The single volumes can look quite dark at times to the detriment of the image clarity, but the same panels in the deluxe editions dont have this problem.
Is this Deluxe editions comfortably to read? I mostly read manga in my bed or in my lap.never on a table.
When I would read the Deluxe editions it would sometimes make my arm ache a little, but that would probably be because I would be reading it for a good hour or two with my arm resting underneath the book 😂 but you should be fine reading it on your lap or in bed 🛌
I read laying down too. What I did was stack 3 pillows under my head and use the top of my comforter rolled up into sort of a pad to rest the book on. It was actually a lot more comfortable than i was expecting.
