Idk if I’d call Conan authentic. He’s very upfront about his need to be liked and how he so desires attention and approval. He comes off incredibly in-authentic at times but in my opinion he’s a pretty enjoyable interviewer and he’s carried a ton by his supporting cast that he always tries to undermine. I don’t love that. Same for the fact you blatantly just confessed to wanting to bend to more advertisers that really makes me feel like this is an honest, genuine podcast. Congrats on the growth! :)

This is really instructive. I think all CONAF episodes are hilarious but I did not know that major brands did such a deep dive when considering advertising on a podcast.

Joseph Gerbils would be a character on a Conan produced Adult Swim show.

A major season plotline would be his getting over his Richard Gere trauma.
Turns out his girlfriend broke up with while they were watching Pretty Women. He calls it his Richard Gere trauma and is oblivious to what other people think that means.
Edit: he's also completely oblivious to why his name is problematic.

As far as I am concerned, you guys really exceeded all my expectations. This is true since the early beginnings of this podcast - but it is also especially true this year: Team COCO has been *on fire* ... keep up the good work, guys🙌🙌🙌

PS (edit): There's only one thing or two, that could top everything in 2024: Hans & Franz goes cinema... Or maybe, like, gofundme_Hans_&_Franz... Plus: Robert Smigel and his little doggie are added to the crew as independent correspondents (but also as permanent members!). Just saying...

While I know Conan has always professed to love all advertisers, he is also a comedian. I think that Conan and the fans love that he is uninhibited by TV standards and practices and is able to say and do pretty much whatever he wants. He may want brand support and that's totally understandable, but the fan support numbers justify the bigger brands taking a chance on advertising with his channel. BTW, is Sirius/XM using his podcast material? Are they okay with "poopy" talk?
