Hey Ho, Let's Go! The legend of the Ramones 💣 1974 - 1996

The Ramones are one of the most influential bands in the history of punk rock. They formed in New York City in 1974 and consisted of Joey Ramone (real name Jeffrey Hyman) on vocals, Johnny Ramone (real name John Cummings) on guitar, Dee Dee Ramone (real name Douglas Colvin) on bass and Tommy Ramone (real name name Tommy Erdelyi) on drums. Their fast, energetic and direct sound, characterized by simple and catchy lyrics, became a hallmark of the punk genre. The Ramones became famous thanks to their rousing concerts and their revolutionary albums. Their first self-titled album, released in 1976, is considered one of the fundamental records of punk rock. Songs like "Blitzkrieg Bop" and "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend" helped define the band's sound and style. Although they never achieved great commercial success, the Ramones were extremely influential, inspiring generations of punk musicians and beyond. The Ramones' lineup remained essentially unchanged until 1978, when Tommy Ramone left his job as drummer to Marky Ramone (real name Marc Bell). Over the next few years, the band released a series of iconic albums such as "Rocket to Russia" (1977), "Road to Ruin" (1978) and "End of the Century" (1980), the latter produced by Phil Spector Despite internal tensions and changes in the lineup over the years, the Ramones continued to play and record until 1996, when they announced their dissolution after one last world tour. Throughout their career, the Ramones have left an indelible mark on the music scene, influencing not only punk rock, but also rock in general. Their music is still celebrated and appreciated by numerous fans around the world today.

Madò che 💥,li vidi avevo 15 anni( 1994) andai in treno a Roma solo soletto al Tendastrisce, quando uscirono con la intro Buono, brutto,cattivo( Morricone), poi 1-2-3-4 e canzoni tutte sparate a mille fino alla fine , tutti impazziti,pogo devastante,io rimasi estasiato, folgorato! Fino ad oggi è rimasto il più bel concerto della mia vita ❤️. Gabba Gabba Hey, we accept you,One of us! Ramonesssss !!!❤Dee Dee 🍻❤
