ah yes the unhoneymooners literally had me CRYING it was so funny. im only about 8 chapters into the Spanish Love Deception & it’s going so slow for me. im trying to push through until it starts getting more interesting because i really wanna love it as much as everyone else does. it’s just so weird though because i usually loveee slow burns, but for some reason im not getting hooked on this one :(
@@dazai5000 heyyy...don't stop...ik it is a bit boring and slow for first few chapters but trust me when their Spain's journey begins...like from the airport...it's unstoppable trust me go on.... 🤗

I had read The Love Hypothesis, The Cheat Sheet and The Spanish Love Deception, like, before I watched your vid, and they are all great reads. Personally, I think The Love Hypothesis is the best. It's the perfect rom-com book. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a steamy rom-com to pass their time. Also, this book is set in, like, an educative background, the two main characters are both scientists, and these kinds of books really appeal to me. I have read it like 50 times and I am in LOVE with it. You, Steph, have mentioned my top 3 all time fav books in one vid itself, so I am DEF gonna try all the other books.
IM SO LATE but I agree soooo much. Like how could the first chapters Aaron be the last chapters Aaron? You should read the American Roommate experiment I think..? It's like Rosie's romance story. It's also really good!!
I completed "The Love Hypothesis" few days ago and it was AMAZING. I don't know why but I always end up liking these kinda books. I'm gonna pick "Cheat sheet" soon. Love u Steph✨ amazing recs🔥
Seeing Steph holding a copy of To Love Jason Thorn and having read and loved this book makes me so f*cking happy It's one of my all time favorite books✨
I really loved how the cafe that rose has in marriage for one is the same cafe from the spanish love deception! It added a really cute element to both stories.
The Spanish love deception and the wall of Winnipeg and me are soo good. I've already re-read them twice. also From Lukov With Love by Mariana Zapata is a must read! I loved that book and I'm reading it again atm
@@yusranoorain3049 omg i came back to reply to you because i finished wall of winnipeg the other day and i miss it already 😭😭 i cant get over aiden and vanessa AHDHDHDHSJSBD
Literally picked up The Love Hypothesis this morning after watching this video, and 6 hrs later, I’m almost 2/3 of the way through the book and obsessed 😭😭
Oh my god i’ve just finished love hypothesis following ur recommendation and it was AMAZING, when you know how to write cliche romances it ends up so good
I just finished The Love Hypothesis and I loved it. I bought it wanting a change in genre (lately I've been reading mistery and thrillers) and I do not regret it. The author knows about science and academics, and its shows. At first, I was skeptical about it (becuase the reason that I had stop reading romance books was because they felt childish), but it truly exceeded my expectations (specially after reading The Hating Game, ugh). And well, thats why Im here. Hi! You should read it. Its a nice book.
You're basically the reason why I got out of my reading slump and I thank you for that💜 it took me so long, tried so many ways to get out of that slump but all failed until I started binging your book rec vids! I was so scared and sad that I wouldn't be able to love and enjoy reading anymore but thanks to you, I've read more books this year than I thought I'd be able to :')
i recently read the love hypothesis and its now one of my favorite books i swear, i read it online but i had to order the paperback version to put on my bookshelf! :-)
i LOVED The Love Hypothesis and Fix Her Up, literally those are some books on my favorites list! This is one of my favorite tropes and I legit added so many of these books to my tbr and soon as I heard the summary! I can't wait to get my hands on them and get around to reading them!
I saw this yesterday and I just finished Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey (I started it because of this video) and it is so good omg. I literally felt like I was reading wattpad (in a good way), like I was fangirling SO hard. The ''fake'' dating and everything is super cute, and when they started liking each other OMG. I had to put the book down so many times just to take a deep breath because of the cuteness overload. She's a sweetheart, he's so serious. Tthis also contains MANY other good tropes, like brother's best friend (or best friend's little sister, depending on how you want to see it, because it's both of their point of views), gumpy x sunshine relationship, i hate everyone in the world but you kind of vibe, fake dating (ofc), also A LITTLE who did this to you vibe, etc. OH also it's spicy ;) (also there's a ''kiss'' ;) on the rain scene) I just started reading The Cheat Sheet, I hope it's as good as I heard (read some reviews, plus this video) but if you want to read it don't forget to check the trigger warnings Edit: hello this is a day after and I just finished The Cheat Sheet. I wasn't really sure the "she doesn't love me" and "he doesn't love me" were going to be as hard to read as she said, but OMG IT IS. Besides that I think it was a fun read, the characters are very likeable, and again, i felt like I was reading wattpad in a good way. One more thing, just like Steph, the ending wasn't one of those that had me stare at a wall trying to process what just happened, it was more of an "aw" and then moving on. Like, I liked the book in general but the end, even tho I liked the happy ending and stuff" was not like a wow. This two books (Fix Her Up and The Cheat Sheet) kind of give me the same vibe, not just because of the fake dating but because both male MCs are famous athletes, and idk just that vibe in general so I think that if you like one you'll like the others.
oh my literal God! the fact that i was searching 'steph bohrer fake dating trope' earlier today and you upload this video. you are stellar, my girl. ❤️🥺 no caps
I just finished the love hypothesis and I was waiting for a recommendation video I just opened UA-cam just to find more books. this was the perfect timing. thank you so much!
You are a lifesaver Steph!!! I am so depressed and my life seems to be falling apart and I needed some light fun romance literature. Thank you! I bought The Heart principle and The Love Hypothesis. Excited to read it!
Steph I just wanted to say thank you so much for getting me back into reading and giving me a thousand books on my TBR that grows by the day. I love reading so much that I started a bullet book journal that is my most prized possession now! I love you so so much. Thank you!!!
Recommendation: I LOVED frankly in love by David yoon! It basically was about main characters frank li and joy who are second generation Korean living in the us, so their parents naturally only want them to date Koreans. They end up fake dating to cover up other relationships they want to be in, but of course end up realizing they were actually meant for each other. I remember starting it at like midnight but not stopping til I finished it cause it was that good (had to get up like an hour later but it was worth it)
Here are my recs. 1. The Favor by Suzanne Wright has a marriage of convenience trope. Vienna is personal assistant for globally successful CEO Dane. He is aloof and quite ruthless, and Vienna is the only person who's not afraid to put herself up to him. There are some misunderstandings but they communicate exceptionally well. Heroine is not a silent mouse, she's witty, fun and assertive which was great trait. Both characters had difficult childhoods and it's interesting to get to know what happened. Moreover Vienna’s dad story is something I’ve never seen in books. You should try it 🙂
2. Exposed by Kristen Callihan is frenemies to lovers story. In fact it's fourth part of VIP series and it's best to read books in order. It's about members of rock band who are like family and all of them are in all books and it's great to catch up with the gang. My favourite book from this series is the second one about Scottie, the manager ( grumpy hero vs. very sunshine heroine), but Exposed was also good.
OMG OMG OMG I just realised that the coffee shop from MARRIAGE FOR ONE made an appearance in THE SPANISH LOVE DECEPTION.... It was such a great coincidence 🦋💜

I so love 'the love hypothesis' and 'the kiss quotien' and of course all of mariana Zapata books ! And i would look into your other recommandation. I currently am reading leveling up of jill burrell and i think it is also a good fake dating book !
Yay I’m so glad you read a Sarah Adams book. I agree with you about the ending but I think you would like the off limits rule or the match better . Anyway great video
I don't know if anybody has ever really noticed but Rose's coffee shop Around the corner from Marriage for one has a wee-bitty appearance in The spanish love deception .It's Catalina's favorite shop. There's the same barista Sally and the same building.
Another great fake dating but with banter that outshines any book I’ve read is Take a Hint Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert!! I loved it and it rivals The Love Hypothesis with how good it is!!
The Off Limits Rule by Sarah Adams is literally my favourite fake dating book. Lucy moves in with her brother after moving away from her ex boyfriend. She meets his best friend, Cooper on a day out and the brother tells them both not to go near each other. Cooper tells her he needs to speak to her brother about them first but the problem is, he doesn’t approve. fake dating, brother’s best friend & a slow burn 🔥
I would love to recommend Unbreak My Heart by Nicole Jacqueline. It is definitely similar to ugly love because it has that push-pull aspect. But it also has that forbidden taboo. I think you would definitely enjoy it.
Okay I need to read the love hypothesis you’ve convinced me

I would love to recommend Unbreak My Heart by Nicole Jacqueline. It is definitely similar to ugly love because it has that push-pull aspect. But it also has that forbidden taboo. I think you would definitely enjoy it.
The Spanish Love Deception was amazing! I can't wait to read The Unhoneymooners!
