Hey Michael! Sorry the angles were not as helpful as you were looking for! You can route the wires under the bed cap without concern about rubbing and they are almost completely covered. 👍 The silicone is being applied around all of the edges of the LED strips to ensure a tight hold. You can even apply some to the underside of the lights themselves depending on your bed material. Please let us know how we can serve you further! Thanks!
not to mention, it is not a wiring harness he is splicing. A harness has connections that clip into one another... a male and a female. it is not a harness. @@F150LEDs
Is there a way to add an exterior switch to this set up?
Would it not be easier to tap the factory bed lights if the truck has them from the factory?

My kit for my ‘23 F150 came with red clamps, different than the one in your video. How do I use them?

Sadly, cannot see where he's applying silicone. Shoving wires under bed cap? seems like they'd rub/expose wire? Camera isn't helpful...😮💨
