So happy & excited with your cabin crew series, when I saw your video on my recoms, with no hesitations I clicked and viola, subscribe and ring the bell! The 5 yo in me who dreamt of becoming a flight attendant is alive again, always dreamt of it until I grew up and unfortunately wasnt that blessed with height, probably around 5 ft, so the dream slightly faded away. I am in my last year in engineering now, if given a chance after this, I'd be more than okay to pursue my dream first before practicing my degree. Thank you for being an inspiration, Ms. Kath. Off to watch more of your videos 💗
all airlines have a standard pay rate for flight attendants tho its a fun job and hoping my girl gets into that kind of field since she got the looks and personality :)
Saw this on my feed. Fellow fa here but for a u.s. carrier. I’ve always wondered what pinas carriers paid. Thanks for sharing. The airlines got hit hard .. but we are a resilient lot and will bounce back .

To those of you saying that the salary of crew here in the Philippines is “mababa” (low), please take note of what I said that this was my salary 9years ago. Please let’s avoid spreading hate and generalizing all the crew. Just because you experienced something not so nice from one crew of any airline, it does not mean all of them share the same traits. Let’s break stereotypes and be more open minded. I would like my channel to be a venue of honesty, transparency, and positivity where hopefuls can learn a thing or two about the aviation industry. Having said that, comments coming from all trolls, lurkers or those who just come to this channel with the intention of spreading negativity will be deleted. Don’t worry i will not block you, feel free to watch and waste your precious time watching my videos. To my ever supportive subscribers, trust that I will continue uploading contents that will enlighten your queries. XOXO Kath 🥰
It also obviously depends on what airline you work for and where you are based from. Airlines from the USA pay substantially higher than other airlines. For example, if you work for Asiana, one of the better airlines in all of Asia, you’re average salary is around 4000-5000 dollars a month (basic pay plus hours flown) while if you are based in California, you’re average salary can be as high as 9000-10000 dollars a month. If you are based in another state, the salary can be as low as 5000-6000 dollars a month. So, it really depends on the airline and where you are based.

It was my one of my dreams when I was a child, but when I grow up I realize, being self employed and business person is better, you can also travel and work from your own time. But FA is better than other jobs.
Nope, FA is not better in freelancing. I'm earning 250k per month working at home in a flexible schedule and I can travel anywhere I want and enjoy my time with my family.
Is it something that a lot of FAs want to do it for a long period of time? Only few have stayed in the business that long. The toll on bio clock is a huge trade off. It puts too much burden on one's health. You really cant eat very healthy food as FAs are just confined to airline and hotel foods. You cant have a regular gym routine. On one's day off, FAs just sleep. I would rather have a regular paying job and do regular activities. Maybe for experience, if you are pretty or goodlooking, you can try it for couple of years.
I always watch ur videos and it really helps me a lot and now after working as BPO agent for 3 years straight, i will try to apply as cabin crew. Wish me luck ! :) love u girl godbless
I like to be FA someday but my insecurities is my nose because its pango not totally flat but small nose. Is there any problem if my nose is flat or every airlines are required a beautiful nose or matangos?

Anyway, the video is so informative and Im sure this is a must for those inquisitive fresh graduates. Kudos Kath.
Good Salary and Benefits. But you cant help to notice that it is almost impossible to get in due to "physical requirements". In Philippines, it is almost impossible to be in flight services if you're not at least 5'5". You have to be damn flawless, etc you name it. Im not in the industry so feel free to correct me. Thats just based on my observation from my sister who's studying flights services. In other countries, you can be morena, black, yellow, brown and 5'00" and still be a stewardess. Also, don't forget, you must know how to swim.
Other than the benefit of free travel, the wage are very low. Good on you for discussing pay rates, it alway surprises me Filipino's will apply for jobs and never ask the rate of pay. In the West we always ask or discuss remuneration amounts.

- be atleast 165 centimeters tall
- have an arm reach of 212 cm while standing on tiptoes
- be atleast 21 years old
- be able to speak english fluently
- be able to swim 25 meters
- have no tattoos showing while wearing your uniform
- have no big scares showing while wearing your uniform
- have a good level of health and fitness
- have a positive attitude
- have an outgoing personality
- be willing to move to Doha, Qatar
if you get accepted to be part of the cabin crew you'll get training too ofc
anyways i hope this helped you!

monthly income
Basic11k per month, so 5500 on 15th and 5500 on the end of the month?
