Tsismis is one of the worst killers of your drive to work. Makakaya ko pa yung stress nang dahil sa work pero stress due to toxic people ang hirap po talaga. It's the same reason I left the hospitality industry and shifted to a different career.

I can really relate with the "chismis" part. I was friends with someone for 7 years who I only met at work. I thought we were really good friends, I share with her everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, but I didn't know she takes it as masyado akong ma-drama, OA, etc. And worse part is, she doesn't tell it to me directly but to other people. When I got promoted to the manager position, somebody told me she went to the extent of complaining to the clients about how it's unfair for us to have the same salary knowing that I handle a smaller team (we are from different departments). And just recently, someone sent me some screenshots of how she talks about me - calling me names, telling other people wala akong diskarte, walang utak, parang high school kung umasta. That's why I get very self-conscious whenever I come in the office because I don't know what else she has been telling other people about me. It does affect my self-esteem and my self-confidence a lot so I am contemplating whether it's worth staying with the company, or find my inner peace somewhere else. I did stop talking to her. I didn't confront her, even if I don't explain why I suddenly stopped being friends with her, I know she knows what she said and did. Glad you finally found your own inner peace. :)

Omg, totoo. Danas na danas ko yan. Ang hirap pumasok kapag ganun, kasi hindi mo na kerri yung ganung setup na lagi ka chinichismiss and all. Kaya that's one of my reason din kaya ako nagresigned sa work ko. Knowing na I don't have friends to trust. ☹️ I became so lonely and got anxiety because of it. Tapos kailangan mo talaga maging maingat, at ginagawa mo yung best mo para di magkamali kasi kapag nagkamali ka, yung judgement sayo sobra. Na parang gusto mo gawin sa sarili o irules mo na wag magkamali. And it is so difficult lalo na lagi mo sila kasalamuha and sympre sa work you need to interact with them gusto mo man o hindi. Akala ko ako lang nakakaranas, sobrang down na down ako sa panahon na yun to the point na I lost myself.
Even as student po relate po ako sa mga reasons niyo po kung bakit hindi na po kayo babalik.Tulad po na sobrang natatakot po ako mag kamali sa lahat ng ginagawa ko sa skul. Nag kamali po ako before at iyon ang naaalala at chinichismis po nila as ako til now. Pero hinayaan ko nalang po.

Sometimes yung reason na nagreresign sa work is not the load or work itself but because of your workplace, workmates na mema kala mo may ambag sa buhay mo maka kuda. Office politics /chismis is not healthy for your mental health but sadly nangyayari tlaga sya. Hindi kasi sa lahat ng oras kelangan mong makibagay.
Being a flight attendant takes hard work, effort and time while being on social media, vlogging and doing tiktok short videos is an easy peasy type of "work" and way to earn money. So mas madali talagang mamili. :D
Chismis, is a big thing. Mao pod ni ako gihawaaan sa corporate job ko. Mas dako kog sweldo ron, mas flexible time nako, i get to attend family special occasions. Unya I can travel anytime mao na nga nag wfh ako. Good decision, thats why I didnt go back sa work ko for 8 years :)

I had also experienced this. I was laid off from the job/office i prayed for (during pandemic). Same reasons i love what i was doing, and also same reasons like time, salary, backstabbing/issues, etc. Truly God works in mysterious ways. From this video I have seen patterns. Kaya kahit na gustong gusto mo, yes ipapaexperience sayo ng Lord, pero pag alam niyang hndi para sa ikabubuti mo, siya na mismo ang gagawa ng paraan para ilayo ka doon. Time heals though. Ive got trauma of applying in that kind of office job, I fear applying to firms, applying for someone. until this year when I felt okay na, i tried to apply again just to evaluate if yun parin ba ung gusto ko for myself, a second chance maybe. Then 2 months lang, i resigned (peacefully). I realize I couldnt go back anymore to that kind of system that broke me in the first place. Even if the people around me have good hearts, still in that kind of system i dont see myself serving my highest purpose my real calling. And maybe for the last 2 years that i didnt work for someone, during those 2 years I was already doing something else, and that speaks for a redirection. Just being patient though that soon Ill find the right job for me, the job that really is His will and not my want. Thank you for sharing your story!

Just a tip Jen, i know you dont this but, i’ve heard from a lot of people, it’s better to enter Emirates Airlines than Qatar. Mas maraming umaalis sa Qatar because sobrang strict nila. They have curfew sa accomodation and layovers. Sa Emirates Airlines dont have that. And they are more flexible when it comes to vlogging crews. There’s so many EK crews who are content creators. Basta, ive heard this from multiple accounts, QR is sobrang strict, EK is a lil bit lax. Anyhow, as a follower of you, i always used to say, you have found your calling as a vlogger. To tell stories and all. And you are so good at it. Plus all the other things you have enumerated, i can tell they are very genuine reasons why you love to be not flying anymore. But you can always explore once more that world. The flying world. For sure you will give us more exciting adventure stories. Without a doubt. And i am so looking forward to that. If it wont work for you, you can always go back to being a full time content creator. The good thing about that is, it doesnt expire. Youre very lucky actually to have more than 2 options available for you. That’s what you get when you are good at communications😢. But i hope you consider EK! You know Ms jen im so proud of you naguumpisa ka palang dito sa youtube isa ako sa mga laging nanood ng mga videos mo (i hope you still remember me 😊). The day na mapanuod ko itong video mo na ito dami kong narealized na kahit pala saan ka magwork madami talagang toxic na tao. Yung tipong you lived your life to the fullest but dami mo maririnig na chika about sayo like (ano ba ginawa ko sa inyo) ilang beses ko ito pinanood kasi gusto ko na sana umalis sa work ko now dahil daming issue na sangay sangay yung mga issue na hindi naman totoo. Nakakadepress yung ganun like yung mga gusto ko inaayawan ka because of the issues.

Chismis, is a big thing. Mao pod ni ako gihawaaan sa corporate job ko. Mas dako kog sweldo ron, mas flexible time nako, i get to attend family special occasions. Unya I can travel anytime mao na nga nag wfh ako. Good decision, thats why I didnt go back sa work ko for 8 years :)

I had also experienced this. I was laid off from the job/office i prayed for (during pandemic). Same reasons i love what i was doing, and also same reasons like time, salary, backstabbing/issues, etc. Truly God works in mysterious ways. From this video I have seen patterns. Kaya kahit na gustong gusto mo, yes ipapaexperience sayo ng Lord, pero pag alam niyang hndi para sa ikabubuti mo, siya na mismo ang gagawa ng paraan para ilayo ka doon. Time heals though. Ive got trauma of applying in that kind of office job, I fear applying to firms, applying for someone. until this year when I felt okay na, i tried to apply again just to evaluate if yun parin ba ung gusto ko for myself, a second chance maybe. Then 2 months lang, i resigned (peacefully). I realize I couldnt go back anymore to that kind of system that broke me in the first place. Even if the people around me have good hearts, still in that kind of system i dont see myself serving my highest purpose my real calling. And maybe for the last 2 years that i didnt work for someone, during those 2 years I was already doing something else, and that speaks for a redirection. Just being patient though that soon Ill find the right job for me, the job that really is His will and not my want. Thank you for sharing your story!

Just a tip Jen, i know you dont this but, i’ve heard from a lot of people, it’s better to enter Emirates Airlines than Qatar. Mas maraming umaalis sa Qatar because sobrang strict nila. They have curfew sa accomodation and layovers. Sa Emirates Airlines dont have that. And they are more flexible when it comes to vlogging crews. There’s so many EK crews who are content creators. Basta, ive heard this from multiple accounts, QR is sobrang strict, EK is a lil bit lax.
Anyhow, as a follower of you, i always used to say, you have found your calling as a vlogger. To tell stories and all. And you are so good at it. Plus all the other things you have enumerated, i can tell they are very genuine reasons why you love to be not flying anymore. But you can always explore once more that world. The flying world. For sure you will give us more exciting adventure stories. Without a doubt. And i am so looking forward to that. If it wont work for you, you can always go back to being a full time content creator. The good thing about that is, it doesnt expire. Youre very lucky actually to have more than 2 options available for you. That’s what you get when you are good at communications😢. You know Ms jen im so proud of you naguumpisa ka palang dito sa youtube isa ako sa mga laging nanood ng mga videos mo (i hope you still remember me 😊). The day na mapanuod ko itong video mo na ito dami kong narealized na kahit pala saan ka magwork madami talagang toxic na tao. Yung tipong you lived your life to the fullest but dami mo maririnig na chika about sayo like (ano ba ginawa ko sa inyo) ilang beses ko ito pinanood kasi gusto ko na sana umalis sa work ko now dahil daming issue na sangay sangay yung mga issue na hindi naman totoo. Nakakadepress yung ganun like yung mga gusto ko inaayawan ka because of the issues.
