I bought a static grass applicator and have yet to take it out of the box. Thanks for the video
I'm glad I made the jump to static grass. It just adds more realism.
I just bought a grass applicator
Mix some gravel in with that mud, and have mud tracks in the gravel.
So have a question. Why do the need a nail on the grass applicator.
It conducts current to the surface so that the applicator pulls the fibers up
@@FortheLoveofTractors ahh ok it makes sense now.
Is the nail necessary?
I’m confused on what scale to start collecting in
If you have a lot of room and money probably 1/16 is for you. If you are tight on space 1/64 is great. 1/32 is a nice compromise between the two.
You said you are going to sweep up the over shake.
Use a vacuum with a woman's stocking over the tip. Suck the over sprinkle into the stocking and keep the static grass.
@@mgamga9476 I will do that! Thanks for the tip.
How did you clean the grass out of the gravel?
I did the gravel first and let it dry. That way I could simply brush the grass off the gravel when I was done with it.
