- The Z-020 Tornador Black has newly developed rotational technology inside the funnel to provide faster, more powerful cleaning compared to the Tornador Classic. Professional detailers will love the speed and effectiveness of the Tornador Black. The new design reduces wear and ensures a longer life and superior performance.
The Z-020 Tornador Black produces enormous power with a very small air compressor. All you need is a compressor with a discharge rate of at least 270 l per minute (9.55 cfm). This can be achieved using compressors with a reservoir of as little as 50 l capacity. Mobile detailers can now use the Tornador Black with a smaller, portable air compressor.
The Z-020 Tornador Black is less noisy, too. The designers increased power but reduced air consumption and noise. Plus, the Tornador Black d is equipped with sealed ball bearings inside the rotation set. Wear is minimized because the rotation set no longer comes into contact with the cone. This improvement makes the Tornador Black better suited for long term, frequent use, as in a professional detailing capacity.
Tornador Black features:
Double the power of the Tornador Classic
Low wear and maintenance
Lower air consumption
Suitable for 240V compressors
Lower noise emissions
The Tornador Black Z-020 can be used for all the same applications as the Tornador Classic, but the Black is more effective on persistent spots, like chewing gum. The cone-shaped nozzle and oscillating tip create a tornado cleaning action that cleans hard and soft surfaces like nothing you've seen before. Dirt and grime are immediately released from fabrics, carpet, and solid surfaces.
The Tornador Black Car Cleaning Gun releases a fine mist of cleaning solution that does not over saturate surfaces. You'll see the liquid turning dirty as grime is released from the surface. Wipe with a microfiber towel. Then turn the dial to shut off the water and use the compressed air to dry the cleaned area. It's that simple.
Use the Tornador Black Z-020 on the dashboard, door panels, steering wheel, fabric upholstery, carpet, floor mats, and between seats. It cleans in tough-to-reach places between seats and in seams. Because it releases so little liquid, surfaces dry quickly.
On the exterior, use the Z-020 Tornador Black to clean fabric convertible tops, body seams, wheels, and emblems. There's no need to scrub. The Tornador does the hard work for you.
The Z-020 Tornador Black has an air regular to allow you to change the working pressure directly on the tool and also to dose the capacity of chemicals accurately. What this means is that you can use more pressure and cleaning fluid on tough spots.
To clean any surface, dilute the desired cleaner according to label's directions. Turn the liquid valve straight up and use an overlapping motion as you pass the Tornador Car Cleaning Gun over the surface. If necessary, allow the cleaning liquid to dwell for 10-15 seconds. Use a microfiber towel to absorb excess liquid. Then turn the liquid valve off and use the compressed air to dry the cleaned area.
The Tornador Black Car Cleaning Gun is not a foam gun. It is a patented cleaning gun designed to remove soil with a unique cyclonic cleaning action. There's nothing else like it!
4.5 bar, for anyone else who was wondering is equivalent to about 65 PSI.
tornador is the best tool you can use for interiors and the strongest agitation possible.
you can literally blast almost any stain out of fabrics with no contact, no brushing needed.
and at the same time your fluffing the fibers taking out the matted effect.
Have you tried to use steamer to remove the stubborn dirt? Which one is more effective?
Would need to see a demo of this unit vs. a standard pressure siphon sprayer to know if the spinning piece of plastic creating the 'tornado funnel' is actually doing anything special.
Hi for upholstery, what cleaner/ soap are u using
It really needs about 6 cfm at 90psi for it to actually work the way it was ment to.
So it's spraying high pressure air from the compressor to knock the dirt around while its blasting whatever chemical the detailer desires.
My question is.. while you are going over every spot soaking it with the friendly chemical, are you not drenching the carpet with the liqoud chemical which means you will have to use a shampoo/extractor afterwards to remove the liquid spray?
IF you don't use an extractor after you use the Tornado, does the chemical soak into the carpet and eventually start to mould or simply start to smell as if it water was sprayed into the carpet and left there.. sometimes it doesn't dry properly and the carpet begins to smell.
It doesn't spray liquid volume like a garden hose.
Pretty obvious if you actually WATCHED the video.
I didn’t think commercials still put on the “ad” voice.
270 l/m with 50 l tank, but what about the compressor power? 90 l tank with 1 hp motor only deliver 220 l/m. To meet the req, i need 90 l with 2 hp and that cost a lot.
I would like this team for a cleaning business, could you tell me what are the prices and what would be the most economical to start a business and if you can send it to Los Cabos Baja California Sur Mexico?
Hi would you recommend any specific cleaning solution/engine cleaner for this ?
I love it too
What air compressor did/do you use???
Will this work well enough to achieve decent results?

What size psi compressor is recommended?
The Coon anything that has at least 4.5 cfm would be ok with the Tornador. I use a Kobalt 26 gallon and it works just fine. No waiting period for the tank to fill back up. Hope this helps
a basic 150psi model is fine as the tool is only being driven at 90psi at it's peak. The key to a compressor is the cfm rating not necessarily tank size. keep in mind while many are using smaller 5-6cfm compressors that's not what I would recommend as they will be running constantly and eventually doing that you'll burn them up. Especially price-point oil-less models that rely on a sealed teflon coated piston. Most all compressors have a 50% duty cycle which means you don't want them running more than 30 minutes per hour.
SHUTUP AND TAKE MY MONEY! !
if you do the math, the 40$ guns will still put you ahead compared with this one
i like this. it cost around 175$ 200$ but you will need a big air compressor with more than 25 gallons capacity. and they are expensive like 800$....tooo bad
TUKULITO ZAKAYAMAS you domt need 28 gallons you need a least 13 gallons that's what they said.
you are right, I have 16 gallons. it's hard to clean only one mat.
