- Just for info, me being french, it always tingles my facepalm sensor when I see “rouge” like. Rouge is a colour, it means red in my language, while Rogue is a game made of 1980 which created a genre: rogue likes ( games like rogue ).

I haven't watched the video yet - but I know a lot of these types of games focus on programming complexity vs graphics. It would be nice to find one that has a little bit of both.

Graphics are not everything. Gameplay, and longevity far outweighs graphics.
graphics is as important as gameplay. Else i don't need a 1000 euro graphic card, beside looking at something ugly is no fun.
No one wants a laggy SimCity.
