They really need to allow venti to pull largers enemies like ruin guards, not where the float but are pulled to the center. I mean he threw mountains to form the archipelago.
As someone who uses the Geo Boys on every abyss reset, I still agree that Zhongli is better than Itto, like yeah. Itto can do TONS of dmg, but you need a lot of stuff for him to do that. So if you invest in him and his team, sure. However Zhongli just needs HP. That's it.
Hi fellow geo enthusiast! I also agree with Var's choices here for geo boys. Itto will forever be my baby boy but the only thing he does is damage, Zhongli on the other hand keeps Itto and his gang safe, provides res shred as well. Can't forget Gorou the goodest of boys. If it wasn't for his kit, monogeo would not be a thing.
Aside from everything mention in the video and here, I’d argue that Geo was probably intended to be a shielding element based on its only available reaction, Crystallize. Needless to say, Zhongli offers the best shield in this game. Plus he creates a construct, (something only seen in Geo,) that resonates with other Geo constructs.
@@yesensei Not to mention that his shield can shred any physical and elemental resistance on top of providing extra crystallised shield layers on top of it
Picking cryo is hard for me. Ganyu is definitely the best all around character, Ayaka is definitely the best damage dealer, Shenhe is the best amplifier, and Diona is the most universal for team building. It feels like cryo is still missing that “staple” character that all the other elements seem to have.
I agree, notice how in all other elements the best character is a sub-dps and/or support (benny, zhongli, kazuha, raiden/fischl, xingqiu/yelan & nahida) but in cryo the chosen one was a main dps, it feels odd.
The only staple characters are the supports namely Kazuha, Xingqui/Yelan, Bennett, Zhongli, and Nahida. The problem with Cryo is that no one has an excellent support yet bec Shenhe's e only buffs a few hits which makes her a worse bennett and her expensive energy q only reduces 15 percent cryo resist which make Ganyu's burst much better bec of cryo dmg bonus and inexpensive energy cost so that makes Shenhe a "good" support but not a staple that's why we're always debating Ayaka vs Ganyu
@@Mugiduck You do you friend, but in general i like supports like rosaria more, not only can she be a sub-dps for both ayaka and eula, she's also amazing in reverse melt. That's just me tho.
Yun Jin has got to be one of the most helpful constellation group in Genshin. 4 out of 6 cons really enhances her main job of buffing. C2 buffs ally atk, C4 buffs her def which will add more atk buffs with her Elemental skill, C5 buffs her elemental skill so more numbers to her buffs, C6 increases ally attack speed which is also a buff. P.S. I'm not saying she's better than Zhongli lmao
The only characters that benefits from Yun Jin are Yoimiya and Noelle, don't @ me saying Ayato. Ayato's hypercarry teams are really bad, Ayato is way better when used as a driver in teams like Soup, hyperbloom and taser, the difference is massive.
I praise Yun Jun as hugely under rated but the thing that will never stop bothering me unless they ever make her a proper weapon that fits her is how insane her ER requirements can be especially if you want the potential 80% up time she is capable of
@@sankaranarayanan4479 it's not about the fact stuff like hyperburgeon isn't better it's about the fact hyper especially with his BiS Sword can be so good of a alternative. 2x AoE 50k+ slashes every second is nuts. Another massive point of comparison between Raiden and Fischl that seems often overlooked is that Raiden's E cannot target shielded enemies, whereas Oz can with no problem. Before Dendro, and with bad luck pulling Cryo units, this was a make-or-break difference facing Hydro Heralds.

This is really bizarre. On one hand, you say that Yelan and Xingqiu are a tossup because Yelan does more damage despite Xingqiu being far more universal than her , plus you factored in her constellations. On the other hand however, you say that Fischl is better than Raiden because she is more universal and benefits more from Dendro despite the fact that Raiden at c2 is significantly stronger than Fischl is, on top of some of her strong hyperbloom/quickbloom teams. Fischl is only really strong in aggravate with electro dps characters that have high electro application that abuses her a4 passive, but in everything else she is either replaceable (spread teams that can't abuse her a4 passive) or worse (hyperbloom/quickbloom teams where consistent AoE electro application matters more). If you are basing this on what character represents their respective element best that's fine, but if that's the case then Xingqiu is undeniably the best hydro character.
100% agree. Even though I'm a huge Fischl fan I don't think she deserves the title. She just doesn't work well enough in AOE/hyperbloom teams for that. Also, I really think he should have set a specific investment level before making the choices precisely to avoid situations like this Xingqiu/Yelan one
@@verzetta No, electro has moved on from the days of being merely a battery. They have now become an element that you just kinda toss into any comps to see a lot of colorful numbers.
I’m very interested in what they’re going to do with Focalors’ kit, since we already have two of the best sub dps as hydro perhaps they will go with a more main DPS approach ( maybe really good for forward vape teams or smth like that ). Although that’s not really what hydro is known for, maybe she’ll have some interesting mechanics.
She can become support like decreasing cd. You know how broken it will be if some characters has less cd. And the reason why i say this because in hydro domain (in monstadth???) hydro debuff will increase your cd. Like in electro, it suck your energy but raiden increases it

Fischl choice was soooooo based. She really encapulates electro in all ways. Talents and cons of her just go above and beyond on making her deal a constant barrage of electro damage

I can already guess Zhongli from Geo Raiden from Electro Nahida from Dendro Kazuha from Anemo Bennett from Pyro Xingqiu/Yelan from Hydro Ayaka/Ganyu from Cryo
There are a lot of ways you can define the best. Hydro as a whole may be dominated by the XQ and Yelan but I can say in other specific ways Childe, Kokomo, and Ayato are the best and happily argue why and in what way for hours. Electro possibly even more so especially these days. We have some balancing problems at times but for characters who aren't struggling there is a lot of good choice. That's something I rather admire about this game especially as older gamer who remembers countless titles where the power gap because of a tiny few alienated the entire cast in many older games.
I have one more point to be adding to the whole Raiden vs Fischl, Raiden actually has an advantage of generating flat energy (same amount for every element, her flat energy heavily competes with batteries of a particular element i.e. Diona for Cryo, etc) rather than only electro particles generated by Fischl, that somewhere makes her a better overall battery, even when considering an electro battery, Raiden can be better somewhat (even more energy through electro particles from her E), especially since off field characters take lesser particles that will happen with Fischl meanwhile Raiden's will be the same whether they are on field or off field
Yeah i play raiden because i hate watching over my teams energy and rational is my favourite cuz it’s the easiest team where i can get xiangling burst in one rotation
As someone who has c6 Fischl and c0 Raiden, I fully support your placement decision. Amount of electro dmg and applications that Fischl can do in a moment is just unachievable by anyone else. And while Raiden can do dmg by herself and used in some reactions, every time I'm looking for someone to be a part of electro for reactions there's only one answer: Fischl.

If crystalise were to be buffed to be actually useful in its own niche (providing shielding), Albedo could be great imo. Providing Elemental Mastery on his burst makes me think that this was supposed to be the case in the first place.

What content creators always forgot to mention that Fischl only becomes that amazing at C6. As someone who only started playing Genshin in 3.0 and have only C2 Fischl, I find myself using her less and less the more characters I have. no? She is still good at C0.... Most of her damage comes from abusing her ascension 4 passive, C6 is great but she is still good at C0. But you when you compare her against a 5 star you gotta take C6 into consideration
Fishl placement was a surprise but i agree with that completely. She is the only character in the game that is able to overcome nahida element application to even swirl electro in aggravate teams lol
@@thomasdawe1837 becouse multiple characters aply their own. nahida cant rival 3 characters on her own but she is still very strong. her dendro aplication is insane

Fischl & C0 Raiden are on par IMO, both have it's pros and cons. Well forget Dendro, even Ganyu got powercrept already in 2.0 (Ayaka release). Yeah no, FIschls 2nd you cant say she does more than Raiden and your assumption implies someone would have a c6 on hand which does change how good Fischl is + Raidens battery and uptime consistency and ability to trigger hyperblooms is just superior.
Raiden is much superior to fischl in my opinion, because not only does she have insane individual damage and can carry a team, she is also incredibly good for hyperbloom, aggravate, spread, and any sort of electro application. She is also really really good with Nahida, due to her eye having practically infinite range with Nahida's hold E. Zhongli isn't "tenous" at best as the best geo character because with hold E or with cons ult, you can avoid anything. As a wise man once said, "want to not take damage? hold E. Want to not learn attack patterns? Hold E. Want to not pay taxes? Hold E".
I agree for the most part but Fischl over Raiden is outlandishly outrageous. Raiden is an absolute monster and if you include early constellations she is insane. Plus the fact that EM Raiden exists further enhances her flexibility and usefulness. Fischl is good. I love her. But lets be real here its not close. Lets not forget Raiden is the best battery in the game, she buffs everyone's burst, she does main DPS damage with sub DPS utility, and she is a reliable electro applicator with very comfortable uptime. Also I strongly believe Yelan is hands down better than Xingqiu outside of a Hu Tao team. But that is more debatable I suppose
Raiden is sub optimal in aggravate and electrocharged teams. She does work in hyperbloom but Kuki exists and she consolidates healing. This makes Ei not a flexible representative for electro. Also, she doesn't synergize with Beidou. Fischl can fit in more electro-related teams and deal respectable damage, (Ex. aggravate, quickbloom, electrocharge, soup) and she can double down as battery too.
@@ceejcarr1833 Fischl is better with Aggravate but that’s about the only place she wins. Kuki being better for hyperbloom than EM Raiden is correct but doesn’t take away Raiden’s flexibility. Plus Raiden doesn’t have a range restriction so she still has and advantage. Not sure why you think she isn’t better for electro charge. As for the Beidou synergy that’s always something that drove me crazy. It’s truly not a big deal if she works with Beidou or not. Especially now that Yae exists. The rotation wouldn’t have been smooth and Beidou (who I love) isn’t even high up in the meta. People would’ve have used her anyway. I feel that you’re equating Fischl’s compatibility with Dendro to her overall value. But in short Raiden is a top 5 unit and Fischl isn’t.
@@AnimeGeniuss Raiden is only optimal as electro hypercarry, overvape enabler in Rational, and hyperbloom enabler and I wouldn't call her hypercarry and rational playstyles flexible since you will need to build your team around her because she demands long enough field time with her burst. Whereas fischl can be slotted anywhere due to her strictly off-field playstyle and fast electro application. Raiden's skill procs, though AOE, have pretty low scaling tbh. She's also not the best character in many respectsble electrocharged teams (i.e. Childe-Fischl fireworks, Ayato-Fischl EC, Fischl-Beidou EC, Sucrose-Fischl taser, Yae-Fischl EC). Double electro comps with Fischl have good burst uptime as well since she can battery well. Moreover, Yae has better synergy with fischl in aggravate, spread comps with tighnari/nahida, EC with kokomi/kazuha because Fischl herself outputs insane amounts of off field damage with Oz. Playing raiden in any of these teams will require you to adapt your rotations to her burst uptime to make the most out of her kit. I wouldn't say that Raiden deals less damage than Fischl because she is definitely broken with the right investment. She's just not as flexible as Fischl to represent her element well.
Fischl may have been buffed slightly more than raiden with dendro but as an individual entity not only was raiden buffed but she embodiies the key aspect of electro, the energy recharge aspect, along with the overwhelming damage aspect. Ultimately, any burst centric team is ameliorated greatly by raiden, even without her driving it and just sitting there silently with her elemental skill active. Plus, raiden's skill activating on damage is great for things like nahida comps where you can chain the coordinated attacks on enemies on the other side of the room through her skill
I think I only disagree with Fischl. She is really good, but she did not benefit that much from Dendro, at least not as much as you say. 1)For catalyze teams she requires a second electro (someone like Keqing, or maybe Cyno), and someone who also applies a lot. Maybe even also an anemo unit like Kazuha. Otherwise her utility is greatly reduced, since her a4 passive doesn't work. Units like Shinobu, Raiden and Yae Miko don't have this problem, and can work as a sole electro unit in these teams. 2)She doesn't really work in Hyperbloom. Oz doesn't always hit the dendro seeds, and her utility is these teams is always as a second electro unit not as the only one. Kuki and Raiden don't have this issue. There is only one dendro team in which she is objectively better than other electro units on her own, and that team is Burgeon. This because she helps with energy and to diminish the burning aura. Other than Burgeon she requires another electro unit to be actually a benefit to the team. And even then she is replaceable by another unit of a different element (dendro, hydro, cryo or geo). Other than dendro, Fischl is only better in Taser. So, at the very least, I would put Raiden and Fischl at the same rank. Raiden is a better battery and I think she works better in most dendro teams that use electro than Fischl (since she does not need another electro unit at all). But she does require to change her DPS build to a EM build for dendro, while Fischl doesn't need to change much. Fischl is also more accessible (If someone is playing since 1.1 they should at least have her a C1 since she was given for free twice), while Raiden is a 5 star, who reaches her ceiling at C3. So there is an argument where you could place them at the same rank, putting one over the other depending of what parameters we are using.
i'm actually really happy you gave attention to our resident LARPer and even though my Shogun is the star of my account and the sole reason i started being able to clear the abyss back when she launched, i can't forsake how much Fischl carried me on Oz's back throughout my progression

Great review i personally would put Sucrose as honorable Anemo cause she’s just below Kazu and venti isn’t worth pulling for if you already have her, gorou is actually proper choice cause I haven’t try him but know my Ningguang needs more than just Zhongli to clear bosses with average build and personally would put Noelle as honorable cause she carried me and most new players, about that annoying fish girl I’m mostly biased cause I don’t like her and don’t enjoy archers as mobile player with few exceptions (Yoimiya and Yelan) but i believe Kuki aid better while Sara deserves to be honorable even if she’s underrated and tricky to use.
The thing with Gorou is that he's actually good to go at C0 unlike Faruzan and Sara. Yes he needs a ton of ER but that's the only thing you need. You also only need to level his E, nothing else matters actually. At C6 he's one hell of a support but he's very playable at C0

I noticed smth about your take... All these units have off-field support WHILE encapsulating the ESSENCE of their element. *PYRO,* the element of war, damage output, and ATK, acting as a support through Bennett's buffs. *HYDRO,* the element of justice, recovery, and HP, brought full force with the elemental applications of Xingqiu and Yelan (better when together, too.) *ANEMO,* the element of freedom, movement, and CROWD CONTROL, donned by Kazuha's DMG buffs, skill utility, and VV procs. *ELECTRO,* the element of eternity, energy, and ER, covered by the bullet-like consistency of Fischl and Oz's energy generation. (Though Raiden's skill also does this to a lesser degree) *DENDRO,* the element of wisdom, catalysis, and EM, embraced by Nahida being a catalyst and unique 1.5U Dendro applicator with her skill and EM sharing. *CRYO,* the element of ???, pressure, and CRIT, freeze-framed through Ayaka's sheer application, and Ganyu's burst presence (plus that sweet 20% Cryo DMG bonus and free 15% crit rate when you use her Frostflake Arrows). Finally, *GEO,* the element of contracts and DEFense, grounded in Zhongli's shieldbot skill, and his petrifying burst.
I would use either _love_ or _regret_ for those quotation marks about cryo. Love based on the travail trailer. Regret based on the Shivada Jade Gemstone's description.
I disagree with your choice of choosing fischl ver raiden because raiden brings more utility with her like off field DMG, party wide buff, energy generation and can also abuse most electro reactions on top off can be played as a hypercarry. I can understand your reasons for choosing fischl but I think you forgot the benefits of raiden other then just DMG. It's just my opinion. If you don't like it don't take it seriously. And I also like content you make.❤
Yeah but at the same time Fischl’s also has that big damage and utility too, and its more applicable to more teams. Fischl deals such a big part of damage, battery, and application for teams like taser and quicken. Raiden is rarely used outside hypercarry or national other than hyperbloom, which kuki has more utility with healing.
@@Personpersonpersonperson While your right. Id say fischl is like a battery, while raiden is a nuclear bomb when it comes to energy. You could run your team with almost no ER and Raiden would give them there ults back. While fischl only does this for electro and you would still need some ER.
@@Personpersonpersonperson Raiden batteries the team better than fishl. She does it not to thr active party member but with every character and raiden jn my opinion can dish out more dmg and its not only those teams
Raiden for hyperbloom trigger has a big competition with Kuki since Kuki is also a healer so this goes against Raiden Raiden has two teams where her power is undeniable - Rational and hyper rational is more casual friendly than actually strong team since from national variants international is better than rational, as for hyper it's pretty good front load and this is the team her C2 really was designed for. As for Fischl well she is also a staple in tazer teams Fischl is considered as one of the best flex slots in many teams like Hu Tao - Raiden doesn't do that. Fischl is better for agravate electro carries or agravate Kazuha even since her A4 has no ICD and does quite a lot of damage in a team like Keqing she's actually doing more damage offield than Keqing since Raiden has the opportunity for her C2 I don't think it's unfair to say that she has also access to Elegy to buff the team there's no such polearm out there. This essay could go on but hopefully this was enough.
I would probably still go with Shogun just because she does so much in a way that sort of transcends electro. The logic that would lead you to select Fischl for electro would have lead me to pick Hu Tao or XL over Bennet for pyro, as they signify thier element better much like Fischl. Does. Shoguns role consolidation and universal useful ness is more like bennet in that way as well.

I strongly disagree with electro's placement. Fischl is very good without the shadow of a doubt, but that applies only to aggravate and electrocharged comps. Raiden, other than having one of the best performing teams at all levels of investments, either uses strictly better reaction for low invested teams (hyperbloom) or has much stronger teams if you're willing to invest vertically (raiden hypercarry or raiden national). He's my most played character, possibly cause he's my favorite character, but his usefulness is extremely underrated. While geo may not react with anything in a way that's seen as useful, Albedo doesn't care. Hell, I'd argue that some of his best teams are ones where he doesn't react with anything, like Xiao, especially with his c4, or any Dendro based team, with I believe one of his passives giving 120 em? I can't remember if it's just him being there or after doing his ult, but either way, a decent boost for a character that doesn't use it at all. The amount of damage he can do on his own shouldn't be laughed at either, depending on the build, likely doing the most of all geo members aside from Itto, who you need to have out on the field to do so where Albedo can just use his skill and you're set. And with the uptime of his skill compared to its cool down is kinda ridiculous thinking about it, 30 second duration with a 5 second cool down. How he's one of the least owned characters is beyond me. He may not encapsulate geo the best, as he shouldn't with the literal archon right there, but I'd argue he's one of the best characters in the game, let alone of geo. People really be sleeping on him man.
Give me Cinnabar Spindle and maybe I'll actually use him lmaooo. Without it you're missing out on like 6k+ damage (mine does 28k with C6 Gorou buff & with Cinnabar I've seen him hit 34k in videos). But I agree, he's very nice to just slot in as a 4th teammate. Very underrated.
I might be wrong but Fishel electro attacks are once every second and Raiden's is once every 0.9 seconds so Raiden has better electro application. also Raiden has unlimited range on her skill and lasts 25 seconds with 10s CD so you dont need to use elemental bursts to have permanent uptime. Raiden can be used in aggregate and hyperbloom teams as well. I belive raiden is better at hyperbloom then Fishel, and raiden can also battery better.
Fischl has better application. Both of them have ICD on their hits so not every hit applies an element to an enemy. The big change is Fischls A4 passive. Everytime you do an Electro reaction you add an extra elecrto shot with no ICD. This makes Fischls Electro application significantly faster though Single Target. But against shields (where application matters a lot) Raiden E doesn't work at all. And while it has 0.9s cooldown you won't always hit so fast so usually Raiden skill still procs every Second once. Raidens Advantage is her AoE which is only really useful in Hyperbloom. In other scenarios it doesn't do too much. Raiden is better in Hyperbloom but so is Fischl in Aggravate. While she isn't good at Hyperbloom herself she is one of the best Supports for Hyperbloom. About battery: Yesn't. Raiden generates more Energy with the cost of on field time. While Fischl generates more energy from off field. This makes her often similar to Raiden in battery capabilties. And in a team like Fischl National vs. Raidennational (Their DPS is pretty similar) the Fischl variant can play the same or even less ER on Xiangling and Bennett than the Raiden Version because switching between Bennett and Xiangling to regenerate energy with Bennetts E will resotre more energy than an on field Raiden. But Xingqiu will profit from Raiden more. And the Raiden version is a lot easier to play and more consistent for many palyers. So if the team has a dedicated battery Raiden doesn't always give you more Energy in a team (but she is usually significantly easier to use than the teams with a lot of swaps)
I get your point for fischl but i think it totally contradicts what you said for ayaka and ganyu? There's an incosistency there. Because ganyu is so much more versatile than ayaka, ayaka can only be a main dps and only for freeze comps, ganyu not only works in both freeze and melt, she can also be sub-dps with her burst and a support with her passives. If ayaka still placed higher for doing more damage than ganyu, by this logic, then raiden deserved to be best electro too.
Yeah, seems like he just wants to be contrarian. I could also say Yaoyao is better than Nahida because she heals on top of dendro application. You can just pick and choose anything that fits. It's completely arbitrary and biased.
The problem is that genshin is support impact(cc/buff/off field dmg) And cryo has the cc and the buff within the element itself via freezing rn and what ganyu provides doesn't really outshine ayaka and cryo Also ayaka takes advantage of cryo element utility the most. Until we get a good support for cryo(hoping for cryo archon to be support honestly) it will be the same People might say shenhe but i think shenhe is just a sad unit and a halfass support/off field dmg dealer Her buffs is low compared to what freeze offers aswell In the end Yeah He's inconsistent about the ideas of why they are better but i agree on almost everything. The only problem i see is considering constellations for yelan but not for raiden.
Why did you pick and choose who you would use constellations for? if that was the case then you should have put c1 hu tao in pyro since she as dependent on xingque as xiangling to bennett and you get higher damage. bias much???? If youre gonna put fischl over raiden because of flexibility in team comps then shouldnt ganyu be above ayaka?
When you were talking about best geo character, I immediately thought of Albedo because of the EM boost and follow up that he provides - rather than yun jin, who i have only really seen in yoimiya teams. Also, Yelan's damage is not really a good enough reason to make her tie with xinqiu who can both heal, shield and shred resistance
@@Personpersonpersonperson umm idk where you are getting those misinformation from but C6 xingqiu and c0 yelan have basically the dmg if solo hydro. Yelan gets slightly better dmg if you use both together. So it's more hydro application, heal, resistance vs yelan a4 passive
If you think yelan's damage and damage buff aren't good, you're building her wrong or using her wrong. She has VERY high personal damage on top of amplifying an on-field dps. Elegy and simulacra both work amazingly on her. Xingqiu trades out damage for utility. If played optimally, yelan is going to be superior because you will not need xingqiu's defensive buffs. When used together, xingqiu is batterying and shredding hydro to benefit yelan. They're definitely on equal footing.
Yae Miko can already outperform Fischl, especially if constellations are involved. You mentioned that in Yelan's and XQ's case, so why not here? Also, Raiden has lots of utiliy too on the top of the DPS she provides, so i'd put her above every other electro character in the game, even if Fischl/ Yae works better with Dendro.
Fischl provides energy completely off field while raiden needs to be on field for most of her energy gen utility. Raiden also needs to be onfield to do dmg while fischl does it off field. Having the ability to do almost everything u can while taking minimal field time is a HUGE advantage which is also why fischl is favoured in alot more teams than raiden. Raidens dps at c0 isnt something to write home about. Its decent. Its not bad but its not great either. The only value raiden brings that foschl dosnt is the aoe electro app and the burst dmg bonus buff. AOE app is only relevant for the hyperbloom teams burst buff while is a nice to have, isnt that much of a dps increase in most cases. Fischl on the other hand have way higher electro app.
Benny, Water dude, Ayaya, Kazuboy, The One and Oni, Raiden, Naheehe is my list but... Zhongli is boring and DPS is king while true he can enable some teams to do more DPS, it doesn't outweigh the fact that you can have better supports and for mono geo, gorou is you main enabler with Itto's numbers carrying. I hate fiscle, I can never get her to work and don't plan on it when my Raiden is 100 times more consistent of an applicator. Xingqiu C6>C0 Yelan and you should never compare 5 star constellations with C6 4 stars, that should be taboo Besides those, I agree with the rest of the takes.
@@cybergamer__ honestly we should’ve seen it coming from the start cuz we already had enemies who can’t be pulled like the ruin guards, we should’ve expected more heavy enemies but for some reason we didn’t lol
Well he still is a cheat code on stages where he works. Like for example the potion event we had recently, venti was by far the best unit in the game to use there. Same goes for abyss floors of the same nature.
@@KYSNYAN Man, the early days where the Abyss chamber is just two ruin guards in one wave. if MHY brings the exact same thing back, it's going to be the easiest Abyss ever.
I do Agree with Fischl. Although you can just do same with Yelan and Xingqiu. Both at The top. But the Fischl's Placing makes me wonder why Miko is not their. Cuz Basically they do the same thing just Fischl being more accessible and Miko having more damage. But then again they do work together and they're formidable.
Miko’s optimal playstyle makes rotations too tight. She limits team work so much that it is better to use her as a quickswap main dps which makes her less flexible. But then she is the best electro in quicken teams so idk
Fischl and Raiden really doesn't have the same role whole Yelan and Xingqiu rather do that's probably why we can't have two of them on top which is reasonable. As for Miko vs Fischl well Fischl more electro app better energy recharge and her A4 in dendro teams is pretty pretty good
The inconsistent usage of considering five star constellations is really strange to me I like a lot of your videos but if you’re going to include yelan cons to say she’s better than xinqiu (debatable) then you should use cons for every other five star on the list or don’t use cons at all it’s kind of an unfair thing to do
Sorry but nothing can contest Shogun's utility, she can be used as a nuke and battery at the SAME TIME, she can also trigger hyperbloom, she has no problem with uptime with her skill and she provides extra damage to her teams burst. Just a mere damage bonus from Fishcl can't take that
I understand that Fishl is broken but you just need to take a look at the usage rates for the abyss and youll find that Raiden is picked at a much higher rate and not only for the recent abyss. Its obvious that Raiden is the supreme electro character considering she consistantly gets picked over Fishl. At least from a meta point of perspective.
Usage has no relation to meta strength. It's like defining the greatest song by record sales or radio play. Not going trick myself into thinking Justin Bieber is better then Mozart.
@@Ottobon your example is wrong. Your example shows popularity, not meta. I will give you another example. LeBron James can do almost everything in basketball but still Jordan is considered as a Goat. Abyss is hardest content in the game, if Shogun is always in top 3-5 most picked character than there is definitely something about that because popularity is not going to make you clear the Abyss. I do agree that fischl is 2nd best electro char
@@jinesh1077 Maybe your example shows just the popularity of Jordan ;) also as i said I like to look at data instead of listening to opinions because data is consistant opinions change. I guess we can agree to disagree on the topic...
@@jefighterthat's why I gave you data, that Abyss clear is not popularity contest. Top tier characters can make Abyss big easier that's why people use them. No wonder characters like Bennett, kazuha, nahida, xinque, raiden etc mostly have top 5 usage rate. It's not a coincidence.
HOT TAKE Nahida is a bit down as dendro applier for ego onfield DPS (worse if burst addict and they suffer energy issue if their uptime not fully spent) when tackling multiwave spawn challenges
I think I agree with the Fischl take even tho she’s not as plug and play as raiden for hyperbloom. Fischl is the unit you slot in a lot for off-field electro
I think the fischl pick is justified. She additionally has access to elegy, stringless, or even simply any stat stick and she will perform very well. Her energy requirements are basically zero, and she doesn't get screwed by elemental shields (small raiden weakness). Her off-field damage FAR surpasses shogun. Raiden needs a lot of fine tuning and investing in fischl will generally be easier and better until you REALLY refine raiden's artifacts for crit rolls.
I agree Alhaitham and Nahida is just too strong to pair together lol I just recently used them both at the same team during this abyss rotation and didnt know they can be so good together
I think you had a very good benchmark for what should determine the best of each, I agree with all of them personally, I have a semi unrelated thought, while I now some info is out I haven’t looked at it and I’m sure plenty here haven’t either, the thought being what is the hydro archon going to do, hydro’s roll in the game is largely that of enabler/driver, based on the resonance of the other elements (except for Anemo) it would be easy to predict any of the archons baseline kit focus would be but hydros is more for what a lot of there units scale off of
Anema - Kazuha (swirl king makes him a flex pick for so many teams and his e skill is a double jump) Pyro - Bennett (more flexible than Hu Tao, so he can fit in more team comps) Hydro - Yelan (XQ but better and her e-skill sprint is unmatched in terms of ground mobility) Electro - Fischl (more flexible than Shogun) Cryo - Ganyu (bow puzzles. There's no other reason I pick her over Ayaka) Geo - Zhongli Dendro - Nahida You'll notice that all the picks either serve as supports (elemental app, swirl, healing, ER, shield) or b) have utility outside of combat. Being a DPS machine is great, but if that's all a unit like Hu Tao can do then she won't be the single best pick for her element.
You really didn't bring anything new to the table .. Benny Nahida Yalan zhongli etc.. We already know they are the best by looking at the usage rate in the abyss .. I thought you would classify them based on who uses their element the best or something like that ..
It's one of the better C1s in the game as it also enables 100pct ult uptime with very little investment. It's not saying too much, but you never really need to swap off her for anything in the overworld. She's very easy to build compared to XQ, and if you have it, her weapon is one of the best in the game. Just an all around powerhouse.
The off field damage and em buff is so nice for hyperbloom and I've even been using him with archaic petra in Keqing aggravate instead of Kazuha. People really sleep on him.
if this top was made up of chinese meta players, they would put yelan and next to her kokomi and not xingqiu, because in solo aoe abyss, the two most popular teams are yelan teams in solo target situations ( rational, yoimiya, quickbloom ) and Kokomi in aoe (freeze, nilou bloom) so don't worry, the more advanced meta community appreciates Kokomi very much.
@@lolihunterpro thats quite the cope take honestly. Xq is arguably the best unit in the game due to everything hes providing. Kokomi literally has only 2 teams where shes bis in,freeze and nilou bloom. Even in those teams kokomi isnt always the bis due to mona being better if u can one rotate a chamber in freeze and yaoyao for nilou bloom can be better if u care more about survivability which is a big deal in a team thats actively trying to kill you. Yelan is on tier similar xq unlike rest of the hydro units due to how good dpuble hydro comps in general is and how demanding xq is in terms of team building.
@@deltaspecies1697 this is not my opinion, this is the usual opinion of players from Chinese forums. By the way, I feel the influence of one not very pleasant streamer in your words, or is it just me?
@@lolihunterpro well cn tc and gl tc have very different standards and cn tc community has been known to underestimate 4* units more than the gl community. I dont really know who ur referring to. I usually hang around the kqm,wfp discords as my main source of tc info and as for streamers amd content creators mostly watch jstern,TGS and cuz i just dont really like doing the calcs myself and sometimes watch zajeff but thats pretty much it.
@@deltaspecies1697 they don't really underestimate 4* characters, it's just that genshin is a bigger game in china, with a larger audience reach, f2p predominates in the global community, which is why the opinion of 4* characters is much higher, to the point that 5* characters are often underestimated , on the other hand, in China, the strength of the character is estimated in a global sense, how useful the character is in all elements of the game (open world, abyss, events), how useful the character is at all investment levels, how useful the character will be for players who move from one investment level to another ( f2p team to whale team ) and so on.
So, instead of now asking for a list based of the worst of each element, i'm curious to ask what characters from each element is your favorite to play?
I'll make my own right here: Pyro: dunno honestly but Diluc and/or Hu Tao; Diluc alternating between skill and normal attack is fun (even though he's so painfully slow) while seeing Hu Tao dash around the enemies is also fun!!! Hydro: Yelan and/or Mona; Yelan's skill and animations are so fun to use while Mona feels so agile with beautiful attack effects. Electro: Lisa; hands down the most unique playstyle ever out of every character + She literally laughs at her enemies because she knows how strong she is + "You're in for a little shock~" + -she's hot- Cryo: Layla; sleep and let the star slugs do everything for you. Geo: Noelle; she's so badass and I just solo everything with an R5 Favonius Greatsword + "Leave it all to me!" + "Time to clean up!" Anemo: Kazuha; I don't have him but his skill is super fun to use Dendro: Alhaitham; Very very cool mechanics and visuals + "SEII!" + -he's hot-
My main Abyss team is Yae Miko, Nahida, Kokomi and Kazuha. Thanks to Nahida and Kazuha, my Yae Miko goes to 950 EM and my Kokomi goes to 1250 EM. Aggravate, Blooms, Hyperblooms do insane dmg. I can finish any chamber on floor 12 in less than a minute with them.
A very agreeable list imo. Yes, Fischl is the best electro character because Shogun's kit was copied from her since they're both electro batteries except Fischl is more versatile.
shoguns battery capabilities are miles better than fischl. also shoguns burst is completely different than fischls dont know what ur talking abt when u say “raidens kit was copied from fischl”
I might be the only one who never felt pressured to get Kazuha since I have a built Jean and venti. Kazuha only provides damage support but I have not needed more damage to beat the abyss. I usually need survivability so I use Jean or better crowd control so I use venti.
Venti is even good against big enemies. You just have to be smarter with how you use him. He does great with aggravate and swirl on large targets. He's one of the best applicators in the game (for the 4 absorbable elements) and is a godsend in spiral abyss. I just wish he had better DPS playstyles. Edit: Zhongli can also function like a more clunky Kazuha if you use Archaic Petra. He gives a bit of damage with Tenacity.
I'd say it depends on the heavy enemy in question, whether they can be pulled at all or not (and the speed, as the pulls some better than others), the amount of them (he is just ok in single target), and how much they move around (if they move around too much, playing smart wont even help too much, because they can easily leave the burst). I do agree that he is great in aggravate, and applying swirlable elements. I'd say he's also pretty underrated in hyperbloom
For Cryo, I think while ayaka is the best dps, ganyu is probably a little better. She has better off field appliacation, comparable damage, but more playstyles.
Hard disagree. Ganyu is fine in her own right, but her being theoretically more versatile doesn't excuse her lack of ability to succeed in a specific niche the same way Ayaka does. Ganyu is probably what one would call "Jack of all trades, master of none", except there's no reason you'd need a cryo character to be versatile. Cryo isn't an enabling element like Dendro/Hydro, so her being versatile doesn't substantially help with team building. She's objectively worse in freeze than Ayaka, and in melt she's decent but nothing special. As a 2nd cryo (aka as a burst bot), Shenhe is just better. She's just mid everywhere, and her being cryo doesn't help her unlock enough team options to compensate for her lack of niche. Ayaka is the prime example of a cryo character who abuses everything that's good about cryo, and I believe that's what makes a character the "best character in x element": Their kit specializes in what's good about their element.
@@beaniemave Very good explanation, I think ganyus off field properties are quite niche and overrated. Honestly Layla is a better offield character than Ganyu. In freeze teams ganyus taunt is basically pointless except for the cryo app, and her burst is very inaccurate. Yes it does have 100% uptime but the damage isn’t that amazing since most icicles completely miss the target. The fact that her cryo damage bonus buff from her burst isn’t nearly as great as somebody like Shenhe. Also going back to Layla, she has the 2nd best shield in the game, no need for a taunt, and also her burst is very similar to ganyu, and it only has 40 energy cost and 100% uptime as well. The cryo element really relys on freeze, and ayakas kit fits it much better. Ganyus in a weird spot, her damage is good, but not as good as ayakas. Her off field supportive features are okay, but not as good as diona, Shenhe, Layla etc. if you want an offield damage she’s okay, but not as good as xiangling, yelan, xingqui etc. there really isn’t a situation where she is the best character. And like you said, the cryo element itself isn’t versatile enough to want the benefit from ganyus offield burst and taunt
Also, about Mika. He's not even an Eula support, even at C6. His kit is clunky, his buffs are dependadn on the amoun of enemies, his healing is too low for Clam, his buffs are only for active characcter (say goodbye to switching early for some enemies before they run away or dig underground), and attack speed is worthless for Eula, giving only 1 bonus stack for burst. If his atk speed buff at least removed hitlag then he would be at least decent. In total - 3.5 is a version of all time.
Fischl is definitely the correct choice, her electro application is second-to-none with 100% uptime and she has no field time requirements, as well as supplying ample electro particles from off-field. If we go by Electro's theme of machine gun application + energy recharge, she has all bases covered. If Raiden's had better electro application that made her viable as an Aggravate carry, then it'd be her no doubt, but then she'd be replacing Yae, Cyno, and Keqing in that role.
Being the "best" is always subjective, so I'm glad you went down a generalist route. It's certainly a very hard toss up between Raiden/fischl and Yelan/Xingqiu. I could understand arguments for either As kits are bound to get much more niche (like nilou for instance), I don't doubt that these characters will probably remain at the top as great all-around generalists within their respective element - Cryo being the odd one out for now
By your own metrics, I'd say that the best picks for cryo should've ironically been Kaeya and Rosaria instead because, sure, for freeze teams Ayaka might be the best, but freeze has been benched pretty hard since 3.0 both due to dendro's power and Hoyoverse actively gimping it, whereas some newer teams mixing dendro in have emerged, but for those situations, off field application is key, so Kaeya and Rosaria are the most popular picks, perhaps with Ganyu also showing up every now and then
Kaeya and Roaaria struggle greatly from small dps windows enemies, so why not Chongyun then? He is great regardless of the type of enemy you are facing.
When you mention Zhongli make the game feels like easy mode due to his shield is true but sadly alot misunderstood euch sentiment and often forget thanks to his shield player that have c0 Hu Tao don't have to worry about get 1 shot from attack that nearly impossible to avoid when your stamina at 0, you can see why character where their main dmg is from charge attack need someone like Zhongli or Diona as budget Zhongli in their team very often.
I personally disagree with the way you've discussed Xinqui's and Yelan's constellations . Yes , Yelan's constellations are really powerfull but due to her being a 5 star with only 1 rerun most people will not have acces to them unless they get really lucky or spent money . In comparison Xinqui's is a launch 4 star character present in the monthly Paimon's shop rotaion ( his 6th appearance coming up ) , meaning that with the shop , the Lantern Rite pick a 4 star and the time an event gave him for free day 1 players could get C7 XQ even if they somehow never got him during pulls
but she has constellations, and they can be obtained with a guarantee, each of which will make her stronger, much stronger, while it is IMPOSSIBLE to get c6 xingqiu without luck! especially given the number of characters that are currently in the game, for example, I have c4 kuki and c3 nahida, so ignoring the constellations of 5 * characters is stupid. and while I was lucky, because the last time I got only her, on the other hand I don’t have a single Lila.
@@lolihunterpro I’m in total agreement with your argument. I was just trying to point out how ridiculous and outdated the arguments are that 4*, even the ones I’m the shop, are free or cheaper than 5* characters.
I would give best Cryo to Ganyu. Ayaka is very dependent on Freeze, while Ganyu can use freeze OR melt. Ganyu can be on field or off field sub-DPS while Ayaka is only a DPS. Ayaka only contributes damage, Ganyu has damage and support. Melt ganyu’s DPS is also extremely high, so she’s not far behind Ayaka if at all.
Ayaka takes the most advantage and benefits from the cryo elements over ganyu. Ayaka freeze does more damage than ganyu freeze or melt, not to mention how much easier it is to achieve freeze than reverse melt. Ganyu lacks a niche, she can do good cryo damage damage, but not as good as ayaka, she can do okay off field damage, but not as good as literally most other sub dps character. She can kinda support but not as good as Shenhe, Ganyu is just good or okay at lots of difference aspects but she lacks a certain niche that she can take most advantage out of. Cryos not a demanding element , and isn’t as versatile as hydro, dendro, electro etc. you have to build a team specifically around cryo users, and ayaka takes most advantage out of it.
Fischl is not better than Raiden, sorry dude. You had a big talk about how Nahida represents everything dendro stands for, but in electro you say that Fischl, who is a glorified turret is better than Raiden. I love Fischl, even more thank Shogun, but no way in hell she is better. Raiden represents what electro really is. She deal damage, boost teammates burst damage, have consistant off-field aoe electro application, while recharging the energy of the entire team. How is Fischl better again?
Personally in my opinion I think for geo I agree that zhongli is in 1st place but i also think you should’ve put albedo at 2nd or honorable mention since he’s also somewhat universal?
Technically Nahida shares 25% of the EM of whoever has the highest EM in the party, not her own. In my case, she shares Shinobu's EM.

They really need to allow venti to pull largers enemies like ruin guards, not where the float but are pulled to the center. I mean he threw mountains to form the archipelago.
lore accurate venti supremacy
You can if you freeze them. venti is common in freeze teams so it works out.
Especially with Ayaka
wait what? I thought that was Zhongli who threw stuff against the sea monster that formed the archipelago, or is there a second one?
Zhongli formed the guyun stone forest

Yeh like if u need a meta dps its only ganyu and ayaka which i dont have 😂
I agree, notice how in all other elements the best character is a sub-dps and/or support (benny, zhongli, kazuha, raiden/fischl, xingqiu/yelan & nahida) but in cryo the chosen one was a main dps, it feels odd.
@@usubenidango Nah i think its still ayaka.

P.S. I'm not saying she's better than Zhongli lmao
not that many characters benefit from yun jin in their teams though, which is sad to me cuz i really wanted her buffs to be more impactful
The only characters that benefits from Yun Jin are Yoimiya and Noelle, don't @ me saying Ayato. Ayato's hypercarry teams are really bad, Ayato is way better when used as a driver in teams like Soup, hyperbloom and taser, the difference is massive.
@@sankaranarayanan4479 yeah all of those teams are better for ayato, but can't deny yunjin is one of his best supports
Meanwhile characters you mentioned feel as if they need her the point is Yun is still good elsewhere. She opens options that work well enough for the simple fun of it. No cope

If you are basing this on what character represents their respective element best that's fine, but if that's the case then Xingqiu is undeniably the best hydro character.
yeah his electro choice was horrible
@@junyaiwase I wouldn't say the choice is horrible. It's just his reasoning is inconsistent for that part.
100% agree. Even though I'm a huge Fischl fan I don't think she deserves the title. She just doesn't work well enough in AOE/hyperbloom teams for that. Also, I really think he should have set a specific investment level before making the choices precisely to avoid situations like this Xingqiu/Yelan one
I see electro as the battery element. Fischl is really good, but Raiden is just the best representation for electro.

Hydro is so packed in terms of meta characters its hilarious.

Raiden over fischl for me, her skill has no downtime + burst energy CD for all party members is big
If played correctly, oz has no downtime; fischl batteries very well especially for electro(outisde of electro raiden is probably better tho) and CD reduction is only on raiden c6 so not

Fischl can fit in more electro-related teams and deal respectable damage, (Ex. aggravate, quickbloom, electrocharge, soup) and she can double down as battery too.
you are objectively incorrect about both Raiden and Yelan
@@ryzhik9608 good to know
@@AnimeGeniuss Raiden is only optimal as electro hypercarry, overvape enabler in Rational, and hyperbloom enabler and I wouldn't call her hypercarry and rational playstyles flexible since you will need to build your team around her because she demands long enough field time with her burst.
My Pick

Geo : Zhongli
Cryo : Ayaka
Pyro : Bennett
Anemo : Kazuha
Dendro : Nahida
Electro : Fischl
Hydro : Xingqiu/Yelan/Kokomi
Fischl may have been buffed slightly more than raiden with dendro but as an individual entity not only was raiden buffed but she embodiies the key aspect of electro, the energy recharge aspect, along with the overwhelming damage aspect. Ultimately, any burst centric team is ameliorated greatly by raiden, even without her driving it and just sitting there silently with her elemental skill active. Plus, raiden's skill activating on damage is great for things like nahida comps where you can chain the coordinated attacks on enemies on the other side of the room through her skill
somehow I knew the choice would be fishcl over raiden

*ELECTRO,* the element of eternity, energy, and ER, covered by the bullet-like consistency of Fischl and Oz's energy generation. (Though Raiden's skill also does this to a lesser degree)
*DENDRO,* the element of wisdom, catalysis, and EM, embraced by Nahida being a catalyst and unique 1.5U Dendro applicator with her skill and EM sharing.

Overall i feel like Fischl works more as a Keqing/Beidou/Yae support more than anything else, or you could use her in some quickbloom teams with Nahida but that's pretty much it
I am quite conflicted about electro, i know fischl is quite good especially after dendro, but she is only good in aggravate teams, her passive doesn't even work in spread teams as often as it does, but Raiden is great in Aggravate, Spread, Hypebloom and After dendro's release you can even play hyper Raiden and get about same damage no. even without c6 Sara, replacing Sara with any other dendro character.
@@fzhs7030 i don't think any single charecter carries the whole reaction, i think Nahida is as close to as Must pull character can be, even she doesn't carry the whole reaction herself. Fischl is not great everywhere - hyperblooms. It was never about c2 raiden or c0 but replacement of Sara in raiden hypercarry. And yes i am not aware of aggravate and spread dmg, enlighten me.
@@fzhs7030 There is no doubt about fischl in aggravate teams, i agree. In salad you will be using sucrose who will be carrying the the hyperbloom, but fischl will be good because her passive can be proc'd easily.
And about aggravate, i was able to do 15 normal attacks in raidens burst after initial hit, i checked on reddit Raiden mains, a c0 Normal raiden will do around 160K dmg with c6 sara, if built really nicely can do 200k, Mine was able to do 168k with TTDS Nahida, my raidens cdmg was 157 after catch's bonus so not that much, also Raiden did total of 452k dmg with TTDS Nahida vs 392K with TTDS Lisa.
@@fzhs7030 you might be right, i really am not the Tc person, i did experiment with Hypercarry raiden when Nahida came and dmg was higher but i also understand that Raiden needs c2 for her hypercarry. It was not about c2 Raiden but reaching as close to that dmg as possible as f2p without c6 sara.
Also my comments might have given you impression in such a way that led you to believe that i dislike fischl or something like that, far from it i like her a lot, i just like Raiden more. But you do not need to waste your time in TC if you are not interested , but if you are interested in knowing the team performance of those teams, then i am also interested in knowing the same.
@@fzhs7030 That's quite good. I am assuming raiden would be using Normal build and weapon catch or Dragonsbane?
@@fzhs7030 Hyperbloom is something else only. Its just after playing with hyperbloom for about a year, i want to play other comps as well. Its also quite troubling sometimes that to play some wacky team comp you need to build those characters really well.
The problem with Fischl is her complete lack of aoe and the fact that in certain teams and agains very mobile enemies Oz is very unreliable
And while thank goodness you can reposition Oz... you have to switch in and out of her and don't get an extra instance of electro application or damage during that window which always feels bad. I always try to reposition with her burst.
I would like to give an honorable mention to Albedo for his decent off field damage and 30sec duration his def scaling making him easy to gear, and his 125 em buff for reaction teams
I feel Albedo should have at least gotten the honorable mention for geo. He can be used in almost any situation that I've found.
He doesn't fully represent the geo element's identity though. He simply deploys a damage field and occasionak EM boost, which aren't exclusive to geo.
Albedo is shit outside mono geo
The problem is that genshin is support impact(cc/buff/off field dmg)
And cryo has the cc and the buff within the element itself via freezing rn and what ganyu provides doesn't really outshine ayaka and cryo
Also ayaka takes advantage of cryo element utility the most.
Until we get a good support for cryo(hoping for cryo archon to be support honestly) it will be the same
People might say shenhe but i think shenhe is just a sad unit and a halfass support/off field dmg dealer
Her buffs is low compared to what freeze offers aswell
In the end
Yeah
He's inconsistent about the ideas of why they are better but i agree on almost everything.
The only problem i see is considering constellations for yelan but not for raiden.
I love ur voice, its so soothing and calming
Why did you pick and choose who you would use constellations for? if that was the case then you should have put c1 hu tao in pyro since she as dependent on xingque as xiangling to bennett and you get higher damage. bias much????
If youre gonna put fischl over raiden because of flexibility in team comps then shouldnt ganyu be above ayaka?
Kokomi needs an honorable mention, she's a very flexible character
When you were talking about best geo character, I immediately thought of Albedo because of the EM boost and follow up that he provides - rather than yun jin, who i have only really seen in yoimiya teams. Also, Yelan's damage is not really a good enough reason to make her tie with xinqiu who can both heal, shield and shred resistance
Xingqiu only shreds hydro res. Although I agree xingqiu alone should be on top
Yelan does about double the damage, can carry elegy, and has the 50% dmg bonus to the onfielder. Its a fricken lot.
Nah she also has her a4 passive that buffs the onfield character so yh they should be tied
Guessing geo/zhongli - Anemo/Kazuha - Pyro/Bennett - Cryo/Ayaka - Electro-Raiden - Dendro/nahida - Hydro/Yelan
The thing is this: Fischl also works as a battery
He is right and you are right i think it just comes down to personal opinion and preference on this one
@@Unwebonnn So does raiden?
@@KYSNYAN Yeah, but does Raiden work as a sub dps in aggravate?

Clear favorism ,he only naming that he loves playing
Miko’s optimal playstyle makes rotations too tight. She limits team work so much that it is better to use her as a quickswap main dps which makes her less flexible. But then she is the best electro in quicken teams so idk
@@bst6677 You sound like you're just salty that he didn't rate any of your favorite characters lol, it's not that serious man.
Fischl and Raiden really doesn't have the same role whole Yelan and Xingqiu rather do that's probably why we can't have two of them on top which is reasonable. As for Miko vs Fischl well Fischl more electro app better energy recharge and her A4 in dendro teams is pretty pretty good
Miko doesn't do more damage than fischl... smh
Hearing when mother was there in the background made me smile so hard
The inconsistent usage of considering five star constellations is really strange to me I like a lot of your videos but if you’re going to include yelan cons to say she’s better than xinqiu (debatable) then you should use cons for every other five star on the list or don’t use cons at all it’s kind of an unfair thing to do
Yeah the way he compares c0 raiden to c6 fischl
Sorry but nothing can contest Shogun's utility, she can be used as a nuke and battery at the SAME TIME, she can also trigger hyperbloom, she has no problem with uptime with her skill and she provides extra damage to her teams burst. Just a mere damage bonus from Fishcl can't take that
Eh, youre not using Raiden as a battery, but I agree she's better than Fischl
@@jinesh1077 Doesnt that prove my point?
HOT TAKE
Nahida is a bit down as dendro applier for ego onfield DPS (worse if burst addict and they suffer energy issue if their uptime not fully spent) when tackling multiwave spawn challenges
Same! They just murder everything especially if you use hyperbloom
I think you had a very good benchmark for what should determine the best of each, I agree with all of them personally,
I have a semi unrelated thought, while I now some info is out I haven’t looked at it and I’m sure plenty here haven’t either, the thought being what is the hydro archon going to do, hydro’s roll in the game is largely that of enabler/driver, based on the resonance of the other elements (except for Anemo) it would be easy to predict any of the archons baseline kit focus would be but hydros is more for what a lot of there units scale off of
Anema - Kazuha (swirl king makes him a flex pick for so many teams and his e skill is a double jump)
Pyro - Bennett (more flexible than Hu Tao, so he can fit in more team comps)
Hydro - Yelan (XQ but better and her e-skill sprint is unmatched in terms of ground mobility)
Electro - Fischl (more flexible than Shogun)
Cryo - Ganyu (bow puzzles. There's no other reason I pick her over Ayaka)
Geo - Zhongli
Dendro - Nahida
You'll notice that all the picks either serve as supports (elemental app, swirl, healing, ER, shield) or b) have utility outside of combat. Being a DPS machine is great, but if that's all a unit like Hu Tao can do then she won't be the single best pick for her element.
"What he lacks in raw power" for kazuha
meanwhile, my C6 Kazuha built as a DPS carrying my spiral abyss rotations
You really didn't bring anything new to the table .. Benny Nahida Yalan zhongli etc.. We already know they are the best by looking at the usage rate in the abyss .. I thought you would classify them based on who uses their element the best or something like that ..
People need to admit the truth, Ayaka is just a Cryo Catalyst character
For me Yelan already wins the duel just because she makes exploring soooo much nicer especially c1 as you have 1 E every 5 seconds
I think it’s undersold how well Albedo still performs outside of mono geo
The off field damage and em buff is so nice for hyperbloom and I've even been using him with archaic petra in Keqing aggravate instead of Kazuha. People really sleep on him.
Kokomi being underrated as always as a hydro unit. Should be at least in honourable mention.
if this top was made up of chinese meta players, they would put yelan and next to her kokomi and not xingqiu, because in solo aoe abyss, the two most popular teams are yelan teams in solo target situations ( rational, yoimiya, quickbloom ) and Kokomi in aoe (freeze, nilou bloom) so don't worry, the more advanced meta community appreciates Kokomi very much.

In my opinion, venti is always easier to use than kazuha, because his crowd control is larger, longer and off field. And venti does way more damage
So, instead of now asking for a list based of the worst of each element, i'm curious to ask what characters from each element is your favorite to play?
I'll make my own right here:
Pyro: dunno honestly but Diluc and/or Hu Tao; Diluc alternating between skill and normal attack is fun (even though he's so painfully slow) while seeing Hu Tao dash around the enemies is also fun!!!
Hydro: Yelan and/or Mona; Yelan's skill and animations are so fun to use while Mona feels so agile with beautiful attack effects.
Electro: Lisa; hands down the most unique playstyle ever out of every character + She literally laughs at her enemies because she knows how strong she is + "You're in for a little shock~" + -she's hot-
Cryo: Layla; sleep and let the star slugs do everything for you.
Geo: Noelle; she's so badass and I just solo everything with an R5 Favonius Greatsword + "Leave it all to me!" + "Time to clean up!"
Anemo: Kazuha; I don't have him but his skill is super fun to use
Dendro: Alhaitham; Very very cool mechanics and visuals + "SEII!" + -he's hot-
With the introduction of dendro shogun has seen more used i think fiscal choice is to please the TC community
11:38 and thats is why Yae Miko is so broken with her.
Her totems attack at random which doesnt matter, everything will take the same dmg. 😎
Yae Miko and Nahida work so well together, hands down.
Me who uses afk overworld team: Noelle Albedo Yae Raiden ;D
My main Abyss team is Yae Miko, Nahida, Kokomi and Kazuha.
Thanks to Nahida and Kazuha, my Yae Miko goes to 950 EM and my Kokomi goes to 1250 EM.
Aggravate, Blooms, Hyperblooms do insane dmg.
I can finish any chamber on floor 12 in less than a minute with them.
Jeez, I sure hope this wont be controversial
Haha we same answer. FISCHL!!!!!!!!!
Fishl: off field electro application! Yay-
Miko: *Am I a joke to you?”*
@@thelakes_s Fischl and Raiden are similar like Xingqiu and Yelan except it's less obvious. Shogun is just the damage oriented version of Fischl.
Too bad she's super boring to play
My Zhongli carries Deepwood in Tighnari's spread team 😂😂😂
I'd say it depends on the heavy enemy in question, whether they can be pulled at all or not (and the speed, as the pulls some better than others), the amount of them (he is just ok in single target), and how much they move around (if they move around too much, playing smart wont even help too much, because they can easily leave the burst).
I do agree that he is great in aggravate, and applying swirlable elements. I'd say he's also pretty underrated in hyperbloom
Nice video, also which is the song playing in the background? I think it is from Persona but I can't remember which song it is
For Cryo, I think while ayaka is the best dps, ganyu is probably a little better. She has better off field appliacation, comparable damage, but more playstyles.
agreed
but her other playstyles are relatively replaceable while freeze isn't. And in Freeze Ayaka is so much better than Ganyu
Yeah, Mika is a solution to problems Eula doesn't have. She wants a non-anemo grouper and something to help with shields. He provides neither.
@@Axterix13 Or physical Sub-Dps. Cause if Itto have Albedo, then why doesn't Eula have... physical Albedo?
Fischl is definitely the correct choice, her electro application is second-to-none with 100% uptime and she has no field time requirements, as well as supplying ample electro particles from off-field. If we go by Electro's theme of machine gun application + energy recharge, she has all bases covered. If Raiden's had better electro application that made her viable as an Aggravate carry, then it'd be her no doubt, but then she'd be replacing Yae, Cyno, and Keqing in that role.
We might as well remove Fischl and just keep Oz instead, she's just there as a servant to summon him lmaooo
Yae's barely got any field time if you use her well. And she makes up for it from her damage and multi target application.
Being the "best" is always subjective, so I'm glad you went down a generalist route. It's certainly a very hard toss up between Raiden/fischl and Yelan/Xingqiu. I could understand arguments for either
As kits are bound to get much more niche (like nilou for instance), I don't doubt that these characters will probably remain at the top as great all-around generalists within their respective element - Cryo being the odd one out for now
By your own metrics, I'd say that the best picks for cryo should've ironically been Kaeya and Rosaria instead because, sure, for freeze teams Ayaka might be the best, but freeze has been benched pretty hard since 3.0 both due to dendro's power and Hoyoverse actively gimping it, whereas some newer teams mixing dendro in have emerged, but for those situations, off field application is key, so Kaeya and Rosaria are the most popular picks, perhaps with Ganyu also showing up every now and then
Kaeya and Roaaria struggle greatly from small dps windows enemies, so why not Chongyun then?
@@lolihunterpro just make 100 wishes for starglitter and you might have enough for one Xingqiu constellation every 6 months
This is so misleading lol. Think about new players or onward from 3.0.
@@Aaron_Kuroiwa you're right dude, I forgot about it, so I will advise beginners so that after 4 years they can finally get themselves c6 Xingqiu.
Personally in my opinion I think for geo I agree that zhongli is in 1st place but i also think you should’ve put albedo at 2nd or honorable mention since he’s also somewhat universal?
i only watch this video to hear Raiden Shogun is the best!
now iam dissapointed
7/7 guessed em all right
We really on the same wavelenght Vars
