Just a tip for ur scope. The one u use can be changed by pressing alt+right click while in aim. Chose 3 or 4 I think. They are way more stable and the dot doesn't move as much as the one ur using.
hey you can click out of a heal to cancel for those extra tarkovy moments also when you want to stabilize a shot shift while ads-ing will stop the sway kinda like the hold breathe for sniping in other games but this stretches to all gun types also to loo quickly shift left click and alt left click will either equip it or throw it the your bag

7.62x39 PS is actually really strong and will pen up to level 3 armor; but most importantly it does pretty high damage to level 4 armor, which is the most prevalent class in the game. It also does a reasonable amount of damage to level 5 armor. It's the best budget cartridge and, despite being very cheap, is nothing to scoff at. That being said, BP is much, much better and easily some of the best ammo in the game. Not only does it do high damage, but it pens up to level 4 and does high armor damage all the way up to class 6 armor. A Vepr with BP is a force to be reckoned with in the early game, and if you can afford even just 3 mags of it, it's worth it. I wiped many geared squads with a naked 7.62x39 Vepr and BP. Also don't forget your nades.
Just found this series its kinda cool to hear the thought process of a new player as this was me 3 months ago. I think this series is great and you do a great job narrating your thoughts and giving great insight to new people. Keep it up man
For extra info that not everyone knows: when your armor decrease in armor points, the actual armor class also gets reduced. So if you got a low hp armor in comparison to its max armor points, the armor class will be lowered even tho the game won't show it... Example: a armor class4 armored vest that has 80 max points, gets reduced to 30 points. That means it will count as an armor class 2 (roughly). Hope I explained it OK xD
Just a bit of advice, not sure if you knew this, but you can repair your armour by right-clicking on it and paying rubles (not sure if that has changed in the recent updates), and you can take certain weapons like the MP-5/7 and remove the magazine to reduce the storage size of the guns.
The sounds for Tarkov are amazing. They went through the trouble to make a unique sound for everything, you can even best the bullet casings hit something after shooting.
It's a good habit when you bring multiple types of meds, like for example bringing AI-2 + a CAR medkit use CAR to stop bleeding and the AI-2 to heal up the actual damage taken.
I'm an experienced player, max traders and over 300 hours, and I manually drag meds most of the time because it's advantageous. The reason it's better is because the only two health pools that really matter are the head and chest (the vitals); if you lose either, you die. Hitting the hotkey seems to randomly heal health pools with no methodology other than to stop bleeding first and then heal whatever limb has the least HP. That mechanic is problematic because often your arms, stomach, and legs have less HP than your chest, so when you press the hotkey to heal, you heal a non-vital limb instead. To solve this you just go into the health menu and drag the med to your head/chest. Although it seems paradoxical, this is the most effective way to heal mid-combat because you prevent one-tap deaths by ensuring your chest/head are at 100% HP.

The “high” recoil guns dont have alot have recoil, the first couple of shots go above target but if u keep on spraying the recoil should stablize while having some horizontal recoil tho
They still have very high recoil until you level the recoil control, weapon skill, and gain mastery levels. Even a fully-kitted best-in-slot-recoil FAL is nigh useless in full auto at low assault rifle skill. Even the automatic recoil stabilization isn't enough to bring your shots on target with the FAL at low recoil control skill levels. If you don't believe me, try it out in the hideout and tell me how consistently you can hit the furthest steel target on full auto vs. semi auto.
this is a fun series, i enjoy tarkov an its fun watching people play it. Would it be possible to see you go more in depth with how you loot, mod your gun, and handle your inventory? Some of the non combat aspects of the game are my favorite lol excited to see where you this series takes you, this was a great episode
1. 59 POV is the best for aim and accuracy. 2. you dont need to sprint to do the shortcut at the beginning of the video. 3. repair armour so that you an have full durability. 4. alt+right click will toggle through different recticles on the MRS you were using on the AKM 5. the thing you found in the med bag in the gas station was worth 80k in a one slot lol
Tip: open EFT wiki on your browser and search of ammo. U then can choose the caliber and sort all the ammo types for armor pen, damage, bullet velocity, etc. Very useful
Glad to see you explaining a bit more about bullet calibers and ballistics! Guess a should’ve watched this one before commenting on last weeks video! Anyone needing better info on penetration and damage values for bullets should check out the Tarkov Wiki or the Battle Buddy app by Veritas.
Great video mate, Just so you know you had a gun with much recoil (you mitigated it fairly well but it still has a bunch). You mentioned at the end maybe standing still. You would improve your spray control massively with crouching, and even more from laying prone. The guy who go you dropped prone behind the floor/geography and stood up again after you stopped shooting. And as some other people mentioned, you want to repair your armor :P
You have alot to learn about the game but most of us are still learning. You have some great raw talent, can't wait to see your vids and the progress you've made once you know what the hell youre doing lol. Keep it up!
Loving the videos on tarkov (ophthalmoscope) the item you found in the gas station is relatively rare and a necessary item later in the game, also as was said someone previously armor should be repaired for max protection. Keep it up tarkov is unforgiving LOL

Upping your Field of View can throw off the zeroing of many scopes due to the vertical stretching that occurs, i dont remember but you may end up shooting either higher or lower than youre aiming at nearly all times.
Yes, keep going. Really liking this and hoping for more. TBH, I was hoping that you would do more than just flight around in BF. Don't get me wrong, I love those vids, too. little tip .. the red dot if you alt right click to change it from the dot you will have better luck with accuracy the single dot floats around alot when you move, great video though :) enjoyed it alot
In case you didn’t know tarkov has its own recoil control system which is why you see people firing full auto your recoil control skill changes the amount it effects the recoil
literally all i take now are ak 74s, 74ms and akms... budget and effective. throw in a 60 round mag, bring a backup, nice ap ammo, easy loot. also, big tips, dont sprint on that blue car portapotty jump. it hurts you more than anything. you need to look from the top of the containers like the ones in the garage you had the key for, you cant open them from the bottom, jumping up the left side works. peeking slowly is great and all but its better to just peek quickly especially when you have good ears, slow peeks means the enemy can see and line a shot on you faster than you can clear where they are. chances are they will either push quickly like you, or camp in a room on their own, both win against slow peekers.
Funny thing is that an AK loaded with the best ammo in a drum mag isn’t going to do dick diddly against my rat ass with a scoped Mosin firing far behind your effective range from a sniper tower that I can’t physically be seen in kek

If you want to try guns out without wasting money or ammo and you haven't unlocked the firing range yet you can run offline mode. Gear up and select your pmc like you are entering raid, select map, time and next, next, click enable offline mode for this map box then click enable pve box and then pick the AI settings you want. Anything you use in offline mode doesn't get lost if you die. This is also how you can explore and learn maps while practicing with bots or just explore without bots.
one way to get gear easy is just to go into woods with a mosin with the kochetov PU mount and 7n1 ammo, it will 1 tap most people and if you want to be more sneaky put the bramit silencer on
as others have said please repair the armor, also even if you don't have the shooting range you can still go in offline mode to try out your guns. love the vids keep it up!
Middle mouse button will examine items you don't know, delete key/backspace for quick discard during raid. And I'm sure u know control and other buttons does stuff...
For budget ammo PS actually is pretty decent. Its not the best, but if you can go for headshots, or spray into someone with lower to medium teir body armor. You can still can stand a solid chance. Its when you get to people with armor strength 5 or 6 that they really can start tanking your shots. Also yes, more Tarkov please!
Yo if you hold control or alt then click on the item you wanna move its instantly move their item from there player to yours. Example: you dont have a backpack and you kill someone hold alt then click BAM it's on your player
I enjoyed your video! You seem to be a fun guy with some gaming skills! But plz, prepare for raids better - maintain your armor and do not forget to eat and keep yourself hydrated. The rest will come with time and... unsuccessfull raids :P
And no! Plz! Never stand still. As far as I remember, it is irrelevant if you are moving or not while you shoot. So move a lil bit, you shouldn't be an easy target
For a relatively new Tarkov player you did surprisingly well. Granted, you were also facing low-level players with far worse gear than you, but your usage of nades was very good and your positioning was above-average. The only things you did wrong IMO were to use the AKM in full auto at low levels of the recoil control/assault rifle skill, and most importantly you repeeked far too often. You're playing Customs right though. The best strat if you don't get a dorms spawn is basically to stay in the spawn zone, fight out the other players, wait for people to cross the map and fight them, then extract in the last 10 minutes.

Pretty sure the default button for holding breath is Alt, not Shift.

Also if your stuck with cheap ammo use the high damage rounds low penetration. Just aim for the legs or any unarmored part of them.

When he takes an Adar instead of an AK100 and leaves the sugar worth 30K behind and goes into a raid with almost broken armor smh.
30k isn't much to be fair and I was worse than him a week or two ago

Link ok, but if you paid attention when he wiped his account he was level 20+! By that time you should have pretty decent game knowledge.
Link but 30K is 1/3 of 100K! An IFAK costs 21K 30K is the difference between profiting and wasting a gear set!

Good tip is always assume they have another teammate dont always loot soon as you kill them. Even if you kill 3 people assume there is a fourth

I dont mean to backseat, Just a little tip: At the Jump at 2:37, dont sprint when you jump on the toilet. If you walk, it will be a lot easier :)

no 50 is the propper fov that makes the lasers and site closer to where the bullet will hit
50 is dogshit garbo. 63 is 90 horizontal FOV, completely removes vignette and has the best zoom to vision ratio. It’s the perfect middle ground

You're playing Customs right though. The best strat if you don't get a dorms spawn is basically to stay in the spawn zone, fight out the other players, wait for people to cross the map and fight them, then extract in the last 10 minutes.
PS ammo for 7.62by39 is not bad ammo, its cheap and it will pen level 3 armor and below and still do a number on anything higher.
If you walk and look down then jump at the end of the car on the port-a-potty jump it’s much easier
