AT 7:50 I RUN OUT OF GAS AND QUICKLY FLIP THE SAW OVER TO CHANGE THE GAS PICK UP IN THE TANK TO EAT UP MORE HOLDING WOOD AS TO AVOID THE BARBER CHAIR EFFECT AS THE WIND THROWS IT IN LAY, ..
There’re just three things that allow you to get away with falling in the wind, experience, experience and......EXPERIENCE! It also pays to have a little luck on hand, just in case nature decides you’re taking liberties.
BUCKIN hope your doing well you fell like 5 trees before I could eat my sandwich you are great at what you do,eat, sleep ,and breath ,powersaws ,and wood, sap runs through your veins my friend,ģreat job buckin your turkey awesome to watch run a power saw keep safe and love to all buckin army take care peace🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Buckin', my favorite super hero was superman when I was a kid and I got the pajama pictures to prove it. I feel like a little kid again because I wana rock your gear set up now. Buckin'! The wizard feller...HAAHHHahahah! Beautiful bud! Lov ya folks. Big heart to all!
Wow buckin the wind 💨 is always a loggers nightmare - you’re got nerves of steal an incredible skills. My father and brother we good but they would be as impressed as I am. I would tell Hoban to stay with you as long as you are alive. He’ll some day know your more than just his Dad. Oh my god I love this team. Give mom my love. POPs
Brilliant felling again, just outstanding, more of clips like this one! I love clips showing the whole felling, from the beginning right up to the end, without interruptions.. Thanks for sharing!
I love watching someone who knows how to cut. Loggers are a different breed when it comes to putting timber down. I Come from the residential work side of things were my only do one tree all day but every piece had to be rigged out. I know Bucking can do that as well. All round tree man . Iv learned tricks with my wedge game watching you.
Nicely done sir buckin Hogan is doing a great job learning when where why pretty darn cool for you young man well come New comers if you don't know ask for help in the comments some one will help out I've never seen anything like this wonderful place to be any day thank you for sharing father and son
Swinging the old guts out on the wedges on that last tree.... beautiful work Gentlemen keep up the good work Hogan you keep eating up the knowledge your dad is feeding you you’ve got the eye of the tiger ... be kind stay safe and see you in the trees 🌲 😁
Damm that's some presise cutting , use the elements to your advantage for sure. Gotta have your head on a swivel and watching everything going on around you , this is some old school cutting here , reminds me years ago going in after the chain saw guys doing replanting for a summer , Black flies , heat , sounds of the saws in background , with Porter's and tree farmers hauling out the logs , dancing your way around the tree limbs , and seeing the deer come out for the tops come onto evening . Here in Nova Scotia now it's all done by machine , no more guys in the woods just with a saw anymore , not unless it's private wood lot and select cutting us done. Nice to see you and your son working side by side , my son is just graduating from Forestry College getting his degree in Forestry Tech , then off for the Law Enforcement part to be a Conservation Officer
That was an awesome falling spree! It so beautiful to watch with how much ease and simplicity you do it, it looks so simple but it's so darn hard :) Great job BBR!
That last Fir reminded me of the very first BBR video I ever watched! It’s funny how things come back in style😂 good work out there fellas, making them trees drop like flies! Love to you and the family❤️
Awesome taking advantage of the conditions. I see you now working side by side with your son and can only imagine the joy it brings you. Thanks for sharing
That last one was a stubborn bugger now wasn't it. Really awesome watching you and Hogan work together like that. That was some seriously fast falling you did taking advantage of that wind. Very nice!
the kid will have some mighty big boots to fill (way down the road) and lucky for him he gets to work with you...he might not realise how rare an opportunity it is to get to work his old man an take in the lessons first hand. You are hangin in on your prime still and bringing the lad along, a great time to teach while still having a blast working as a team. one day the kid will sit back on some old machine to look these old videos up, laughing and smilin and thinking what a time what a time
How can anyone give this man (buckin) a thumbs down guarantee he can run circles around you when it comes to power saws.. not to mention probably the most genuine nicest man that has a youtube channel
That's what I call a cutting video! That wind really helped there for a while :) Just about the time you started cutting that last monster down, I heard Hogan say "The wind went away". Lots of banging wedges after that.
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith I'm working on it Buckin' :) All depends when (and if) I get back surgery. Not doing to gooder at the moment. I'll keep you updated as I know more.
Awesome! Michael Snow was over here two days last week and put me onto you. He had an axe with him, and it almost ended up on my channel - but I didn't want to embarrass myself!
This video reminds me of those days when every cell, molecule and every speck of your very being aligns and everything feels as if you’re a super hero! You guys were on FIRE !!!!! You guys and gals know what I mean?!? It’s so SPECIAL that you and Hogan are working together. I want to give a shout out to Bobby Walker for making these saws RIP! Great looking work and safety gear in use. I believe that’s RB Hi Vision safety shirts, made in Chemainus BC. Excellent product, made specifically for logging and nothing else.
All good if the wind is blowing in one direction. The wind in my area swirls and changes direction so it is dangerous to cut unless it is 5-10mph wind. It's hard to hear and see dead limbs falling with all the noise and motion in the trees too. Nice Work!
Not much I can add to the perfectly succinct comments already posted! You are the master!! Gotta admit, you had me a little nervous a time or two but that last tree.....bangin those wedges in a team effort.....man....hollywood could not dream up a movie that could come even close to suspenseful!! I love watchin you own that timber!! A Buckin Bulldozer with class!! You are without a doubt, without an equal.....Hogan down the road of course....but at present.....no equal! Watch him Hogan....he's passin down an art form that's a dyin breed!! Much to be proud of!!
Wind at your back, falling timber ready to stack, even banging just that one your production looks like you're in a Cadillac!! Buckin', Hogan, and the Mac!!!
I like the melody of the Mac. Reminds me of top fuel dragsters when idling. They rev high without bogging when Buckin' is cutting. I think "It's in the filing."
Stay tuned to this channel. You will find a man who loves his vocation and community and takes care of the tools and people involved. I think the Mac's went to Vancouver Island B.C. Satellite image shows yellow cluster near Nanaimo!! LOL. Stay around. Mind was on taxes: rewards and penalties. Enjoyed conversation. Thinking of rewards now. Be kind.
BBR is a timber felling animal. Love it man. I'm no faller by any means but I've dropped and bucked my fair share. I work for an excavating company that does alot of mine reclamation here in WV. The first stage of all our jobs is clearing trees and all vegetation. They call it grubbing. The largest site I've worked on was about 22 acres. We build roads too, I walk in front of a D-9 cat and 330 excavator and drop and buck trees ahead of them. Its awesome to have a 330 there because it's an awesome wedge lol. Put the bucket out dig the teeth in and that's the only way I'll cut bad learners and difficult cuts lol. Billy you really are amazing at what you do brother.
