Just gotta say, at the point where you said that corpse released shorter songs to target til tok and the lot, most of those songs were written, if not performed/recorded years ago. They are short because it causes corpse intense pain to speak, let alone sing, for any long amount of time. Given the number of takes it would take to record a song, it must have been torture by the last take.

Corpse has a voice that just vibrates my brain. He could read the Phonebook ( yeah showing my age,he is not just for you younglings) and I sit and listen all day long. I've had that gravely component to my voice, coincidentally also Fib, Ps. Arthritis, and a lifetime of acid reflux. but have a lot of lingering insecurities about it and change my voice by extending my neck forward to reach higher tones. Discovering Corpse in the plague year actually did help my self-confidence quite a bit to hear someone with similar health problems and effects being really popular. Because I never tried doing anything with it though, and talk maybe 5-10 times a week only, my speech in general has only gotten worse over time.
I really enjoyed this video bc of how unbiased and honest it is. You're the third legit musician YTer (that I've seen) saying his music is smth different, not bc of his voice but how he incorporates it. Also Cabin Fever and Agoraphobic gang! :)
