As my #valentinesdayspecial I present to you, my gorgeous mother-tongue - Hindi, and the brilliant lyricism it entails when it comes to romance beautifully expressed in Disney songs which are adapted for the Indian audiences.
Here are five romantic Disney songs that hit different when heard in Hindi, thanks to the poetic nature with which they express love: -

The songwriter(s) for the Hindi dub were actually tryna make a reference to the original ending of the little mermaid story (iykyk 💀) with that lyric..

Pyaar Ho Tum Mere from Lion King 2 sounds romantic to me.
I don't know why, but that Robin Hood song sounded like it was sung by Varoon in his falsetto ;)

Haha, Varoon would be thrilled to hear that his voice sounds convincingly girly enough that it can pass for official dubbing artists' voices. 😅🤣

@@MissessArianehaha no it absolutely doesn't sound bad. The singer, Sunayana Sarkar, is a prominent dubbing vocalist in Hindi, having voiced Mother Gothel, Georgette from Oliver and Company, and some Barbie films too! She is a contralto type voice, and such voices often possess a warm and dark texture which sometimes resembles men (Similar to Cher or Pat Carroll). So it is normal.
And of course it is a compliment for Varoon too because he is a voice actor, if he can fool anyone into thinking his voice is a girl's voice that's a big win for him haha. Don't worry.
Salt and water from The Little Mermaid sounds romantic to me.
