Fully vaxxed, sick positive test June 6th. Took Paxlovid on the 8th. By the 10th i was 75% better. Metallic taste was instant after the first taking. After the 5th dose i had a negative test. Its been since the 14th and its June 20th and i feel fine. No rebound or other side effects. It works!!!

It worked for me. Started taking on day 3 of symptoms. I was getting sicker by the hour. Within 6 hours of taking I could tell I was getting better rather than worse. After 2 days of treatment headache and fever was gone. After day 3 of treatment tested negative. Continued the 5 day treatment and tested again on
the 6th day still negative. I have noticed that I still need more sleep than normal even after several weeks later of being covid free. I believe the Paxlovid kept me from having a much worse outcome. I recommend it if you can get it. It does give a bad taste in your mouth but I I discovered orange juice helped alot and it went away after treatment.

Had a runny nose and a sporadic head ache Tuesday June 28th. Wednesday June 29th mid afternoon it hit me. Head ache, runny nose, fatigue, joint pain, sore throat, some coughing. I went to a Covid site and tested positive. By 8p on June 28th I took my first dose of Paxlovid.
I have been on Paxlovid for almost 40 hours. I noticed a slight improvement. My sinus’s have opened up and mucus seems to breaking loose. I’m 62, in great health. Had the Moderna vaccine and boostered once in November 2021.
Definitely have the metal taste in my mouth.

Got sick on June 18, immediately went to the doctor and got a pcr covid test. It was positive and I started the paxlovid that day. Started feeling much better by the 3rd day. Was feeling fine by the 5th day (Wednesday, June 22nd). I got another pcr covid test on Thursday, June 23 and it was negative. Now its Sunday night, June 26 and I feel awful again. Constant runny nose with clear mucus gushing and I feel like I can’t breathe out of my nose. I did a rapid test at home and it’s positive. Definitely a relapse. I’m freaking the F**K out because I’ve already missed so much work and I was feeling fine so I went back to work this weekend (masked-up, of course) and I’m sick again. I’m overweight but I’m vaccinated and boosted and I thought those were supposed to help me, now I feel like I don’t know what’s going to happen. Anxiety is through the roof. @@Gwyndolinnn Hi Danny- Feeling better now. Not 100% yet, have some shortness of breath and fatigue but I've been able to return to work and feel good after my shifts. This Omicron is NO JOKE. People are acting like the pandemic is all over (myself included until I got sick) and if you're vaccinated, you're fine, but the truth is you can still get really sick and be down for weeks or maybe even months with Long Covid symptoms. Yes, you're not in the hospital, but it still doesn't mean you're doing ok. I'm going back to masking-up and avoiding large crowds. It's just not worth it and I don't wish this on anyone. It's also been a huge wake up call and once I start feeling 100% again I am going to really start tackling other health issues (mostly weight) I have. Also just speculating here but I think doctors don't really know how bad Covid could get. This could get worse. It could mutate again and be even more harmful. I want to be in optimum health whenever or if ever that happens. Hope you start feeling better soon, you eventually do start to feel better, it just takes time, and there are good days and bad days. Stay strong and eat healthy.

@@tylergooding9743 I’m glad to hear you’ve improved at least a bit! I agree its no joke, I’ve heard of people that have had significantly worse experiences with this virus and I would like to think paxlovid helped a ton in preventing my case from becoming severe (I have an unfortunate health history with heart issues at 22 along with a moderate to severe underweight BMI). When my symptoms rebounded I felt pretty dismal and I got anxious after my doctor prescribed a second round due to the speculations, but I’ve been stable health-wise since.
I get to take my last round tonight and then I’m hoping that there won’t be a second rebound. It sounds like its mostly a thing from the first round sometimes not being enough for some people, so I’m crossing my fingers. I already ordered a new set of masks and will not be going out unless its absolutely necessary. I’ve been hearing about the rising “Centaurus” variant and if names could kill, that would be the one to do it. Wishing you the best in your recovery

I took this drug. I feel 40 percent better after the 4th days. Absolutely agreed with Bob. However, Paxlovid is not easy to get. Took Walgreens 1.5 days to allocate this drug for me.
I lived in the North suburd of Chicago.

I am on day 3 of having covid. I started paxlovid on day two. Feeling better in that my fever is gone, muscles aches gone, but I am still having a lot of congestion and a horrendous sore throat. But I seem to be getting better.

That's not a big deal, you might rebound without the Paxlovid. Covid is different for everyone. The fact is that it could very possibly keep you from getting long haul Covid, which is a great benefit. It's more how you feel after the treatment than what the test says. That's why they say to wear a mask for a week after treatment regardless of what the test says.

I’m experiencing COVID-19 after taking Plaxlovid. I was feeling better and tested negative 4 days in a row. Then I started feeling sick again, I remember my doctor mentioning that was a rare possibility of rebounding , of course I tested and was positive again with symptoms.
Ugh 😣 after 2.5 years this 🦠finally got me and got me again 😖
