I've been familiar with this one for years :) This is from Monday 3rd February 1986, at the beginning of the coldest month this side of 1963. I've seen closedowns from all regions except Grampian.
@dublinbrazilianblue actually I may have forgotten Channel when I made that post. I can't call to mind what their closedowns looked like, so I'm almost certain I haven't seen one ... I have *heard* a Channel closedown from 1969 though (well, definitely an afternoon closedown post-Morning Worship and possibly a late-night one) but I don't recall seeing one. My apologies!
More than you could possibly dream of. More than I *should* have seen, to be honest.
Nice bit of nostalgia Ned ;o)

coldest month since 1963? What, colder than Jan 79 or Dec 81-Jan 82?
That's 34 years today...
... and indeed there are Grampian closedowns on here now. So Channel is pretty much the only one I'm missing.
Yay! Legendary Tom Edwards!

There was a Channel TV closedown from 1994 I saw a few times. I can't seem to find it.
+essvee86 Not 1994, ITV went 24 hours in 1988.
@RobinCarmody You've seen a Channel closedown?? Where did you see that?
