Thanx Tyler. I hope that thing your making isn't a bass whistle. I'm not falling for that again! Its great when that shazam moment happens. I don't travel around the country so its easier for me to figure what the bass are up too.
I was catching them yesterday on a drop shot (shad colored fluke on the hook about 24" above shaky head with a 4" Junebug worm as the weight). None of the fish bit the fluke. All (3) bit the shaky head (roof of the mouth). 52ish degree water and roughly 40-45' deep. Edges of ditches in creek arms. Hope this helps. 👍🇺🇸
Can't wait for the giveaway! I bought rod sleeves and my wife got me the fishing gloves! I have been waiting for this video, I asked how to find and catch fish bank fishing.
Yesterday I was still catching bass in shallow laydowns around 5-8' and the water temp was 51°. At what temp will they stop being there and moving deeper?
Just a side note. Knowing what type of largemouth bass are in a particular lake changes where they are located too. Northern strain will react differently to Florida strain bass under specific weather conditions. I personally have 2 lakes that I fish constantly. One has northern strain and the other Florida strain and where they are located on a given day is totally different.
@ in the lakes I fish, the one with the Florida strain bass they tend to go deep under warmer conditions than the lake with the northern strain. I’m in the southern states and the northern strain bass lake, about the only time the bass are found deep is in the middle of the summer when it’s just extremely hot. They actually go there because it’s cooler but I never see them going there to escape the cold. The cold just does not bother the northern strain bass in the same way as the Florida strain. At least in my experience. The northern strain almost prefer it I think. They seem to get more active in the cooler to cold months here where as the Florida strain lake seems to produce better in the late spring through summer months. It’s starting to get cooler here and lately the Florida strain lake has been just almost dead in activity. I’ve fished it for hours and I’ll pick up a fish here and there but never catch many. The northern strain lake, I catch them constantly out of right now. They just react completely differently to warm vs cold weather. Maybe it’s an anomaly of my lakes but it’s been this way since we built them and that was over 25 years ago.
@@DoYouLoveTheSilverHairedGodyou just described how smallies and largemouth act in most of the ponds I fish here in Massachusetts. Smallies seem more active in the cooler water .
@@DoYouLoveTheSilverHairedGod Man that was awesome information. It's always nice to hear a perspective like that! Ots wild how something with near identical genetics can behave so differently
Tyler I enjoy watching your videos you have very helpful information 👍 I don't get excited about give aways for i could get my name in there all but one and that would win.
You explained how the pioneers of the sport found fish Before our modern day electronics. There was a time when all the O.G.'s had was a flasher, they had to know the seasonal movements of the fish and locate the forage. Today's "Pros" wouldn't last a few hours against past Professional Anglers Like Parker, Roland, Brauer, Fritz or Dance. These anglers knew where fish would be located and positioned during each season and weather pattern, there Wasn't Forward Facing Sonar. There Wasn't Any Modern Sonar. For anyone who's New to fishing, You DON'T "Need" electronics, study the Fish. Great video

Love my bass hat I got for Christmas
What is your favorite small pond jerk bait? One that doesn’t dive too deep for a shallow pond
Go bucks!
O H let’s beat Oregon. Great info Tyler. Thanks for the videos!
I have a question about bluegills does that give a sign that there is bass close by

can you give some rough examples?

@@DoYouLoveTheSilverHairedGod Man that is fascinating.. You never really know what bass behaviors are centered on food and which are hard-wired in.

#1 Look in the water. DUH!!!
What’s up
Go Irish
Fish don’t usually eat birds. 🤦♂️ but I’m down to chase ‘em
Lol I may have said that but what I meant was birds eat baitfish..and the bass eat those same baitfish...so where the birds are...the bass can also be
