In this video, we are going to draw a cartoon character jumping in a puddle on a rainy day. We'll also talk about key tips for drawing line art, quickly adding colors, shading, and building an overall good digital art workflow.

Could you do an in-depth tutorial about clothing? Cartoon or realistic, either is fine! You do explain it enough in all your videos but a tutorial just for clothing would be great! Maybe using like a sweatshirt being worn a few different ways?

I didn't draw this with you, but I would have used a neon orange for my raincoat, if I had. I'm writing a graphic memoir of how I used my health and fitness knowledge to stop my mother with mild dementia from forgetting me, and it worked. I use PS for the background pics and of my mother and me, and I draw other people with Fresco. I was learning Procreate until I learned that I couldn't do vector with it. I'm not sure if that is true now, but it was 3 years ago, when I started using InDesign to put it all together. I enjoyed watching this video while I was drawing my theme in my bullet journal of Josie and the Pussycats. :)

Orange. Had fun with this...replaced your image with that of my wife. I'm really enjoying your tutorials.
When I draw a torso, I picture it as an ants head, making the bottom of the rounded oblong into a slight point, with the centre line being the mid line of the head, and then the arm holes the eyes on the side.
The pelvis I picture as a heart shape. They really help me see it in a more three dimensional way

i do have a question tho - when coloring, why didn’t you use the line art as reference for color dropping? imo that’s remarkably faster than the path you did in this video (and i know that you’ve done it in other videos), so i was wondering (if it’s no hustle) what your reasons were!

Is there anywhere that you have a video of you doing the original drawing? I’ve followed you for a long time and learned a lot have a good time between 20 and 30 of your tutorials, but I’ve noticed that that are a lot of subtle details in you examples that are not on the drawing for the videos. I think sometimes learning how to do those details would really make a big difference. Ive noticed it in a few videos, Like the face and hair especially. I would really like to learn some of those more advanced? maybe techniques i would definitely join Patreon if there were explanation or even just a video of those extra details.
