One hint Rueben - if your going to cut a bolt down or belting in an earth rod - screw a nut onto it first. When you undo it it acts like a die and cleans up the thread
Looking forward to the first Lee and Cory video using all the tricks of trade, angle drilling, tool of the day in every clip and big fat Nooooooooooice at the end of it all 🤣 good on Reuben aswell for getting stuck it and taking a real interest in the job and not shying away from things 👍
Like the shout out to Hypervolt for their customer service & how they seem to be listening to installers (really like the template on the box!). Always great to know the companies that are doing a good job.
Thank you for mentioning our product Jordan and for tagging our web site. Much appreciated.
The Rubenator is so confident. I love it!!! The Rubenator will definitely make a good spark.
Welcome to the team Lee!
Floating terminal blocks is a no no. They need to be fixed or use maintenance free connectors such as Wago’s. Otherwise a quality install.👍
Jordan seems a really good boss. Prepared to listen to others and join in and have banter
Also put nut to earth rod before hitting it with hammer. When you hit to nut you don't ruin threads.
New lad has all the gear and all the idea, looking forward to more learning from you guys keep it up.
Great install to the Artisan above & beyond standards as standard.
Hi as an electrical lecturer at a college, the issue is staffing, one, colleges have poor pay which does not encourage staff to join, two, finding good lecturers is another factor, being a sparks and teaching is a whole different world, a lot of good lecturers are leaving as they have become very frustrated with the system, the new lecturers that do start tend to not hang around very longer when they realize that they have to spend most weekends and holidays doing paperwork such as marking, and the amount of stress there is in teaching, I love teaching and the rewards you see when students achieve, While Ruben is waiting for a place I can help him out with training material he can self study so he is not behind if it helps, also will be able to give a bit of support online.
Great to see how you guys do things on the other side of the world. Awesome you tube channel, keep up the great work.
We used a similar cable stripper at BT, great bit of kit for circumferential cuts too. On ours the blade was self straightening with longitudinal cuts. A very underrated tool.
You guys will smash through 80K subscribers in no time at all!
The cable stripper tool is brilliant, but make sure you use it the right way around to prevent it slipping off (will just make sure you make a cleaner cut as you do the first 'twist' cut of the insulation.)
Great team work! Thumbs up! Cheers!
I've had a few of those sheath cutters over the years. They work well.
Need to know where I can get one of those jump leads, will be a real time saver, and also get rid of the risk of forgetting to tighten a cable back into the breaker once it’s been removed for testing
